The introduced mechanism allows an approximate binarization of system's eigenvalues to obtain a projector into the noise subspace. Additionally we demonstrate that if the powers of transmitted signals are known a priori, an accurate estimation of noise power can be calculated using the diagonal components of spectral matrix. Numerical simulation is presented using a non uniform linear array, the obtained results verify that the proposed technique has the same resolution power as the eigenspace based spectral techniques.","PeriodicalId":426557,"journal":{"name":"2015 Intelligent Systems and Computer Vision (ISCV)","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-03-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121556102","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To reduce the energy consumption, the traffic exchange between sensor nodes must be reduced in order to preserve the remaining energy. To reduce the network traffic overhead and prolong the lifespan of the network, we can use mobile agents to gather data from source nodes. However, this solution can be expensive in terms of delivery latency. For that we propose a new energy protocol named Energy Efficient Clustering with Mobile Agents (EECMA) based on combining the two paradigms of client/server and mobile agent to achieve the trade-off between increasing the network lifetime and reducing the data delivery latency. Furthermore, we expose a multidimensional model to process incoming data from sinks in order to enhance the overall performance of our system.","PeriodicalId":426557,"journal":{"name":"2015 Intelligent Systems and Computer Vision (ISCV)","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-03-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122983996","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper mainly contributes to the Color Space-Time Interest Points (CSTIP) extraction and detection. We propose a new method for detection of moving objects. Two main steps compose the proposed method. First, we suggest applying the algorithm of the detection of Color Space-Time Interest Points (CSTIP) on both components of the Color Structure - Texture Image Decomposition which is based on a Partial Differential Equation (PDE): a color geometric structure component and a color texture component. A descriptor is associated to each of these points. In a second stage, we address the problem of grouping the points (CSTIP) into clusters. Experiments and comparison to other motion detection methods on challenging sequences show the performance of the proposed method and its utility for video analysis. Experimental results are obtained from very different types of videos, namely sport videos and animation movies.","PeriodicalId":426557,"journal":{"name":"2015 Intelligent Systems and Computer Vision (ISCV)","volume":"35 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-03-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133496232","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Some problems in P&O method like oscillations around maximum power point (MPP), failure at rapidly irradiation changing, and low convergence rate will be overcome. An voltage step which displaces the operating voltage to proximity of MPP is estimated at each large and sudden change of irradiation by an LS-SVM model. In order to save the ease and simplicity of maximum power point tracking (MPPT) control, The LS-SVM model is constructed off-line with reduced number of training data. The proposed control is applied on a PV water pumping system, and validated through simulations.","PeriodicalId":426557,"journal":{"name":"2015 Intelligent Systems and Computer Vision (ISCV)","volume":"55 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-03-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129498362","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
