In those years, the exchanges among Italy, France and Flanders favored the circulation of the writings and models of the first Brigittine iconography. A testimony of this is found in the miniatures with the Nativity, the Coronation of the Virgin and the Fall of the Rebel Angels in the Tres Riches Heures of the Duc of Berry. The aim of the article is to prove that the Brigittine literature was well known by the Limbourg brothers but also that of explaining the reasons of this interest. Through the systematic study of the sources and the identification of the context that favored interest in Bridget’s work, the article shows how the Limbourgs understood the potential of this new visionary material and paved the way for other representations by Flemish artists of the first generation inspired by the Revelations like those of Robert Campin. Le Rivelazioni di Brigida di Svezia furono diffuse a partire dal primo decennio che segui la morte della santa. In quegli anni, gli scambi tra Italia, Francia e Fiandre favorirono la diffusione degli scritti e dei modelli della prima iconografia brigidina. Testimoniano cio le miniature con la Nativita , l' Incoronazione della Vergine e la Caduta degli angeli ribelli contenute nelle Tres Riches Heures del duca di Berry. Lo scopo dell'articolo e quello di dimostrare che la letteratura brigidina era ben nota ai fratelli Limbourg, ma anche quello di spiegare le ragioni del loro interesse. L’esame delle fonti ha infatti evidenziato come le sventure abbattutesi tra il 1314 e il 1328 sul re di Francia Filippo IV il Bello e sui suoi eredi diretti siano state in breve tempo collegate alla tragica fine dei templari, a loro volta destinati a divenire protagonisti di una leggenda nera di grande appeal . Nel quadro di una narrazione dell’estinzione della dinastia capetingia fatalmente segnata dal mito templare, spicca la figura di F.-J.-M. Raynouard, dal 1805 impegnato in veste di tragediografo e storiografo nella discolpa dell’ordine del Tempio e del suo ultimo gran maestro, presentato come vittima sacrificale delle azioni ingiustamente perpetrate da Filippo il Bello. A Maurice Druon spetta invece il merito di avere fissato la formula della presunta maledizione pronunciata sul rogo da Jacques de Molay nel primo romanzo della saga Les rois maudits (1955-1977), conferendo cosi piena dignita letteraria a una secolare leggenda. This paper traces the circumstances that led to the establishment of the legend that the last Capetian kings were cursed. An examination of pertinent historical sources brings to light how the misfortunes that befell Philip IV, king of France, and his direct heirs between 1314 and 1328 soon came to be associated with the tragic end of the Templars and their last Grand Master—figures who, in their own turn, were to become the protagonists of a dark and deeply appealing legend. Within the tradition of narratives of the extinction of a Capetian dynasty fatally marked by the Templar myth, Francois-Juste-Marie Raynouard especially stands out. Starting in 1805, Raynouard engaged as a tragedian and historian in exculpating the Order of the Temple, which he presented as a victim of actions unjustly perpetrated by Philip the Fair. There are places that by natural vocation can be defined as literary. Places that for a happy alliance of physical, historical, anthropological and cultural suggestions constitute ideal scenarios and source of inspiration for writers. Places like Catania which, with its traditions, its thousand-year history, its landscapes, has generated a copious literary source which is the city’s historical memory. Il saggio cerca di ricercare la fattibilita giuridica e normativa, de iure condito , di tali scenari futuri. In primo luogo, rileva che tale cambiamento consentirebbe l’applicazione dei principi europei e costituzionali di sussidiarieta orizzontale e verticale, nonche il rilancio delle politiche territoriali e integrate, in particolare quelle di natura culturale. Infine, vengono posti al vaglio possibili strumenti di governance partecipativa delle politiche di gestione culturale del territorio, quali fondamenti di comunita. Certamente bisognera approfondire meglio le premesse, le analisi e le tesi dell’argomento qui esaminato. Gli eventi futuri possono indicare se le attuali premesse sistemiche e macroeconomiche incerte legate alla situazione di emergenza fossero corrette. Date queste premesse, si e cercato di fornire soluzioni attuabili nel quadro delle coordinate offerte dall'attuale ordinamento per rispondere con tempestivita ed efficacia “alle sfide del cambiamento”. The pandemic crisis led many observers to paradigmatic hypotheses of change in the cultural field.  The essay tries to research the legal and regulatory feasibility, de iure condito , of such future scenarios. Firstly, it notes that such change would allow the application of European and constitutional principles of horizontal and vertical subsidiarity as well as the revitalization of territorial and integrated policies, in particular, those of cultural nature. Finally, possible participatory governance instruments of territorial cultural management policies, as community foundations, are placed under scrutiny. Certainly, the premises, analyzes and theses of the topic here examined will need to be better explored. Future events may indicate whether the current uncertain systemic and macro-economic premises linked to the emergency situation have been correct. While a background noise characterized by a sort of forced, compulsive digital interaction has been accompanying the months of lockdown, making many express a renewed optimism towards the massive interest in heritage as a form of resistance, the impoverishment of the sector is casting new light on the possibilities of its agency and social impact in the next future. Still, in confused times it is paramount to isolate a few sustainable and innovative practices and to observe them throughout time, much as in a scientific lab. The article concentrates on two issues pertaining to the umbrella-concept of “participation”, and articulates each of them through a selection of recent case-studies from within the museum field: the role and agency of museums as mirrors in times of crisis and their capability of a “rapid response”, and heritage interpretation communities as a means for strengthening the social and cultural tissue through an intergenerational approach.
