Tanto en la normativa que regula actualmente la ensenanza universitaria como en el Estatuto del Estudiante Universitario, se recoge la necesidad de que los centros universitarios cuenten con programas de orientacion y apoyo a los estudiantes, para facilitar su integracion a la vida universitaria y conseguir sus objetivos academicos. Asimismo, en las comisiones de curso de las distintas titulaciones se viene reclamando la necesidad de mejorar la informacion al alumnado acerca de distintos aspectos relacionados con su proceso formativo. Para responder a estas necesidades, en la Facultad de Educacion de la Universidad de La Laguna se ha desarrollado a lo largo del curso 2017-2018 un proyecto institucional para mejorar la orientacion academica y profesional, con actividades dirigidas a los estudiantes de todos los cursos y titulaciones. A nivel organizativo, se ha llevado a cabo una planificacion de actividades secuenciadas, distribuidas a lo largo de los dos cuatrimestres. En el desarrollo del proyecto han participado profesores y profesoras de diversos Departamentos que imparten docencia en la Facultad. El nivel de participacion y satisfaccion del alumnado en las distintas actividades ha sido alto, considerando que les ha servido para obtener mas informacion sobre los grados que se imparten en la Facultad, las practicas externas, las menciones e itinerarios, la planificacion del estudio, los programas de movilidad, la preparacion del futuro profesional y el emprendimiento. EnglishAn important area of attention in university education, closely linked to quality management, has to do with the orientation and information processes for students. Both in the regulations currently regulating university education and in the Statute for University Students, the need for university centers to have programs of guidance and support for students, to facilitate their integration into university life and achieve their objectives, is included. Likewise, in the course commissions of the different degrees there is a need to improve the information to students about different aspects related to their training process. To respond to these needs, the School of Education of the University of La Laguna has developed an institutional project throughout the academic year 2017-2018 to improve academic and professional guidance, with activities aimed at students of all courses and degrees. At the organizational level, a planning of sequenced activities has been carried out, distributed throughout the two quarters. In the development of the project have participated professors from different Departments that teach in the Faculty. Para alacanzar el objetivo, se selecciona una muestra de 312 estudiantes matriculados en las asignaturas «Administracion de Empresas», «Sistema Fiscal. Imposicion Directa», «Sistemas de Informacion para la Direccion» e «Investigacion Comercial». Los datos se recogen mediante un cuestionario donde se presentan las aplicaciones de la Web 2.0 y se analizan aplicando el Modelo de Rasch. Los resultados muestran que el EPAA 2.0 se integra principalmente por aplicaciones que ayudan a organizar, crear y editar contenidos, acceder a la informacion y, compartir la informacion y los conocimientos. Ademas, senalar como hecho relevante las diferencias de genero a la hora de construir entornos de aprendizaje online. EnglishThis work proposes a proposal of Personal Autonomous Learning Environment 2.0 (PALE 2.0) that will help students Degree in Business Administration and Management in their learning process. To achieve the objective, a sample of 312 students enrolled in the subjects «Business Administration», «Fiscal System. Direct Taxation», «Information Systems Direction» and «Business Research». Data are collected through a questionnaire where Web 2.0 applications are presented and analyzed using the Rasch Model. The results show that APLE 2.0 is mainly integrated by applications that help to organize, create and edit content, access information and share information and knowledge. En el presente trabajo se ha definido un nuevo indicador de este rendimiento y se han determinado, para cada uno de los grados en Ciencias de la ULL, aquellos indicadores de rendimiento previo con los que se encuentra mas correlacionado el indicador introducido. Se han obtenido asi sendos modelos de regresion lineal multivariante que permiten predecir el rendimiento de un estudiante de nuevo ingreso en el primer cuatrimestre del primer curso de cada grado en funcion de su rendimiento en Bachillerato y PAU. En todos los grados de Ciencias, la variable predictora dominante ha resultado ser la nota media de Bachillerato. La bondad de ajuste de los modelos que utilizan el nuevo indicador supera ampliamente la de otros modelos preexistentes en la literatura. El metodo es extensible a cualquier grado y universidad. Su aplicacion sistematica permitiria definir y detectar perfiles de riesgo academico con el proposito de contribuir, por una parte, a que cada estudiante adopte una actitud proactiva hacia la subsanacion de sus posibles deficiencias formativas y, por otra, a que el gestor universitario optimice los recursos humanos y materiales necesarios para mejorar el aprovechamiento academico de los estudiantes en situacion de riesgo. EnglishSeveral educational investigations have shown that the academic performance in the first year of university affects the success in subsequent years, which justifies the interest of analyzing the performance, during the first year, of new students in order to identify the factors that influence it. In the present work, a new indicator of this performance has been defined and those indicators of previous performance which are best correlated with the indicator introduced have been determined for each one of the degrees in Science of the ULL. We have thus obtained multivariate linear regression models that allow us to predict the performance of new students in the first semester of the first year of each degree, based on their performance in High School and the University Access Test. In all of Science degrees, the dominant predictor variable has turned out to be the High School grade point average. The goodness of fit of the models that use the new indicator far exceeds that of other pre-existing models in the literature. Our method is extensible to any degree and university.
