Researches on m-learning were conducted to serve the best way to adopt language learning via mobile phone thus Iban language has been chosen to be implemented as a mobile dialogue-based application to promote language learning due to richness in unique culture and language. M-Jako Iban is designed to provide learner a different approach in learning language based on their situations and environments where Iban language is applicable. Since Iban pronunciations are different from any Malaysian's local dialects thus the correct pronunciations are vital to assists the learner. Storytelling also shows an engaging and entertaining approach despite promoting a compromising learning experience to the learners and it has been adapted in the design and development of m-Jako Iban.
