Dhaka is also moving fast in this respect, witnessing by the presence of PV modules on practically almost all building’s rooftop. Nevertheless, because Dhaka is full of pollution and dust, it is easy to notice how PV modules grow dust quickly. Numerous weather parameters such as Dust, Temperature, Rain, shading by Clouds, and Solar Irradiance significantly affect the output energy performance of the PV module. This research paper figures out the impact of dust, temperature, and Solar Irradiance on the efficiency of a photovoltaic method at an altitude of more than 80 m in the middle of Dhaka city in Bangladesh. The study compares the performance of solar irradiance and efficiency of two PV modules where one was kept dusty, and another one was cleaned regularly and tried to determine the effect of dust on the PV modules. The analysis demonstrates the performance of the clean module 6.711% more compared to the dusty module as accumulated dust increases the surface temperature of the PV module and blocks some portion of solar irradiance. Furthermore, the performance of the modules is affected due to clouds and rain.","PeriodicalId":429704,"journal":{"name":"2022 2nd Asian Conference on Innovation in Technology (ASIANCON)","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122615402","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Due to this, the lodging of grievances by citizens has increased many folds, but this makes the job of e-governance really difficult. A lot of times the same grievances are raised by many complainants so the officials have to go through the same grievances repeatedly. Due to this, critical grievances can go unnoticed or even trivial grievances might flood up the system. To solve such problems in grievances systems, we propose a priority algorithm, that ranks different grievances according to their priority of crucialness using machine learning which will help to address the more critical grievances in the required time as compared to less critical grievances. The algorithm considers different factors along with similarity of already raised grievances with new grievance and comparison of important keywords.","PeriodicalId":429704,"journal":{"name":"2022 2nd Asian Conference on Innovation in Technology (ASIANCON)","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124598028","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

AutoKYC follows the set of multi-step verification in order to establish the identity of person. As a consequence of distributed generation (DG) penetration, the fault current becomes dynamic in nature, leading to make the conventional protection methods vulnerable. In order to resolve this, a simple and fast protection technique based on Empirical Wavelet Transform (EWT) in conjugation with Teager Kaiser Energy Operator (TKEO) has been proposed in this paper. For analysing the proposed method, a 14 bus generic looped microgrid structure containing both rotating type and inverter interfaced DG units is considered as a test system. This scheme estimates the multiresolution coefficient of symmetrical components of fault current signal using EWT, and then the adaptive threshold setting for detection and classification of fault is obtained by TKEO method for both grid-connected and autonomous mode of operation. This scheme is adaptive in nature as it can produce the threshold from the estimated Teager Kaiser Energy contained in the given signal. The test system is designed and simulated in PSCAD-EMTDC software, where the signal analysis part is performed in MATLAB.","PeriodicalId":429704,"journal":{"name":"2022 2nd Asian Conference on Innovation in Technology (ASIANCON)","volume":"129 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114717004","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The discontinuous breathing due to upper airway blocking may lead to various cardiovascular and neurological complications such as hypertension and stroke. Polysomnography and manual scanning of ECG signals are time-consuming and expensive techniques. Thus, a need arises for exploring the alternatives to these techniques. The existing literature highlights the efficacy of machine learning and deep learning techniques in the detection of sleep apnea using ECG signals. The comparison of 2-Dimensional and 1-Dimensional convolution neural network-based models stipulate that 2-Dimensional models are better in efficacy, whereas of 1-Dimensional models are more adaptive and compact. Therefore, in this study, the authors looked for a trade-off and designed a novel 1-Dimensional architecture ’1-D Channel Attention Convolution Neural Network’ for the detection of sleep apnea. This compact architecture achieves better accuracy than other 1-Dimensional models with a limited number of parameters. First, it uses the Savitzky-Golay filter for noise suppression, thereafter it uses the smoothened signals for classification. The model utilizes channel attention layers to refine the intermediate feature descriptors before passing them deeper into the network. Thus, simultaneously reducing the need of implementing a deep neural network. The 1-D Channel Attention Convolution Neural Network reports the highest average accuracy of 93.01%, specificity of 93.10%, and sensitivity of 92.93% for sleep apnea detection. The results obtained prove that the proposed model outperforms other state-of-the-art 1-D convolution neural network architectures.","PeriodicalId":429704,"journal":{"name":"2022 2nd Asian Conference on Innovation in Technology (ASIANCON)","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114809463","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It has various application domains such as augmented preview, medical field, construction and many more. However, creating such a detailed mesh requires manually modelling each feature in a tool (like Blender). A quicker approach would be to use photogrammetry that requires a set of cameras capturing each visual aspect of the subject from specific angles. As we can observe, both of these techniques are resource intensive (time and physical camera setup respectively). Further, Deep learning based methods have been proposed, but these do not work on novel geometry. We propose a methodology that makes use of the unique approach of ray casting which takes image sequences as an input and produce a 3 dimensional mesh. This approach can work for any novel geometry since no pre-learning is being performed as well as the time taken would be far less than manual modelling and also works with a single camera setup.","PeriodicalId":429704,"journal":{"name":"2022 2nd Asian Conference on Innovation in Technology (ASIANCON)","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130482738","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
