The objective of this study was to evaluate the logistics of using a motorized vehicle and a portable infrared spectrophotometer (NIR) to quantify the field phenolic compounds (anthocyanin, polyphenols and tannins) of the Isabel grape by spectral data. The spectra were taken in the field in a portable NIR (Brimrose Corp, MD, USA), attached to a Notebook and positioned in a Gator (John Deere) motor vehicle, which has a suitable dimension (1.52 m) to lines without damaging the plants. The phenolic compounds were estimated using calibration models previously determined. Seventy clusters of grape were evaluated in the 2017 and 2018 harvests, after pigmentation of the bark. It was observed that the models tested to quantify the phenolic compounds had an excellent predictive capacity, presenting low standard deviation. The UPGMA and main component cluster analysis using biplot were performed in Statistica 7.7 software. The characteristics evaluated were: fruit weight, longitudinal and transverse diameter, peel thickness, seed number, spike size, pulp weight, fruit firmness, soluble solids, titratable acidity, SS / AT ratio, pH, starch, compounds total phenolics, antioxidant activity and vitamin C. The analysis of clusters brought together the matrices in four heterotic groups on the physical and chemical attributes of the fruits. The analysis of the first two main components represented 58.88% of the total data variation and allowed to correlate matrices according to the angle and length of their vectors to the most relevant characters. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that the G33, L89, D15 and K24 matrices are characterized by the high soluble solids content, while the matrix E18 presents high potential due to the higher content of bioactive compounds. Regarding the physical characters, highlight materials E23, J08 and C27 due to the higher weight of the pulp. Genetic diversity analysis of 96 walnut genotypes from Kashmir was done using 13 RAPD and 19 ISSR markers. RAPD diversity analysis revealed 27.78% polymorphism while as ISSR analysis showed 93.05% of polymorphic bands. Jaccards similarity co-efficient ranged from 0.78 to 1 with an average of 0.91 for RAPD and 0.22 to 0.85 with an average of 0.58 for ISSR markers and 0.59 to 0.92 with an average of 0.74 for combined data. Cluster analysis using UPGMA by RAPD and ISSR markers obviously revealed distinct diversity between genotypes. The dendrogram constructed from the combination of RAPD and ISSR markers categorized the 96 genotypes into one major cluster and five minor clusters. Effective number of alleles (Ne), Nei’s gene diversity (H) and Shannon’s Information index (I) of 96 samples were 1.12, 0.08 and 0.12 respectively for RAPD data and 1.48, 0.29 and 0.44 for ISSR data respectively. Positive correlation (r=0.11) was observed between RAPD and ISSR markers using the Mantel test and thus supporting the validity of the dendrogram. The high number of alleles and a broad range of genetic diversity were observed among all the genotypes, accounting them as potential candidates for selective breeding for particular traits and expanding the genetic base. The objective of this work was to analyze the performance of a cultivar developed in the United States, aiming to adapt to the climate of the Campos Gerais region in Parana. This work was carried out during the years 2013 to 2015, in which the phenological evaluations analyzed were: beginning and end of flowering and fruiting; on the fruits, it was evaluated: diameter (DM), fruit weight (PF), stone weight (PC), mass of fruits (MF), total soluble solids (SST), total titratable acidity (ATT), ratio (RAT) and pH. The phenological results obtained related to the production cycles show that this introduction in the region presents the fruit harvest in December and the physical and chemical characteristics present in the fruits present a quality equal to or higher than those obtained in cultivars already available in the market. Os residuos de peixe obtidos no mercado municipal do municipio de Braganca – PA foram decompostos em compostagem e na fabricacao da silagem biologica sendo, posteriormente, utilizados como substratos na germinacao de alface cv. Monica. O semeio foi realizado utilizando tres sementes por celula em bandejas de 200 celulas utilizando como substratos: S1 (controle), S2 (compostagem de peixe), S3 (compostagem de peixe + silagem de peixe), S4 (controle + compostagem de peixe), S5 (controle + silagem de peixe). O delineamento experimental adotado foi em blocos casualizados (DBC) com cinco tratamentos e quatro repeticoes de 50 sementes. Ao longo de 25 dias avaliou-se porcentagem e o indice de velocidade de germinacao e, ao final deste periodo o vigor das plântulas, comprimento da parte aerea e da raiz e massa fresca e seca da parte aerea e raiz. O substrato S2 (compostagem de peixe) conferiu maior porcentagem de germinacao (93,2%), velocidade de germinacao (9,1), vigor das plântulas (91,3%), na massa fresca da parte aerea (0,43 g) e da raiz (0,18 g) diferindo significativamente (p<0,05) dos demais substratos. A adicao da compostagem e da silagem biologica conferiu melhores resultados sobre a germinacao e vigor das plântulas quando comparados ao substrato S1 (controle). O experimento foi conduzido na area experimental do Centro de Ciencias Agrarias e da Biodiversidade (CCAB) da Universidade Federal do Cariri (UFCA), Crato-CE. O delineamento usado foi em blocos casualizados em esquema fatorial 2 x 3, com quatro repeticoes, sendo o primeiro fator, o espacamento de 0,15 m e 0,20 m entre fileiras, e o segundo fator, a quantidades de sementes, 2, 4 e 6 g por metro. Os fatores avaliados foram altura da planta, massa por planta, massa por raiz, numero de plantas por metro, massa de raizes e de plantas por metro, numero de plantas por metro quadrado, e massa de raizes e de plantas por metro quadrado. A pesquisa apresentou maior altura de plantas, massa por planta e massa de plantas por metro quadrado para o espacamento de 0,15 m. Soto-Bravo","doi":"10.5935/PAET.V12.N3.04","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.5935/PAET.V12.N3.04","url":null,"abstract":"En el 2016, en la Estacion Experimental Agricola Fabio Baudrit Moreno, Alajuela, Costa Rica, se realizo un estudio con el objetivo de caracterizar el sistema de produccion de culantro coyote en hidroponia bajo proteccion y cuantificar la absorcion de nutrientes por unidad de superficie (N ab: g m -2 ) y como concentracion de absorcion (C ab : mg L -1 ). El cultivo ( 60 m 2 ) incluyo dos etapas de produccion consecutivas: 1- en verano protegido con saran 30% sombra y 2- en invierno protegido con techo plastico. Se cosecharon 15 plantas cada 10 dias, con cinco repeticiones/muestreo (50 plantas), a las cuales se les cuantifico biomasa fresca, indice de area foliar (IAF) y longitud de hoja. Para caracterizar el sistema de cultivo se midio radiacion solar, velocidad de viento, humedad relativa, temperatura y grados dia (GD) en clima; humedad volumetrica y temperatura en sustrato; y conductividad electrica (CE) y pH en drenaje. La N ab se obtuvo a partir de la materia seca y su concentracion de nutrientes; la evapotranspiracion del cultivo (ET c ) por balance de agua en lisimetro; y la C ab como el cociente entre N ab y la ET c . Adicionalmente, se realizo un analisis de regresion de la N ab segun GD acumulados . El cultivo bajo proteccion en invierno y en verano, mostro un elevado potencial de rendimiento, donde el orden de absorcion fue K > N > P > Ca > S > Mg > Fe > Mn > B > Zn > Cu, con un incremento maximo (%) a los 40 DDT; cuando acumulo 625 GD en verano y 608 GD en invierno. El comportamiento de N ab por unidad de superficie fue consecuente con el patron mostrado por la C ab.
