Abstract

At the moment the low-voltage commutator machines (LVCM) are widely used in domestic appliances (kitchen machine, electro-driven tools, vacuum cleaner). There is a peculiarity of low-voltage commutator machine: the auxiliary poles cannot be used because of the dimension limits. The author describes how these problems can be solved by the use of the so-called damped armature windings which possess higher switching ability.
