In addition, the paper presents a service-oriented architecture for the realization of the proposed framework which can provide activity context-aware services in a scalable distributed manner. The provision of web services with the same functionality gives rise to a need for implementation of more precise web service selection procedures. The paper introduces a new approach for web service selection that takes into account the web services' varying behavior defined by their constantly changing QoS properties as well as the ambiguous clients' QoS requirements. These uncertainties are formalized using respectively the probability theory and the theory of fuzzy sets. Indeed, managing business processes in a modern fashion may increase their quality. An effective solution consists in reusing specific fragments of existing business processes. Moreover, the produced fragments need to be declared as safe from a privacy perspective.\u0000 This paper presents a design-time approach to decomposing existing business processes. This approach provides ready-for-reuse and privacy-aware fragments that are conform to given semantics specifications. In addition to message routing, the ESB communication abstraction includes filtering and transformation capabilities that enable composing separate software modules quickly, with minimal code changes. For this reason, this richer communication capability is often termed \"mediation\".\u0000 Mediation is an important tool used in systems built by aggregating many components together, and it is considered to be a key element of SOA. Typically, each message mediated by an ESB undergoes several parse and copy operations thereby incurring a severe performance penalty.\u0000 This paper presents several optimizations to ESB design that enable lower-overhead message mediation by reducing processing requirements, eliminating buffer copies, and facilitating network-level data transfers. To cope with these issues, we propose a novel image-text fusion CAPTCHA model which uses a single image augmented with text hints that helps the users to guess the answers of the CAPTCHA problems more conveniently. Recently, network storage architectures such as network attached storage (NAS) are emerged as shared, adaptable and high-performance web storage systems for data intensive distributed applications. NAS provides filelevel data storage services to the attached heterogeneous group of clients. Efficient implementations of NAS can have a significant impact on the overall network performance and its workload. In this paper, we have proposed a simulation model integrating NS-2 and Matlab/Simulink to evaluate the performance of NAS workload and its underlying network. NS-2 works as a master simulator, and it is utilized to model and simulate the data transfer over the distributed network. Matlab/Simulink is utilized to model and simulate the data process within the web storage systems. The performance of web storage system is evaluated through the average response time of the clients' requests of the data network before and after implementing NAS. Not every organization has the same project management guidelines or possesses project management knowledge. We propose that today's market structure and technological development open possibility for offering project management as a service in different forms. Companies specialized in project management may manage a project for the benefits of other party, using client's technical knowledge and principles of work. Companies that want to manage their projects internally need project management training service and software solution with certain functionalities and characteristics. The solution must follow the company policies in regard to resources, time and cost management, collaboration etc. Due to companies' specifics, it is highly unlikely that an off-the-shelf solution is applicable in every organization. These documents refer domain entities such as persons, places, professional positions, decisions, actions, etc. Querying these documents (instead of browsing, searching and finding) is a very relevant task for any person in general, and particularly for professionals dealing with intensive knowledge tasks. Querying text-based documents' data, however, is not supported by common technology. For that, such documents' content has to be explicitly and formally captured into knowledge base facts. Making use of automatic NLP processes for capturing such facts is a common approach, but their relatively low precision and recall give rise to data quality problems. Further, facts existing in the documents are often insufficient to answer complex queries and, therefore, it is often necessary to enrich the captured facts with facts from third-party repositories (e.g. public LOD, private IS databases). This paper describes the adopted process to identify what data is currently missing from the knowledge base repository and which is desirable to collect from external repositories. Especially, when mobile devices are used to collect and process data, a lightweight, flexible, and portable approach is needed to ensure that digital forms can be provided on a variety of smart phones and tablets.\u0000 In this paper, we describe a lightweight approach to flexible generation of digital forms. The presented approach relies on standard Web technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. These technologies are enhanced by a new Form Description Language (FDL) that is used to define the structure of forms. The supported elements of FDL are based on HTML user interface elements to ensure portability across different Web browsers. Moreover, the FDL-based form descriptions utilize JSON as foundation. Thus, the size of the forms can be considerably decreased.
