Neto, Marciéli da Silva, Alberto Ricardo Stefeni","doi":"10.5935/PAET.V12.N3.05","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.5935/PAET.V12.N3.05","url":null,"abstract":"Para iniciar a insercao de uma nova cultura, como e o caso do aracazeiro, e necessario tecnicas eficientes para producao de mudas de qualidade.  O objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar periodo de estratificacao, bem como a aplicacao do tipo de solucao composta por GA 3 ou NaClO com o tempo de imersao, na influencia da germinacao de sementes de aracazeiro amarelo. Foi realizado experimento em DIC no arranjo multifatorial triplo [periodo de estratificacao x tipo de solucao x tempo de imersao na solucao]. Cinco periodos de estratificacao (0, 5, 10, 15, 20 dias), cinco tipos de solucao de imersao (nenhuma, H 2 O, NaClO 5%, GA 3 100 mg L -1 , GA 3 300 mg L -1 ) e tres tempos de imersao em solucao (seis, 12 e 24 horas) com quatro repeticoes de 100 sementes. Avaliou-se a germinacao, o indice de velocidade de germinacao (IVG) e o tempo medio de germinacao (TMG). O GA 3 mostrou-se promotor eficiente para rapida germinacao de sementes de aracazeiro. A estratificacao so e recomendada para sementes de aracazeiro amarelo se nao associados ao uso do GA 3 . A opcao dos investidores florestais por estas especies se deve as vantagens que elas apresentam em termos qualitativos e economicos. Porem, estudos e pesquisas com vistas a aprimorar os tratos silviculturais dessas especies e consequentemente aumentar a produtividade dos povoamentos ainda sao incipientes. Assim, a presente revisao teve por objetivo reunir e apresentar as principais praticas silviculturais, relatadas na literatura, que vem sendo aplicadas para o cultivo de meliaceas no Brasil. Foram abordados temas como a descricao das especies e usos da madeira, operacoes comuns ao cultivo, aspectos silviculturais, pragas e doencas da cultura. Therefore the proper level of fertilizers and appropriate methods is required to sustain the productivity of crops and soil fertility. Different levels of Nitrogen and its application methods were used to improve the canola productivity. A field experiment was conducted at University of Agriculture, Peshawar research farm in 2015-16. Randomized complete block design in split plot arrangement was applied with four replicates. Application methods (Broadcast method, rows one side placement, rows both side placement and rows between) were allotted to main plots and N levels (40, 70 and 90 kg ha-1) were allotted to subplots. Experimental results exhibit that all the parameter were significantly (p ≤ 0.05) different; maximum days to emergence (9), maximum number of plant m-2 (32), maximum days to first flowering (97), maximum grain pod-1 (28), maximum 1000 grain weight (3.2 g), maximum grain yield (985 kg ha-1) were noted at plot that fertilized with 70 kg ha-1 N along with both side placement of rows. Kinnow mandarin is dominant cultivated in the plain of the Punjab, Pakistan. Being a perennial crop, citrus is more vulnerable to changing environmental conditions and both physical and biochemical quality parameters are deteriorated by erratic behavior of weather around the year. The present study was conducted to assess the impact of climate change on citrus industry of Pakistan and selected three main citrus groves of the Punjab province. The selected orchards were uniform in age, vigor and planting geometry by using factorial (RCBD) while survey design was performed to assess impact of climate change on Kinnow fruit industry. Climate change has triggered pest’s infestation, disease incidence and water use and ultimately increased inputs cost. Heat and drought stress and fog was more observed in Vehari and Toba Tek Singh (TTS) and more yield reduction and low quality was recorded in these districts than Sargodha. Processing cost increased and more export risk was seen with market fluctuation in climate change scenario. Increased in input cost, water requirement of plant, reduction in net return and uncertain market were observed. Como el cultivo de maiz requiere suelos de alta fertilidade el potencial osmotico de estos suelos normalmente es negativo. Por lo tanto, el uso de semillas vigorosas brinda mayores oportunidades para el establecimiento de plantas en el campo, y el factor genetico tambien puede actuar en estas situaciones. Por lo tanto, el objetivo de este trabajo fue investigar la influencia del genotipo y el vigor del maiz en el desarrollo de las plantulas bajo el efecto del potencial osmotico. Se utilizaron semillas de dos cultivares hibridos simples (30F35R y 30P70H), cada uno representado por tres lotes con diferencias de vigor, inicialmente evaluados por la determinacion del contenido de agua y la emergencia de las plantulas en el campo. Los tratamientos de estres osmotico probados fueron: cero; -0,1; -0,2; -0,3; -0.4 y -0.6 MPa, obtenido con solucion de polietilenglicol 6000. Visando definir a possibilidade de colheita antecipada, objetivou-se avaliar a qualidade pos-colheita de frutos colhidos antecipadamente (casca verde), com e sem tratamento com ethephon, visando o aproveitamento dos frutos antes da chegada do inverno. Para isto, determinou-se solidos soluveis (SS), pH, acidez titulavel (AT), ratio , perda de massa, rendimento de polpa, espessura e indice de cor da casca (ICC) e polpa (ICP), producao de CO 2 e etileno. O delineamento experimental foi inteiramente casualizado em esquema fatorial com frutos tratados ou nao com etileno e cinco periodos do armazenamento. Frutos imersos em ethephon apresentaram cor da casca 100% amarela apos 14 dias (tres dias antes do tratamento controle). Cor da polpa, espessura da casca, perda de massa e pH nao diferiram entre os tratamentos, bem como AT, SS e ratio apresentaram semelhancas. O rendimento de polpa obedeceu ao nivel requerido pela industria em ambos os casos.
