Descentralización en ningún caso significa transferir y olvidarse, sino que cualquier proceso en este sentido necesita de un sistema de coordinación entre todos aquellos actores con implicación en la materia, adecuado al territorio y al contexto, ya que si no puede generar efectos negativos. En el presente texto recogemos algunos de los que están afectando en mayor medida al modelo valenciano para el desarrollo local, así como algunos de sus posibles motivos.","PeriodicalId":42217,"journal":{"name":"OBETS-Revista de Ciencias Sociales","volume":"31 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.4,"publicationDate":"2020-06-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"87099073","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this sense, the political arena, favoured by the incorporation of co-development in public policies since 2002, facilitated the design of a framework with new opportunities for immigrant associations. As a result, many of them went through adaptation processes or even organizational hybridisation towards the conversion into NGDO. In this respect and in light of the results of a study about the state of development cooperation entities in Spain, we analyse and discuss whether these processes refer to the capacity for action on the part of immigrant associations, or, on the contrary, if they are framed in mere institutional adaptations facing the new political structure.","PeriodicalId":42217,"journal":{"name":"OBETS-Revista de Ciencias Sociales","volume":"15 1","pages":"105-136"},"PeriodicalIF":0.4,"publicationDate":"2020-06-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"46561288","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The purpose of this article is to understand how social media serves as a link in between Mexicans living in Barcelona, Spain and their homeland, and how these migrants use the virtual spaces not only to share real-world information to improve their daily lives in Spain, but to preserve their cultural identity. Fieldwork consisted in 17 “in situ” semi-structured interviews to Mexicans living in Barcelona, whose ages are between 21- and 60-years during June and July of 2016. Subjects were contacted through a Facebook Group named “Mexicanos en Barcelona” (Mexicans in Barcelona) that has more than 5,000 members. This group is conformed not only by Mexicans living in Barcelona, but it also includes Mexicans in Mexico with the interest of studying, touring or working in the city.","PeriodicalId":42217,"journal":{"name":"OBETS-Revista de Ciencias Sociales","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.4,"publicationDate":"2020-06-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"89161133","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study exposes the main works in Communication Sciences on the behavior of media in this conflict, and bases its empirical section on 22 in-depth interviews with Basque media managers. The witnesses indicate that the media were actors in the conflict, transferred simplified and polarized views of reality, and were victims of violence. As a final thought, it is inferred that the media practiced War Journalism.","PeriodicalId":42217,"journal":{"name":"OBETS-Revista de Ciencias Sociales","volume":"15 1","pages":"159-188"},"PeriodicalIF":0.4,"publicationDate":"2020-06-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"43143862","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Based on microdata from the 2010 Mexican census, we used descriptive statistics and random-effect logistic models for this analysis. Children of single, separated or cohabiting mothers have lower preschool enrolment rates than children of married mothers. However, for children of highly-educated mothers, these disadvantages are slightly reduced, and reversed for children of divorced mothers, except for children of cohabiting mothers, whose lower preschool enrolment persist across social groups.","PeriodicalId":42217,"journal":{"name":"OBETS-Revista de Ciencias Sociales","volume":"75 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.4,"publicationDate":"2019-12-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"80519069","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Conceived in the MIT at the beginning of this century, as project development environments with digital components have undergone spectacular growth in recent years. The FabLab movement, partly due to its youth and a certain distance from academic circuits as it is more related to the Maker culture and the Open-Source movement, has been little formally studied. The present work proposes an approach to this movement through the use of a mixed methodology that allows identifying the relevant dimensions in this movement and defining the research questions to be answered in subsequent investigations.","PeriodicalId":42217,"journal":{"name":"OBETS-Revista de Ciencias Sociales","volume":"14 1","pages":"373-406"},"PeriodicalIF":0.4,"publicationDate":"2019-12-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"46958063","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Law 15/2005 has had a special effect with regard to substantial modifications in legal procedings. Therefore, the main objective of the present work is to analyse its incidence on ruptures data. The latter group mature whilst assimilating these values, possibly fuelling the normalisation of control, dominance and subordination situations, supported by the social concept of romantic love (Blanco, 2014; Muniz et al., 2015; Donoso, Rubio & Vila, 2018). This article describes an analysis of how prevalent the myths of romantic love are amongst 168 young people, based on an adaptation of the romantic love questionnaire (Ferrer, Bosch & Navarro, 2010). The analysis focuses on the prevalence of each myth, as well as on whether there are significant differences, or not, between acceptance of these myths by gender, branch of study (education, administration and social) and level of qualifications (High School, Vocational Training and University Degree). The consolidation of certain romantic myths amongst young people has been observed. There is, therefore, a need to introduce solid co-education strategies from early childhood, work as a network across different areas (and in the media) and boost awareness campaigns that target society as a whole.","PeriodicalId":42217,"journal":{"name":"OBETS-Revista de Ciencias Sociales","volume":"14 1","pages":"343-371"},"PeriodicalIF":0.4,"publicationDate":"2019-12-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"44829054","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A representative online survey has been applied to 2800 Internet users. Quantitative, discriminative and segmentation analysis methodologies are used to identify the characteristics of those who virtualize interactions with their partners and how they value them. The results show that such virtualization is conditioned, not only by the variables of age and sex of the respondents, but by their occupation, education, habitat, marital status, and internet usage habits. All these factors operate interdependently. This finding tallows us to better understand the operation of the so-called “digital divide”.","PeriodicalId":42217,"journal":{"name":"OBETS-Revista de Ciencias Sociales","volume":"14 1","pages":"491-525"},"PeriodicalIF":0.4,"publicationDate":"2019-12-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45444027","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
