In this paper, \"An Efficient Multi-Modal Classification Approach for Disaster-related Tweets,\" the proposed framework based on Deep Learning to classify disaster-related tweets by analyzing text and image contents. The approach is based on Gated Recurrent Unit (GRU) and GloVe Embedding for text classification and VGG-16 network for image classification. Finally, a combined model is proposed using both text and image modules by the Late Fusion Technique. This portrays that the proposed multi-modal system performs significantly well in classifying disaster-related content.","PeriodicalId":417643,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE International Conference on Distributed Computing and Electrical Circuits and Electronics (ICDCECE)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-04-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130673965","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A cypher strength study is an important part of any corporate or academic security assessment. A strong encryption mechanism is required for data security. For secure information transmission, System-On-Chips (SoCs) for Internet of things (IoT) applications require hardware-based coordinated arbitrary number generators. They don’t have a confined hardware and power spending plan, intends to the use of particular Twisted Edwards Curve (TEC). A symmetric encryption with incorporated TEC is proposed in this paper. A regular 40 nm CMOS innovation is utilized to accomplish the proposed plan. The aftereffects of the post-design recreation uncover that it gives great irregularity at a modest energy-per-bit cost. Moreover, the circuit finished all NIST assessments with no post-handling. When contrasted with the conventional encryption, it has an extremely low region increment of just 0.14 percent. As a proof of idea, a FPGA execution is likewise shown, which checks the simulated results. To show the double utilization of the proposed TEC, the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) key extension method is also evolved. The AES technique depends solely on the substitute-permute network plan rule, and it functions admired in both programming and hardware. The procedure introduced here utilizes a solitary indistinguishable mystery key for encryption and disentangling. It can't be utilized in public sector or private, business, or different projects. The AES calculation is executed on two FPGAs in this research, and it was found that the Spartan-6 FPGA conveys better throughput and lower time delay than FPGA-based IoT gadgets.","PeriodicalId":417643,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE International Conference on Distributed Computing and Electrical Circuits and Electronics (ICDCECE)","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-04-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123987001","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The primary task performed by a computer user is to type. It is not possible for people with severe motor disabilities like paralysis to communicate effectively using their hands. The aim of the work described in this paper is to provide an on-screen keyboard where a user can type and communicate just by coordinating the blinking of his or her eye. This is achieved through face detection followed by focus on the eye region of the facial image. This facilitates capture and mapping of the eye gaze coordinates to the corresponding key on a keyboard. To achieve this, DLib toolkit has been used. DLib is a trained model majorly used for face detection and facial landmark detection using Support vector machine algorithm. Transfer learning approach is used here to achieve efficiency. The outcome of the work described is the integration of the eye-typing platform with a variety of other features, which has led to an improvement in software usability and productivity.","PeriodicalId":417643,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE International Conference on Distributed Computing and Electrical Circuits and Electronics (ICDCECE)","volume":"258 2","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-04-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120862951","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Researchers highlighted about the biometric technology an in-depth study is done to identify the available types of biometric technology which lead and suits the idea of future banking. The major finding by reviewers leads to the high potential of biometric as security aspect in achieving an ideal future banking solution through a comparison of biometrics, where fingerprint biometrics has an average of above 50 percent on compatibility and the flexibility of the implementation and benefits compared to face image, iris recognition, voice recognition and vein pattern. Past reviews highlighted that another factor that determine that the facial and iris recognition can be a possibility or a substitute for fingerprint recognition is the complexity where attempts to steal this type of security solution is almost to impossible. Biometric technology is proven that it is a technology which able to enlighten any banks towards a desired future banking ideal. This paper will identify the adoption of biometric technology in Automated Teller Machine and its gaps in achieve the ideal future banking.","PeriodicalId":417643,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE International Conference on Distributed Computing and Electrical Circuits and Electronics (ICDCECE)","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-04-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125455431","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These constant power loads(CPLs), due to the high bandwidth, are nonlinear by nature and may cause system instability. This work suggests a robust suboptimal controller design built on semidefinite programming (SDP) to control the CPLs connected to the DC microgrid. The objectives are to keep the bus voltage steady during transients and to alter the injecting current from the energy storage system (ESS) as efficiently as possible. A nonlinear mathematical representation of a DC microgrid is used for the suboptimal controller design procedure, and the problem is solved using the SDP method. The microgrid's performance is assessed in the framework of parameter uncertainty and measurement noises. The obtained simulation results show that the suggested technique is very effective and attains stability fast during faults and transients compared to the conventional PI control even when external disturbances are present. The efficacy of the suggested design approach is evaluated in MATLAB/SIMULINK and compared to the standard PI controller using mathematical simulations. The obtained results verify the usefulness of the suggested suboptimal controller architecture for the DC microgrid connected to the CPLs.","PeriodicalId":417643,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE International Conference on Distributed Computing and Electrical Circuits and Electronics (ICDCECE)","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-04-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122222760","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research study focuses on integrating WSN architecture. In actuality, many automated systems still require extensive human engagement; for example, a patient may need to visit multiple pharmacies in order to locate a specific sort of drug. A smart inventory system integrating Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN), Quick Response Codes (QR), and cloud services (Web) would solve numerous difficulties while also saving money for both patients and stakeholders. What we're attempting to figure out with all of these chores is that we need a speedier, more reliable system to manage operational, repeatable processes. Low-power devices are employed at the architectural level so that each component dissipates less power during signal transmission. By optimising load usage in data transmission depending on application-specific demand, significant electricity can be saved. However, in addition to the aforementioned strategies, using a cognitive power management controller can help IoT-enabled systems save even more power, regardless of application.","PeriodicalId":417643,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE International Conference on Distributed Computing and Electrical Circuits and Electronics (ICDCECE)","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-04-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131272459","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Because of the complex nature of the distribution system, bidirectional power flows in the microgrid system, the islanding detection is not an easy task. This paper proposes a passive islanding detection technique based on the reciprocal of the sum of the individual magnitudes of the positive sequence and the negative sequence voltages at the desired location. The technique presented is simulated and tested for various test conditions such as faults on utility grid side as well as on the microgrid side, disconnection of a distributed generation system, etc. in MATLAB Simulink environment.","PeriodicalId":417643,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE International Conference on Distributed Computing and Electrical Circuits and Electronics (ICDCECE)","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-04-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116420512","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
