Two buncher flasks, corks, a glass tube, and a calibrated conical flask comprised the biodigester setup. The setup involved anaerobic digestion processes, analyzing different ratios of cow dung and plantain peel to produce biogas. The main anaerobic digestion process was carried out in Buncher flask one, after which the methane gas formed was sent to Buncher flask two through a rubber tube, where the by-products such as carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide were absorbed from the methane gas and the refined biogas was stored in a storage tube. For this study, there were seven setups of cow dung and plantain peel in digester1, digester2, digester3, digester4, digester5, digester6, and digester7 in the ratios of 0g;100g(100%), 10g(10%): 90g(90%), 20g(20%): 80g(80%), 30g(30%): 70g(70%), 40g(40%): 60g(60%), and 50g (50%): 50g(50%), respectively. After 15 days of retention, the slurry with the highest yield is digester 1, with 574 ml/day. The obtained kinetic modeling indicates a rise in yield as the retention time increases. Furthermore, it was observed that continuous mixing boosted the biogas production yield. The results provided valuable insights into the potential for biogas production from agricultural and animal wastes through anaerobic digestion, highlighting the impact of functional groups on biogas yield.","PeriodicalId":421703,"journal":{"name":"British Journal of Multidisciplinary and Advanced Studies","volume":"124 39","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140680434","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It argues that since the 1998 nuclear test, India has developed a slightly different style of realistic foreign policy as a means to achieve its core interests. It is characterized by an emphasis on engagement with contemporary challenges such as neoliberal globalization, terrorism, the issue of disarmament, coping with the changing international order, the decline of multilateral institutions, and new regionalism, etc. To deal with all these issues, India adopted realistic pluralism to accelerate India's economic development and security interests, as well as enhance its status as an emerging power in the international system by continuously promoting its cherished values. This paper explains how a party with its rightist ideology occupies power at a time when Congress fails to deliver people's aspirations. It analyses the key arguments that have been presented in this framework and the way Bajpayee put them into practice. It concludes with the assessment of Bajpayee strategies and future prospects that it will deliver for Indian foreign policy. \u0000 ","PeriodicalId":421703,"journal":{"name":"British Journal of Multidisciplinary and Advanced Studies","volume":"19 3","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140086264","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These are classical test theory and item response theory. In this study, the author prove the applicability of the classical test theory to the assessment of the quality of multiple- choice junior secondary mathematics test items. Fifty multiple –choice general mathematics test items were administered to four hundred (400) students randomly selected from twenty (20) Junior Secondary schools three (JSS III) students. Ten (10) schools each were purposively selected from private and public schools in Ado local government area of Ekiti state, Nigeria. Three general questions were generated and answered, while two hypotheses were formulated and tested using t-test statistic at 0.05 level significant. Results showed that, out of the 50 items in the test on the basis of difficulty parameter, five (5) items (10%) failed to meet the set criteria for item qualify while on the basis of item discriminating index five items were of poor quality. However, 45 items based on the established standards were considered ‘good’ items. Finally on the basic of performance, there was no significant differences between students in private and public schools, and also between male and female students from the twenty schools considered for this study which led to the upholding of the two hypotheses formulated for the study at p < 0.0.5. It is recommended that, general mathematics papers, that are to be used to examine students’ learning outcomes in Junior School Certificate Examination should be properly validated.  ","PeriodicalId":421703,"journal":{"name":"British Journal of Multidisciplinary and Advanced Studies","volume":" May","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140092737","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The purpose of this descriptive correlational study was to determine the influence of the kindergartners’ fine motor skills on their reading and numeracy skills. The study involved 54 kindergartners who were enrolled in a private school in Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines in the School Year 2022-2023. A checklist from Early Childhood was used to assess the fine motor skills of the kindergartners. A researcher-made instrument was also crafted to assess their numeracy. Frequency, mean, percentage, standard deviation and regression analysis were employed to analyse the collected data. The results revealed that the kindergartners’ fine motor skills need improvement, while the numeracy skills were good. Fine motor skills significantly influence the kindergartners’ numeracy skills indicating that kindergartners with better fine motor skills more likely exhibit good performance on their numeracy skills. The findings suggest that kindergartners have to progress and comprehend numerical concepts. Based on the result of the study, it is recommended that kindergarten teachers may provide remedial instruction or any intervention to assist kindergartners who perform poorly in numeracy skills.","PeriodicalId":421703,"journal":{"name":"British Journal of Multidisciplinary and Advanced Studies","volume":"100 18","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140086650","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Two research questions guided the study and one hypothesis was tested at 0.05 level of significance. The descriptive survey research design guided the study. The population of the study comprised 5396 (5,133 teachers and 263 principals) in 263 public secondary schools in six Education Zones in Anambra State. A total of 579 respondents (513 teachers and 66 principals) were drawn through proportionate stratified and simple random sampling technique for the study. Two validated structured questionnaires were used as a instrument for data collection. The application of Cronbach Alpha reliability coefficient yielded coefficient values of 0.81 for teachers’ professional development and 0.77 for quality in secondary education for the two instruments respectively with an overall coefficient value of 0.79 for internal consistency of the instrument. Mean, standard deviations and t-test were used for data analysis. The findings of the study revealed that engaging secondary school teachers in ongoing training workshops target at improving subject knowledge; establishing mentorship programmes for experienced and less experienced teachers so as to provide guidance and providing teachers with adequate time to study new techniques to improve their practice are TPD strategies for enhancing the quality of secondary education in Nigeria. The findings also show that dysfunctional school cultures, poor leadership commitment towards providing quality in secondary education, poor funding and lack of a shared vision about what high-quality instruction entails are some of the obstacles to professional development of teachers. Further findings revealed that teachers’ professional development significantly enhances the quality of secondary education in Nigeria. The researchers therefore recommended among others that Government at all levels through the ministries of education should draw up a policy framework for teachers’ professional development in secondary schools in Nigeria.","PeriodicalId":421703,"journal":{"name":"British Journal of Multidisciplinary and Advanced Studies","volume":"54 8","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140087288","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
