The paper tries to accurately classify motor imagery imagination tasks, e.g., left and right hand movement. The paper utilises different methods for such classification including: (1) adaptive neuro fuzzy inference system (ANFIS); (2) K-nearest neighbour (KNN); (3) linear discriminant analysis (LDA) and (4) interval Type-2 fuzzy system (IT2-FS) classifiers. In addition, with ANFIS approach, different clustering methods are examined such as Subtractive clustering, fuzzy C-means clustering and K-means clustering. At the same time, subtractiveType-2 clustering is applied to the received signals. The paper focuses on three different features which are AR coefficients, Band Power Frequency, and common spatial pattern (CSP). In this type of assignment problem, there are k different tasks to be accomplished and a number of workers/groups. Any worker/group can do any job, with some given profit. The problem is to assign the jobs to workers/groups with the aim of maximising the profit of assignments. This paper presents a novel discrete population-based algorithm, discrete invasive weed optimisation (DIWO) to solve MWTMP. This algorithm is a stochastic numerical algorithm and inspired by weed colonisation trying to find suitable place for growth and reproduction. The performance of the proposed method is examined over benchmarks from the literature and compared to the best algorithm introduced before. The fusion was made possible by the Bayesian model averaging technique, which was used to obtain a combined forecast from the two separate methods, that is, the cascade forward backpropagation neural network method and the quadratic regression method. The model resulting from the fusion was applied on the difference series. The results indicate that the combined forecast have better forecasting performance greater than the standalone methods on the difference series based on the mean square error sense. Most of the work published earlier on variable neighbourhood search VNS starts from the first neighbourhood and moves on to higher neighbourhoods without controlling and adapting the ordering of neighbourhood structures. The order in which the neighbourhood structures have been proposed during the search process in this work enables the genetic algorithm with a better mechanism for performing diversification and intensification. A set of benchmark problem instances is used to compare the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm against the standard genetic algorithm. This intricate challenge enforces researchers to develop more proficient phishing detection approaches that incorporate hybrid features, machine learning classifiers, and feature selection methods. However, these detection approaches remain incompetent in classification performance over the vast web. This is attributed to the limited selection of the best features from the massive number of hybrid ones, and to the variant outcomes of applied feature selection methods in the realistic condition. In this topic, this paper surveys prominent researches, highlights their limitations, and emphasises on how they could be improved to escalate detection performance. Modern heuristic optimisation techniques such as the gravitational search algorithm GSA, particle swarm optimisation and differential evolution algorithm are employed for the purposed system to find out the optimal controller parameters. The performance of these optimisation techniques have been compared and analysed. The performance of the designed controllers has been evaluated under different disturbances and load parameters for both single and multi-machine power system. The effectiveness and robustness of the proposed controller are verified by changing the load parameters of voltage-dependent loads and type of disturbance. It is observed that when constant impedance load is considered in the proposed test systems, the stability of the power system is better when compared with that with constant power and constant current loads.","PeriodicalId":420808,"journal":{"name":"Int. The goal is to obtain an optimal web service composition by combining existing ones. In this paper two optimisation methods are proposed to design the best composition, a multi-objective quantum inspired Cuckoo search algorithm and a multi-objective bat inspired algorithm. The particularity of the approach is that the composition solution is gradually built using one of the two algorithms starting from the user request. Another particularity is that two optimisation criteria are considered, the quality of service and the semantic distance. The multi-criteria selection is handled by considering the Pareto front which ensures that no criteria can be improved without degrading another one. A prototype has been realised and applied to a text translation case study. The proposed DSS model continuously acquires real-time soil and environmental data using Zigbee wireless sensor network WSN with WiFi gateway developed during this work. The collected data are used to predict hourly soil moisture content MC variation and required evapotranspiration to control farm irrigation by utilising fuzzy logic-based weather model. A comparative analysis of soil MC variations is also performed by calculating root mean square error RMSE, R-squared error RSE, mean squared error MSE, ratio of performance to deviation RPD and algorithm running time. We refer to this approach as scalable fault models. We check the effectiveness of our approach using 3 kVA and 5 kVA synchronous generators to emulate the behaviour of SWM and actual system, respectively. We linearise the features from the SWM and actual system in a higher-dimensional space using locality constrained linear coding LLC to make them linearly separable. Subsequently, the system-independent features are selected using principal component analysis PCA to make the fault models robust across the systems. Support vector machine SVM is used as a back-end classifier. Experiments and results show that proposed LLC-PCA system outperforms the baseline system.","PeriodicalId":420808,"journal":{"name":"Int. Considering the uncertainty of much basic information in hazardous materials transport system, this paper proposes the multi-objective chance-constrained programming model for hazardous materials transport network under uncertainty optimisation theory framework. Then, the paper builds the multi-objective hybrid intelligent algorithm to solve the model. The algorithm applies the stochastic simulation and fuzzy simulation to simulate uncertain parameters, adopts the priority coding way to code chromosome, applies the chromosome marker selection strategy to complete the selection operation, adopts the priority index crossover operator to ensure offspring's inheritance and advantages for the parent, uses the single parent vicinal swap method to complete mutation and applies the exclusive method to build dominating sets.
