It catalyzes boosting productivity and promoting technological advancements. There is a clear positive relationship between education levels and stages of economic growth. As the population's education level improves, it opens up and expands various sectors of the economy, including secondary, tertiary, and quaternary sectors, leading to increased job opportunities and contributing to the overall size of the country's gross domestic product. Qualitative research methods were employed in this study to uncover the impact of education on economic development, with a specific focus on the agriculture, manufacturing, and earnings sectors. The study explored the intricate connections between education and these sectors through document analysis, and observations. The findings highlighted the transformative power of education in driving sustainable and inclusive economic progress. Education also plays a pivotal role in uplifting agricultural and industrial productivity by adopting modern inputs and technology, resulting in higher wages for the workforce. Educated individuals tend to earn more, invest in their family's well-being and healthcare, and enjoy longer lives, thereby fostering societal development. This paper contributes to the existing body of knowledge by comprehensively understanding how education influences economic development, particularly in the agriculture, manufacturing, and earnings sectors. It begins by emphasizing the fundamental belief in Allah's Oneness and Supreme nature and the purpose of human beings as servants to serve Allah. The relationship between God and humans is based on followership, with every individual considered a unique creation with an exclusive bond to Allah (sbt) as the only true leader. The article highlights the idea of equality in Islamic thought, where individuals are seen as equals but undergo trials to test their characters and facilitate personal growth. It further discusses how individuals striving for virtuous Knowledge can attain positions of respect and recognition, emphasizing that leadership is determined by the extent to which individuals realize their latent potentialities. The article also explores the dialectical approach, which harmonizes seemingly contradictory notions and prevents the fragmentation of self, thought, values, and norms. It emphasizes the Importance of learning from divergent opinions and acknowledges the constant need for assessing and reformulating theory and practice. The concept of education is deeply rooted in the Islamic worldview, encompassing the holistic developmental progression of individuals based on their Knowledge and understanding of creation. The article concludes by asserting that leadership in the Islamic worldview involves actively witnessing faith in action and integrating secular and divine Knowledge. It highlights the dialogical-dialectical process through which educational leaders guide their followers towards continual self-development. Despite the fact that portrayals of Islamic educational institutions, such as madrasas, as legacies of medieval antiquity are still popular in public discourse, numerous historians, philosophers, and scholars have debated this concept over the years. This research is a comparative study to explore the modern Islamic educational reform in Islamic higher education in Tunisia and Indonesia. As well as its contribution to development. The purpose of this study is to answer what are the explorations of educational reform in Indonesia and Tunisia's higher education? What is both countries' contribution to the development of Islamic education? The study was conducted using a qualitative method with an historical approach. The historical books of colonialism in Indonesia and Tunisia were used to collect data for the exploration of Islamic educational reform in Islamic higher education. Data also includes journals, articles, books, news, and international data that are relevant to the theme. The findings of the study show that modern reform is impacted by the colonial system in Indonesia, which allowed faith-based schools to take control of the schools. Islamic higher education in Indonesia is growing with modern ideas and has a dualistic system. While in Tunisia, of the French colonial type, they tried to get rid of all Islamic education because many Islamic higher education or madrasas were gotten rid of. As a result, following the end of colonialism, Islamic higher education in Tunisia now consists of just one and only Zaitunah University as part of Islamic civilization. This paper expects that by providing insight into colonial-era transformations, current and future generations of educators will recognize their significance and help to reintegrate an Islamic worldview, epistemology, and ethics into higher education development.","PeriodicalId":420770,"journal":{"name":"Khazanah Pendidikan Islam","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127721340","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
