Therefore, sentiment analysis has attracted a lot of attentions. Currently, sentiment analysis applications are divided into two main approaches, the lexicon-based approach and the machine-learning approach. However, both of them face the challenge of obtaining a large amount of human-labeled training data and corpus. For the lexicon-based approach, it requires a sentiment lexicon to determine the opinion polarity. There are many existing benchmark sentiment lexicons, but they cannot cover all the domain-specific words meanings. Thus, automatic generation of a domain-specific sentiment lexicon becomes an important task. We propose a framework to automatically generate sentiment lexicon. First, we determine the semantic similarity between two words in the entire unlabeled corpus. We treat the words as nodes and similarities as weighted edges to construct word graphs. A graph-based semi-supervised label propagation method finally assigns the polarity to unlabeled words through the proposed propagation process. Experiments conducted on the microblog data, Twitter, show that our approach leads to a better performance than baseline approaches and general-purpose sentiment dictionaries.","PeriodicalId":424918,"journal":{"name":"International Conference on Information Integration and Web-based Applications & Services","volume":"104 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-12-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133791315","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Due to the lack of sharing programming model and interface also the porting of application among clouds requires in most case the rewriting of the whole application according to the new provider interface and programming model. The growing number of cloud providers that deploy their offers led to increase more and more the need to automate some discovery mechanisms and alignment facilities. In this paper a possible solution to the above stated problem is proposed through the application of semantic and matchmaking technologies. In particular we want to describe the Dynamic Discovery and Mapping prototype, developed within the EU funded mOSAIC project (http://www.mosaic-cloud.eu), to provide the discovery of new Cloud services (dynamically) deployed by providers. The Dynamic Discovery and Mapping Service' target is to discover Cloud providers' functionalities and resources, compare and align to other provider or agnostic API, thus supporting agnostic and interoperable access to Cloud providers' offers.","PeriodicalId":424918,"journal":{"name":"International Conference on Information Integration and Web-based Applications & Services","volume":"19 6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-12-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115090120","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The modeling approach processes a socio-centric user-set as the users are directly (friend) or indirectly (friend-of-friend) related to a seed (target) user, which makes it easier to identify social ties between users as compared to random sampling from a set of diverse OSN users. For a given user, interaction data up to two levels is modeled and analyzed to generate a user-centric social network. Eleven different features related to Facebook have been identified to calculate the strength of social ties between users. LSM is used to visualize relationships in user-centric historical data and to estimate the probability of social ties between OSN users. The users are plotted using LSM in a three-dimensional (3D) social space around a seed user, and a link probability function is devised to calculate the probability of link between any two users with respect to the persona of the seed user. A sphere of influence around each user demarcating its active influence area is also identified and discussed in this paper.","PeriodicalId":424918,"journal":{"name":"International Conference on Information Integration and Web-based Applications & Services","volume":"224 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-12-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114428448","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, only a small percentage of applications is static and remains unchanged since its first deployment. Most of the applications change with newly coming user requirements and changing environment. In this paper we describe a framework and a methodology for management of evolution and change propagation throughout XML applications. We also introduce its proof-of-concept implementation called eXolutio, which has been developed and improved in our research group during last few years. We also provide an evaluation of the methodology in the domain of electronic health.","PeriodicalId":424918,"journal":{"name":"International Conference on Information Integration and Web-based Applications & Services","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-12-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115107765","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A mobile agent is designed and implemented like a human, and mobile agents work together by interactions among them like a human community. Thus, a mobile agent technology is helpful when we develop distributed systems with an easy-to-understand design and implementations for humans. Many researchers have proposed various applications through mobile agent technologies. However, mobile agent technologies are not used much as compared to other networking or programming technologies in the real world because migrations of mobile agents make it difficult to debug the system. This paper discusses problems of mobile agents for debugging, and proposes a remote debugger in order to solve these problems. Our proposed remote debugger supports functions of searching, single stepping execution, breaking, and viewing variables for a mobile agent who behaves with migrations on a running system.","PeriodicalId":424918,"journal":{"name":"International Conference on Information Integration and Web-based Applications & Services","volume":"71 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-12-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123809348","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, first the framework is specified in term of a multidimensional data model and designed by using UML (Unified Modeling Language). The designed diagram also presents different related models as well as the interactive linkings among them. In this context, an instance of just-defined multi-model framework of well-established sectoral models, namely EC4MACS, has been developed to produce a comprehensive assessment of the likely development of future air quality and greenhouse gas emissions in Europe. The extracted-transformed-linked and published EC4MACS key data are represented in this paper in term of case studies.","PeriodicalId":424918,"journal":{"name":"International Conference on Information Integration and Web-based Applications & Services","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-12-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129392409","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The difficulty with Web identity resolution is that there is no uniform Web identity scheme and current Web identity schemes decouple Web identities and Web locations. To address this problem for WebRTC without introducing a central authority, we present a secure personal Web identity resolution framework, mirror presence, to dynamically map a user's Web identity to Web locations while the user can move between Web locations. The system is agnostic to Web identity schemes, and it consists of 3 layers of Web protocols and services: 1) bilateral authorization based on OAuth 2.0; 2) Web identity binding based on presence subscription and notification; 3) presence driven call routing and pickup protocols. Each layer of the system can be controlled by users based on security, privacy, and personal preferences. A prototype mirror presence system has been implemented, and experimental results indicated that the approach is feasible and the performance is satisfactory.","PeriodicalId":424918,"journal":{"name":"International Conference on Information Integration and Web-based Applications & Services","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-12-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124127354","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this context, organizations tend to rely more on business process management (BPM) to streamline their operations. The business process field is influenced by a wide range of temporal constraints which rise from legal, regulatory, and managerial rules. One of the most promising standards for business process modeling, namely the Business process Model and notation BPMN poorly addresses the time dimension so far. In this paper, we elaborate an extension to BPMN 2.0 to handle the time dimension. The aim of this BPMN extensions is to support business analysts and modellers in easily including the needed temporal constraints in their processes. We motivate and justify our proposed extensions by means of illustrative case studies. Furthermore, based on the proposed extensions, a verification approach based on the model checking technique is used to diagnose potential temporal violations of the process model. The work presented in this paper sets foundation for later automation of these constraints through process execution engines.","PeriodicalId":424918,"journal":{"name":"International Conference on Information Integration and Web-based Applications & Services","volume":"276 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-12-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127826783","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

At the client side we make extensive use of augmented browsing technology to accommodate various language education approaches with an emphasis on incidental language learning. Though our system architecture is designed in a generic and language-independent way, we built our first use cases for Japanese due to the inherent challenges in studying this complex language. Based on first valuable feedback from students and instructors we have concentrated our recent development efforts on three important extensions: contextual Japanese character training, visualization of Japanese sentence structures, and personal vocabulary lists.","PeriodicalId":424918,"journal":{"name":"International Conference on Information Integration and Web-based Applications & Services","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-12-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128766297","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

They are especially useful and helpful for users in disaster situations. Microblogs have facilitated the spread of information of all kinds, even rumors. Rumors block adequate information sharing and cause severe problems. Several studies have analyzed rumors, but it remains unclear how rumors are spread on microblogging systems. As described in this paper, we present a case study of how rumors are spread on Twitter in a recent disaster situation, that of the Great East Japan earthquake in March 11 2011, based on comparison to a normal situation. We also specifically examine the correction of rumors because automatic extraction of rumors is difficult, but extracting rumor-correction is easier than extracting the rumors themselves. We (1) classify tweets in disaster situations, (2) analyze tweets in disaster situations based on user's impression, and (3) compare the spread of rumor tweets in a disaster situation to that in a normal situation.\u0000 A category with only the three required fields","PeriodicalId":424918,"journal":{"name":"International Conference on Information Integration and Web-based Applications & Services","volume":"41 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-12-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116603197","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
