However, it is challenging to handle poor illumination and indiscernible information. To tackle these problems, a saliency-guided domain adaptation network, SGDA, is proposed via adapting daytime models to nighttime scenes. Firstly, a saliency guidance branch is attached to the segmentation network to enrich the spatial features and guide the model to better perceive detail information. Secondly, to embed the saliency guidance to the segmentation network, a pyramid attention architecture is designed to fuse the features from the two branches. Thirdly, an illumination adaptation module is constructed to close the intensity distributions via adversarial learning, with an elaborately designed loss function to improve the performance. Extensive experiments on Dark Zurich dataset and Nighttime Driving dataset validate the effectiveness of SGDA, and indicate that our method improves the accuracy on small object categories,","PeriodicalId":426122,"journal":{"name":"2023 IEEE 6th International Conference on Industrial Cyber-Physical Systems (ICPS)","volume":"38 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123312990","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper studies the output tracking control problem for this kind of inverter system with unknown external disturbance. First, the mathematical model of the inverter system is established using Kirchhoff's voltage/current law. And an extended system is constructed based on the inverter model and disturbance. And then, an observer is designed to estimate unknown state variables and external disturbance in a fixed time. After that, an input-output linearization method and the observer variables are used to design a robust tracking controller, which ensures the output of inverter system to accurately track a desired trajectory. Finally, numerical examples demonstrate the validity of the presented theoretical results.","PeriodicalId":426122,"journal":{"name":"2023 IEEE 6th International Conference on Industrial Cyber-Physical Systems (ICPS)","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128349986","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

By using this method, the influence of different outdoor temperatures on energy consumption is eliminated, and the energy consumption at the same outdoor temperature is obtained. The linear relationship between heating energy consumption and degree-days is obtained through the physical model of heating house. A standard linear regression can obtain reliable estimates of unknown model parameters. Energy consumption values of different heating methods under the same external environment are calculated. The effect of outdoor temperatures on energy consumption is rectified by using a reliable estimate of the relationship between energy consumption and heating degree-days. Proper maintenance and monitoring of the components over time can help industries to maintain a sustainable production environment. On the contrary, a faulty system may degrade production efficiency and increase the cost. Smart packaging machines comprising several sensors can generate time series data and leverage data driven condition monitoring models to overcome faulty conditions. In this work, we have studied the application of Autoencoder as a data driven condition monitoring tool for the predictive maintenance of packaging machines. The trained Autoencoder on the new system's data can detect worn or degraded components over time. We have also used the Bayesian optimization algorithm to tune the hyper-parameters of the Autoencoder for better predictive performance. Moreover, the reconstruction error is analyzed to identify the worn components in the packaging machine.","PeriodicalId":426122,"journal":{"name":"2023 IEEE 6th International Conference on Industrial Cyber-Physical Systems (ICPS)","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115778471","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the actual operation process, sensor failure, abnormal communication and equipment damage will bring a large number of abnormal values to the output data of photovoltaic power plants. It will have a significant impact on a variety of applications based on photovoltaic output data. This paper analyzes the typical outliers on the irradiance-power curve and proposes a photovoltaic output data cleaning method based on fuzzy clustering algorithm and quartile algorithm. By comparing with the quartile method, it is proved that this method can effectively identify abnormal data when there are a large number of outliers in the photovoltaic output data.","PeriodicalId":426122,"journal":{"name":"2023 IEEE 6th International Conference on Industrial Cyber-Physical Systems (ICPS)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131081172","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A fuzzy hierarchical analysis model considering the influence of multiple physical quantities is proposed to detect and evaluate the power line communication channel quality. The theoretical model of power line transmission is integrated with the factors affecting the power lines communication channel, such as the channel nodes, the transmission distance, and the grid load, to evaluate the influence of different physical quantity parameters on channel quality. The fuzzy consistency matrix is used to calculate the fuzzy importance of the events at the bottom of the fault tree and then select the preferred response plan for the channel quality to achieve the channel quality fault detection and early warning. The method can quantify and visualize the influence of different physical quantities on the channel quality via the radar diagram, which can be used to select the solution for the channel of unknown quality and rank the factors according to their weights. Therefore, the scope of grid fault investigation can be reduced and the time and material resources for fault investigation can be saved.","PeriodicalId":426122,"journal":{"name":"2023 IEEE 6th International Conference on Industrial Cyber-Physical Systems (ICPS)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124427867","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development issued a report that the application of robots will have a negative effect on employment in the future. As a developing country, China has become the largest industrial robot market in the world. Whether the economic impact of industrial robot application is different from that of developed countries, and how to effectively cope with the possible employment impact is worth discussing. This paper points out that the application of industrial robots has both creation and substitution effects on employment, and empirically studies the impact of the application of industrial robots on the overall employment level of the manufacturing industry and the difference of the impact on high-skilled and low-skilled jobs from the industry perspective using the data of 13 sub-sectors of manufacturing industry segments from the year 2013 to 2019. The results of this paper show that the creation effect of industrial robot applications on manufacturing employment is greater than the substitution effect. This suggests that the application of industrial robots promotes overall employment demand. Furthermore, the application of industrial robots has a positive impact on the employment demand for high-skilled jobs while simultaneously having a negative impact on the employment demand for low-skilled jobs. The impact on low-skilled personnel is particularly pronounced at this stage. This paper will help to further understand the impact of industrial robot application on employment, and provide suggestions for developing countries to promote the innovation and upgrading of manufacturing industry and actively respond to the impact of the elimination faced by low-skilled workers.","PeriodicalId":426122,"journal":{"name":"2023 IEEE 6th International Conference on Industrial Cyber-Physical Systems (ICPS)","volume":"470 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123662535","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the control design, a smooth function is integrated into backstepping construction, which can achieve asymptotic convergence. The neural networks are borrowed to approximate the lumped nonlinear functions encompassing the unknown dynamics. It can be proved that the tracking errors of ASV can asymptotically converge to zero and all signals of the ASV closed-loop system are bounded.
