Such systems have long been applied as abroad, and in Russia at small-scale and large industrial firms. The author describes how the main economic effect for a customer from the application of these systems is a reduction of payments for used energy, and for power enterprises is in a decrease of consumption peak and reduction of investments for escalating of peak generating powers.","PeriodicalId":421846,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 6th International Scientific and Practical Conference of Students, Post-graduates and Young Scientists. The problem of fatigue failure can also be studied within this concept. The present work pays main attention to the study of the fatigue failure processes occurring at structural levels of aluminium alloy from the level of a grain to the level of a specimen as a whole. This approach makes it possible to reveal some new features of material behavior under cyclic loading.","PeriodicalId":421846,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 6th International Scientific and Practical Conference of Students, Post-graduates and Young Scientists. Problems of using ionic melts for creation of high-temperature galvanic cells and converters are in study, but the R&D situation in this field allows to count on wide perspectives. The methods of such recovery used now are bound both to problems of an ecological nature, and to high power inputs. The search for optimum effective and safety technological solutions has led in particular to high-current electric beams (HCEB). A HCEB is provided by high performance of energy transformation both when generating the beam and when interacting. When fast particles of the beam brake the process of ionization, high-energy secondary electrons are generated. In turn, under thermalization form, new electrons generate rather a large number of epithermal electrons. At low ionicity of all nonequilibrium systems as a whole, the main mechanism of a recombination of free electrons apparently is the dissociative recombination, as a result of which recovery of clean metal takes place. The results of experiments confirm a principled capability of passing processes according to the described scheme. The performance of complex researches of influencing processes mechanism in a system \"HCEB-fluoride of metal\" will allow elaboration of theoretical and technological fundamentals of systems of beam chemical technology.","PeriodicalId":421846,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 6th International Scientific and Practical Conference of Students, Post-graduates and Young Scientists. In operational practice there is the rather a slow passing process (from several days up to tens day) and insignificance of effects of change of fuel scarifying (less than prompt criticality). It is necessary to note, that the radiation annealing of samarium is equivalent to input of a positive reactivity, and the increase of density of a neutron flux increases the role of effects of a poisoning with samarium and they can become predominant. These circumstances demand from the point of view of nuclear safety, more stringent consideration of behavior of samarium in these transient regimes. The paper reviews the mathematical formulation of the problem of poisoning a reactor with /sup 149/Sm.","PeriodicalId":421846,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 6th International Scientific and Practical Conference of Students, Post-graduates and Young Scientists. The problem is how to use the bladed UF/sub 6/. In the suggested method, bladed UF/sub 6/ is evaporated from steel capacitances and submitted in a gas phase to an electrolytic furnace under a layer of an electrolyte; UF/sub 6/ dissolves well in an offered electrolyte. The electrolyte is a melt of a low-melting eutectic of fluoride salts of alkaline and earth metals. The recovered uranium powder can be used as commodity outputs or stored as ingots.","PeriodicalId":421846,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 6th International Scientific and Practical Conference of Students, Post-graduates and Young Scientists. There is a peculiarity of low-voltage commutator machine: the auxiliary poles cannot be used because of the dimension limits. The author describes how these problems can be solved by the use of the so-called damped armature windings which possess higher switching ability. The characteristic feature of such armature windings is the high electromagnetic linking between all switching sections and the next (in order of switching) sections. At the same time, the winding section inductance value decreases because of splitting it to two coils and their placement in different slot pitches of the armature.","PeriodicalId":421846,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 6th International Scientific and Practical Conference of Students, Post-graduates and Young Scientists. In the given work the coatings titanium diboride-metallic bonding, overcoated by multilayer electron-beam fusing (EBF) on a substrate from steel 3 are investigated. SVS composite (TiB/sub 2/+Fe) and mixture of ligatures of a commercial production intended for creation of exothermal connection TiB/sub 2/ with different contents of bonding was used as a furnace. The grain-size composition of powders varied in the range of 100-250 microns. The estimation of structure of fusing was the definition of a phase structure and morphology of the main structural components with a microhardness testing.","PeriodicalId":421846,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 6th International Scientific and Practical Conference of Students, Post-graduates and Young Scientists.
