Also, it may cause a breaker to trip, transformers to overheat, or a loss increase in a capacitor smoothing rectifier, etc. Therefore, the aforementioned phenomenon needs to be well understood by both electrical system operators and end-users. Nowadays, there are more than one international standard that determines the measurement method and limit values of the voltage unbalance power quality parameter. Smart charging reservation systems considering EV drivers’ preferences can facilitate finding an available charging station as well as managing the charging load of EVs in a parking lot. In this study, a bi-level optimization model is defined for minimizing the parking price of EV users, maximizing the profit of EV parking lot (PL) operator and the last one minimizing total power losses of the distribution network. A smart charging reservation system is used to select the EVs which are accepted for giving charging service considering several parameters. This reservation system was generated using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) from Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) techniques. A PV system on the roof the PL is modelled to support the charging load of EVs at the PL. This will lead to higher electricity demand and different load patterns within the distribution system. Significant research has been done to establish the effect this will have on distribution systems, especially on residential networks. In this paper, the impact of this change in load is instead analysed on a test system of shared parking lots in a university campus facility. The test system used is a good representation of an energy community as it includes renewable energy sources (RES) and has a high amount of data available for the distribution system and loads. A novel model of EV user behaviour is established specific to the test case. Based on the high level of monitoring and the EV user behaviour model, an accurate assessment of the impact of EV charging is established. Based on the results, the test case distribution system will run into congestion and overloading with uncontrolled charging of the predicted levels of EV penetration in Ireland. In this paper, Cumulative Modified Multiscale Permutation Entropy (C-MMPE) feature is proposed to reflect the effective degradation trend of bearing. Modified Multiscale Permutation Entropy (MMPE) indicates the effective fluctuation in the signals signifying the presence of an incipient fault. Then, the cumulative effect of MMPE is carried out to show the increasing monotonic trend of bearing health indicators (HI). Finally, the exponential degradation model is performed on cumulative MMPE to predict the remaining useful life (RUL) of the bearing. They are different from conventional PVs which only use one side of the solar panel. In this work, a compression study of bPVs performance is conducted. More precisely, the study considers different reflecting grounds to the rear side of the bifacial panels, such as asphalt and reflective white painted ground. Different design parameters of the bifacial solar technology are investigated, such as installation height and albedo factor. The results show considerable improvement in bPV performance using the reflective white painted ground over other material, recording better albedo metric and increasing the power gain by around 20%. To solve this problem, a single-leader multi-follower Stackelberg game approach is performed. In the given approach, as a centralized coordinator, microgrid operator (MGO) conducts energy sharing between the prosumers, and therefore, is taken as the leader. Due to the mission of the leader, the MGO determines internal buying and selling prices in each time slot. Thus, the prosumers, which behave as followers, adjust their consumption values based on the pricing policy of the MGO. Accordingly, the MGO aims to optimize the energy sharing in the microgrid with the maximization of its profit while all prosumers act in their interests. To achieve this purpose, an optimal pricing model is given. The first generator is internal rotor and the second external rotor. The study of the wind profile at 50m from the ground in the area of Banikoara located in Alibori in the north of Benin shows that this site has a good wind potential. We have therefore chosen this area to size each of the two generators for an average wind speed of 6. 5m/s. The simulation of the inner and outer rotor generators obtained after sizing was done using the finite element method with the Altair F1ux_2D-2020 software. The curves of induction, electromagnetic torques, currents and also voltages obtained are presented and analyzed. Carbon capture and storage have been identified as the most effective technologies for reducing CO2 emissions while using fossil fuels to generate electricity. Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) defines a wide range of technologies being built to transfer CO2 releases from significant point sources of fossil fuel use to secure geological deposits instead of releasing them into the environment. This analysis revealed that CO2 capture technologies which include precombustion capture, post-combustion capture, and oxy-fuel capture, have the potential to substantially cut back the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Moreover, this study includes the technologies of CO2 capture with separation which includes the adsorption, absorption, membrane, microalgae, and cryogenic methods. It was observed that the area has the presence of natural disasters such as landslides and earthquakes, also the typology of hotel in the study site is scarce and is not suitable to the bioclimatic environment, causing that tourism in the study site is not properly supplied. A four-phase study was carried out that included a literature review and observation of the hotels in Canta, their typologies and infrastructure. A model was proposed in which bioclimatic strategies were applied such as the use of rammed earth in walls since it has physical, thermal, acoustic, structural and economic properties, as well as the use of solar panels for energy savings, louvers, patios for lighting and ventilation of spaces, sloping roofs to withstand rain and wind, all of which help us to obtain the comfort of the users in the project.
