Optimized parameter namely pH, contact time, biosorbent dosage and initial metal concentration obtained from the experiment was then applied for electroplating wastewater treatment. Biosorption using chitosan-immobilized Acinetobacter haemolyticus at pH 3, 8 hours contact time, 3% (w/v) of biosorbent dosage with 100 mg L-1 initial metal concentration resulted in maximum chromium (VI) uptake of 0.2 mg g-1. It is one of the e-government applications that has the potential in ensuring the tax collection process efficiently. However, there are many excuses given by the taxpayers for not using the e-filing service provided by the government. Hence, taxpayer behavior really affects revenue collection for the country. The research postulates two objectives namely; to investigate the taxpayer's awareness on the availability of the electronic services offered by Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri Malaysia (LHDNM) and to analyse the feedback on the system. Data were collected using questionnaire adapted from Siegel's model known as electronic filing model of motivation (e-MAM), developed in 2008. The complexation between polymer and salt is observed by FTIR spectral studies. The band at 1728 cm-1 represents the C=O carbonyl group of MG30. The interaction is between the NH4+ cation and the oxygen atom of the C=O is confirmed since the IR spectrum show a shifting in the C=O stretching peak to lower wavenumber. The effect of plasticizer on the MG30-NH4CF3SO3 on the ionic conductivity is explained in terms of the plasticizer loading of the film. The temperature dependence of the conductivity of the polymer films obeys the Vogel-Tamman-Fulcher (VTF) relationship. This research focus on Malaysian companies because Malaysia considered as one of the largest stock market in Southeast Asia countries. These studies utilize company's annual reports as a proxy for their CSR initiatives. As crisis has resulted negative impact to country and society, the result of the study shows that the economic crisis have motivated government and business to joint hand together to mitigate the impacts, as evident since 1920s i.e. after the Stock Market crash in United States and World War II. On the other hand, the crisis has also provide opportunity for the business to redirect away from a threat to an opportunity that differentiate them from the others. Furthermore, the study fairly explains legitimacy theory notions on the managerial actions from the Institutional lens namely \"Institutional Legitimacy\". Finally, apart from offerings descriptive contribution, our ambition is to assist future research on the post economic crisis particularly after the 2008 global economic crisis. Researches on m-learning were conducted to serve the best way to adopt language learning via mobile phone thus Iban language has been chosen to be implemented as a mobile dialogue-based application to promote language learning due to richness in unique culture and language. M-Jako Iban is designed to provide learner a different approach in learning language based on their situations and environments where Iban language is applicable. Since Iban pronunciations are different from any Malaysian's local dialects thus the correct pronunciations are vital to assists the learner. Storytelling also shows an engaging and entertaining approach despite promoting a compromising learning experience to the learners and it has been adapted in the design and development of m-Jako Iban. This study employs the combination of serotyping and random amplified polymorphism DNA (RAPD) analysis methods to characterize the isolated L. monocytogenes strains in food samples from local markets. Listeria antisera kit was used in serotyping which grouped L. monocytogenes isolates based on the expression of somatic and flagellar antigens. The L. monocytogenes serovars were further classified into RAPD types based on polymorphic banding patterns generated by using 10 random RAPD primers. The 23 isolated strains were divided into four different serotypes consisting 4b (43.5%), 1/2b (34.8%), 4d (8.70%) and 4e (4.35%) with two untypable isolates (8.70%). 11 banding patterns were obtained from each selected primer, OPA10 and OPA14 with DNA fragments ranging from approximately 0.15 kb to 1.1 kb. The constructed dendograms showed similarity percentage of 4% to 100% for OPA10, 12% to 100% for OPA14 and 4% to 100% for combination of primers. At a comparative genetic similarity of more than 90%, 21 distinguish RAPD profiles were obtained. The discriminatory of RAPD analysis method was proven as it could distinguish the isolates from the same serovar. However, between the two primers used, OPA14 provide better discriminatory results than OPA10 although it failed to type one isolate. These findings suggest that the application of RAPD analysis could be a useful tool in characterization of L. monocytogenes isolated from foods as it may provide important information on cross-contamination potential sites. Thus, the microbial monitoring should be applied and continuously performed in order to control listeriosis infection. Electrical conductivity showed increasing in value as the composition of I-MWNT increased from 0, 2 to 4 wt%. The value of conductivity is very outstanding when the polymer was blended with I-MWNT where the value rise from pure MEH-PPV, 81.6 × 10-4 S/m to 67.68 × 104 and 80.28 × 104 S/m for 2 and 4 wt% respectively. The surface morphology was investigated using atomic for microscopy (AFM). Roughness of the thin film showed decrement in value from 5.385 nm, 0.751 nm and 0.643 nm for 0, 2, and 4 wt% respectively. Meanwhile, the absorbance value increase slightly from about 0.16 (0 wt%) to about 0.165 and 0.17 (2 and 4 wt% respectively). This paper extends prior researches by investigating and exploring the use of ICT and ethical issues in Malaysian primary school. This study relates with four ICT issues proposed by Mason: privacy, accuracy, property and accessibility (known as the PAPA model). In this study, the quantitative methodology has been adopted by distributing questionnaires among students. In this paper, we propose a new method for ranking fuzzy numbers based on Dice set theoretic index. The Hurwicz criterion which considers all types of decision makers' perspective is employed in aggregating the fuzzy total evidences. The properties of the proposed method are also presented. Five numerical examples are presented to illustrate the advantages of the proposed method.
