Indeed, we have seen the birth of an industrial platform made up of several capabilities and industrial capacities that have been able to respond to a first request for subcontracting at lower cost in the manufacture of the elementary part to complex subsets for the (OEM) Original Equipment Manufacturer tier 1 and tier 2. Through a benchmark model of the cluster performance that we had built, we are able to verify these influential parameters across a benchmark and define the level of maturity of an industrial ecosystem in a global supply chain compared to its competing countries. Another biggest motive behind the authors for combining these two techniques is the fact that eCommerce is a business vertical or a market place where people from all walks of life participate in online purchases. eCommerce is not a market place where it is restricted to one particular community, region, age, colour etc., So to interact, involve and conduct the business operations with an inclusive mindset, the authors thought that it would be appropriate to gamify and pooling the resources such that there would be a perfect blend of resources with utmost motivation to serve all the stakeholders, irrespective of their age, gender, community, region, economic status, in ecommerce. It turned out to be a practical solution as it proved to be promoting an atmosphere that fosters friendship and loyalty, and these close-knit relationships motivate employees; align them to work much harder, cooperate and be supportive to each other. This is possible because every individual possesses diverse talents, weaknesses, communication skills, strengths, habits, and hence it is optimally balanced out. Gamification is a method to enhance employee engagement, behavioral change and motivation. Application of gamification is not limited to eCommerce business models, but can be applied to various other business models in the sectors like education, research, healthcare etc. So also, the human resource pooling is building and grouping of human resources for best use to improve the operational efficiency and reduce the costs. The human resource pooling can happen during fine tuning of a cultural fit, organization mergers, change in organization structure, technological changes and on acquiring new technology. In this study we have considered a group of 120 employees who were further divided to 6 functional groups, having 20 employees in each functional group. A survey of 900 employees working in IT Enabled Service companies around Hyderabad Metro consisting of 550 men and 350 women employees using a structured questionnaire was carried out. The study empirically measured the effect of four independent variables, the employee competencies – personal competencies, knowledge level competencies, job-related competencies and communication and interpersonal competencies on a dependent variable performance management system in IT Enabled Services companies. The reliability of the survey instrument and internal consistencies were measured using reliability statistic Cronbach alpha and the Cronbach alpha values ranged between 0.70 to 0.86 for men and 0.67 to 0.82 for women. The results of the multiple regression analysis reveal statistically significant differences indicating that four independent variables are significant predictors of performance management system. The respondents chosen for this study include software developers and associated functional representatives. The sample size was 56 while purposive sampling technique was used for data collection. The findings indicate that there is a definite positive impact of psychological contract on the organizational commitment with the variables organizational work environment and organizational compensation structure dominating over organizational policies. The limitation that surfaced from the study is the small sample size and the application of descriptive statistical technique. Networking channels are considered as integral parts of the knowledge exchange process, and therefore the innovation process. We simulated three organisational topologies for STPs; firstly, in the star model all are connected to the cluster initiative (CI), secondly the strongly connected model, when all are connected to each other, and finally the randomly connected model, where the network follows no centralised topology. Analyses used adjacency matrixes and Monte-Carlo simulation, trading transaction (networking) costs against knowledge benefit. Results show that star topology is the most efficient form from the cost perspective, and this is especially the case for start-up STPs. Extant studies show that individuals working alone and/or outside organizations - referred to as lone inventors - are less likely than teams and organizations to generate breakthrough inventions, but are they more or less likely to generate highly novel inventions? This paper explores the relationship between lone inventors and the likelihood of generating technologically novel patents, as compared to inventors working alone and/or in organizations. All U.S. patents applied for between 1986 and 2010 are analyzed, and technological novelty is measured as new combination of technology codes. Both independent and single inventors are more likely to generate new combinations than teams and organizations, but the effect decreases with increasing complexity. These findings suggest that lone inventors have an advantage in novelty generation compared to collaboration in teams and/or organizations, and that the technological complexity of the invention moderates the relationship. The increasing of mobile technology also influences the performance of companies involved in the technology industry, especially its operational performance. This study aims to analyze the operational performance of PT Erajaya Swasembada Tbk, one of the largest retail and distributor of gadget companies in Indonesia. The analysis is carried out by trend analysis and comparison of financial performance in the second quarterly period of 2015 until 2018. The results of the analysis show that management is successful in managing so that the company's performance in second quarter of 2018 can increase rapidly from the previous years.
