We present in this study an optimal H∞ tracking control without reaching phase combined with the Proportional Integral Derivative based on Power System Stabilizer (PID-PSS) optimized by Differential Evolution algorithm. To eliminate the tradeoffs between the H∞ tracking performance and the high gain at the control input, we have defined a new method based on the modified output tracking error by using the exponential function. The Differential Evolution algorithm is used in this study to find the optimal values of the three parameters (Kp, Ki, Kd) of (PID-PSS) and also used to tune the exponential function of the tracking error. The proposed approach is designed to eliminate completely the reaching phase and to enhance the stability and the dynamic response of the multi-machine power system. In order to test the effectiveness of the proposed method, the simulation results show the damping of the oscillations of the angle and angular speed with reduced overshoots and quick settling time.","PeriodicalId":426557,"journal":{"name":"2015 Intelligent Systems and Computer Vision (ISCV)","volume":"64 2-3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-05-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131445711","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

But this detection can be difficult when the environment is influenced by illumination and weather changes. In The goal to solve the problem of environmental illumination changes in the background model and to classify pixels of the current image as foreground or background, a new method of background subtraction is presented in this paper. Firstly, the spatial color information is used to generate the background of each color space (R, G, and B) of the sequence. The absolute difference is computed to subtracting the background before compute the binary image of the moving objects using a threshold. This threshold is also used to update the background at each new image. The experimental results demonstrate that our approach is effective and accurate for moving objects detection and the use of spatial color information was robust to environmental illumination change. The experimental results are also compared with the results of the background estimation algorithm with Σ-Δ (SD) and Motion detection with pyramid structure of background model (MDPS).","PeriodicalId":426557,"journal":{"name":"2015 Intelligent Systems and Computer Vision (ISCV)","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-03-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122289056","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The bands are taken in juxtaposed frequencies, but some of them are noisily measured or contain no information. For the classification, the selection of bands, affects significantly the results of classification, in fact, using a subset of relevant bands, these results can be better than those obtained using all bands, from which the need to reduce the dimensionality of the HSI. In this paper, a categorization of dimensionality reduction methods, according to the generation process, is presented. Furthermore, we reproduce an algorithm based on mutual information (MI) to reduce dimensionality by features selection and we introduce an algorithm using mutual information and homogeneity. Its users generate daily a huge volume of comments and reviews related to different aspects of their lives. In general, opinion mining/sentiment analysis refers to the task of identifying positive and negative opinions, emotions and evaluations related to an article, news, products, services, etc [1]. Arabic Opinion mining is conducted in this study using a dataset consisting of 625 Arabic reviews and comments collected from Trip Advisor website. We introduce a new mathematical approach to recognize author's opinion. As the weights computation is determining in the classification, we formulate first a linear program to maximize the distance between the considered classes, then we use these weights to calculate the label of each comment. A further post optimization is also treated to add other contributing descriptors in order to adjust the classification. The results which based on Support Vector Machines showed that the approach is the most influencing on opinion recognition.","PeriodicalId":426557,"journal":{"name":"2015 Intelligent Systems and Computer Vision (ISCV)","volume":"93 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-03-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116952046","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The letter \"R\" has been selected as the most common letters that children suffer from. In this paper we will explain the mechanism of the development and design of this database, which is divided into three sub databases: the first is for diagnosis of the disorder in a letter \"R\" when its position is in the beginning of the word and the second when it is in the middle of the word the last one when it is at end of the word, each sub database contains speech recordings for 60 children; 30 males and 30 females, each child repeats the voice disorder five times. In this approach, the object tracking system relies on the deterministic search of target, whose color content matches a reference histogram model. A simple RGB histogram-based color model is used to develop our observation system. Secondly and finally, we describe a new approach for moving object tracking with particle filter by shape information. Particle filtering has been proven very successful for non-Gaussian and non-linear estimation problems. In this approach we combine between particle filter and the probability product kernels as a similarity measure using integral image to compute the histograms of all possible target regions of object tracking in video sequence. The shape similarity between a target and estimated regions in the video sequence is measured by their normalized histogram. Target of object tracking is created instantly by selecting an object from the video sequence by a rectangle. Experimental results have been presented to show the effectiveness of our proposed system.","PeriodicalId":426557,"journal":{"name":"2015 Intelligent Systems and Computer Vision (ISCV)","volume":"88 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-03-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128983245","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Yet, there are still some issues that need to be addressed such as burst assembling, switching, scheduling, contention resolution and quality of service. Indeed, one of the major problems is to schedule efficiently bursts on wavelength channels without buffers, converters, or other additional equipment. In this paper, we propose the Neural Best Fit Void Filling Scheduler (NBFVFS) for optical burst switching, which is easy to implement using Adjustable MAXNET (AMAXNET) and runs in fixed time. This neural scheduler will contribute to this new emerging solution by providing a parallel, fast, flexible, adaptive, and intelligent process. In comparison with the existing schedulers, the proposed NBFVFS is more efficient both in terms of bandwidth usage as well as in terms of processing speed. NBFVFS gives a new algorithm which will exploit efficiently the existing voids in bandwidth, and thus, reduce loss burst, and better manage data contentions.","PeriodicalId":426557,"journal":{"name":"2015 Intelligent Systems and Computer Vision (ISCV)","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-03-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123173186","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
