Social activity in society began to return to normal, including education. The purpose of this study is to determine the impact that post-pandemic education has on biology learning outcomes. In the study, Non equivalent control group design was used. There were 25 students in each of the two sample classes. The media for the experimental class is class XI IPA 3, which uses the Problem Based Learning Lift learning model. Instead, the control class uses conventional learning strategies XI Science 1. The written research instrument totals twenty multiple-choice questions. The T-test is performed after collection from the data. The findings show that the Lift The Flap Book media and the Problem Based Learning learning model affect students' biology learning success. Teachers can use the Problem Based Learning learning model.  A learning model to improve the biology learning outcomes of its students. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the kepok banana peel (Musa paradisiaca var. bluggoe L) as a liquid organic fertilizer on the growth of Pak Choy (Brassica rapa L). This research was conducted at the Green House PT. Floraterusbersemi, in East Jakarta from March–July 2022. The research method used is an experimental method with the research design using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD). This research was conducted by giving 6 treatments and 5 repetitions, where there were three parameters used, namely plant height, number of leaves, and plant wet weight. The treatment in question was P0 as (control) without giving kepok banana peel liquid organic fertilizer P1 = 10 ml, P2 = 25 ml, P3 = 50 ml, P4 = 75 ml, P5 = 100 ml kepok banana peel liquid organic fertilizer. Treatments are given once a week. The results of this study showed that the growth of Pak Choy plants in the P2 treatment had the most effect on plant height of 21.7 cm, the number of leaves 12.6 leaves, and wet weight of 17.62 g. Apis dorsata Binghami honeycomb contains secondary metabolites that have antidiabetic potential, including inhibiting the action of the α-amylase enzyme. The purpose of this study was to determine the in vitro antidiabetic potential of Apis dorsata binghami nest extract. This study uses a descriptive research method where the research data are obtained through laboratory experiments. Honeycomb extraction using maceration method. Analysis of total flavonoid content using UV-Vis spectrophotometric method. Antidiabetic potency test using -amylase enzyme inhibition method. The results of the extraction study showed that the % yield of the extract was 11.82% with a brownish yellow color. Analysis of the total flavonoid content showed the results of 3.33 mgQE/g. The inhibitory activity of the -amylase enzyme, the IC50 value of the extract obtained was 158.48±7.42 g/mL, the acarbose value was 165.96±7.08 g/mL. These results indicate that the extract of A.dorsata Binghami nest has hyperglycemic activity by inhibiting complex carbohydrate hydrolyzing enzymes such as inhibition of the -amylase enzyme which is better than acarbose because the IC50 value of the extract is smaller. If the IC50 value is smaller then the enzyme inhibition is stronger. For further research, it is recommended to use a more specific enzyme, namely the -glucosidase enzyme.","PeriodicalId":422054,"journal":{"name":"JURNAL PEMBELAJARAN DAN BIOLOGI NUKLEUS","volume":"256 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133338880","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research was conducted in the Laboratory of PMIPA, FKIP, Universitas Riau while total petroleum hydrocarbon (TPH) was measured in the solid residue in the Laboratory of the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering, ITB. This research was conducted in November 2019 – March 2020. The study was designed in a completely randomized design with 3 treatments and 3 replication groups. The media used are SMSS media with the addition of pH 6.5; pH 7.0; and pH 7.5, which was added with diesel fuel as much as 5% and bacterial isolates of Bacillus cereus strain IMB-11. The test parameter was the optical density (OD) of bacterial growth of Bacillus cereus Strain IMB-11 which was monitored using a spectrophotometer for 6 days and the measurement on the level of degradation or TPH diesel fuel using the Gravimetric method. The degradation process is carried out by decaying microbes by producing degrading enzymes. The presence of chitin content in shrimp waste causes the emergence of chitinase enzyme-producing bacteria. Chitin is a linear homopolymer composed of N-acetyl-D-glucosamine monomers with -(1,4) glycosidic bonds. Chitin has unique properties, namely; biodegradable, biocompatible and non-toxic. This causes chitin and its derivatives to be widely used in various industrial and biomedical applications so that chitin and its derivatives have great economic value. There were 10 isolates of chitinolytic bacteria from shrimp waste with varying morphological characteristics. The ten bacterial isolates were NR02, NR03, NR04, NR05, NR06, NR07, NR08, NR09, NR10, NR11 and PU01. Chitinolytic index CI value > 2 was produced by 4 bacterial isolates, namely; NR02, NR07, NR09 and PU01. The lowest IK value was generated by NR08 with a value of 0.01.
