Seus estudos demonstraram que a ocorrencia de um numero natural, de modo espontâneo ou aleatorio, nao se dava na proporcao esperada de 1/9, mas segundo uma distribuicao logaritmica. Desde entao, esta lei vem sendo testada em muitas areas do conhecimento. Em financas corporativas, os estudiosos tem testado a lei para investigar fraudes em dados contabeis. Contudo, ainda nao ha consenso sobre a eficacia da LNB nesse âmbito. Assim, o objetivo deste artigo e identificar os argumentos favoraveis e contrarios, bem como os metodos de pesquisa e os principais achados das pesquisas sobre a aplicacao da LNB como ferramenta de auditoria. Para tanto, aplicou-se uma Revisao Sistematica de Literatura, seguindo os passos de Levy e Ellis (2006). Deste modo, alem de informacoes sobre autoria, modelos utilizados pelos autores para suportar suas conclusoes e seus principais achados, apresentam-se lacunas de pesquisa, e as implicacoes para o futuro da pesquisa sao discutidas. Palavras-chave: Lei de Newcomb Benford. Revisao sistematica. Auditoria contabil. ABSTRACT Newcomb Benford’s Law - LNB, was conceived by the astronomer and mathematician Simon Newcomb, in 1881. His studies showed that the occurrence of a natural number, spontaneously or randomly, did not occur in the expected proportion of 1/9, but according to a logarithmic distribution. Since then, this law has been tested in many areas of knowledge. In corporate finance, scholars have tested the law to investigate fraud in accounting data. However, there is still no consensus on the effectiveness of LNB in this area. Thus, the objective of this article is to identify the arguments for and against, as well as the research methods and the main findings of research on the application of LNB as an audit tool. For that, a Systematic Literature Review was applied, following the steps of Levy and Ellis (2006). Thus, in addition to information on authorship, models used by the authors to support their conclusions and main findings, research gaps are presented, and the implications for the future of research are discussed. This article aims to analyze what leads a chemical company from an emerging country to adopt eco-innovation. We developed a qualitative case study based on external and internal factors. The results indicate that the company focused mainly on Research and Development (R&D) and product innovation, emphasizing that innovation can bring advantages in the integration of eco-innovation in its processes. In relation to the drivers for adopting eco-innovation, the influence is more external, based on normative pressures, cooperation and technology. The main challenge is to align sustainable concepts with company strategy, while integrating innovation across departments, this did not drive eco-innovation strategies. Background research on eco-innovation can help policymakers guide and predict corporate behavior and develop mechanisms to encourage environmental management. Keywords: Eco-Innovation. Este artigo tem como objetivo analisar o que leva uma empresa quimica de um pais emergente a adotar uma ecoinovacao. Por meio de um estudo de caso qualitativo, com base nos fatores externos e internos, observou-se que a empresa e focada principalmente em Pesquisa e Desenvolvimento (P&D) e inovacao de produto, enfatizando que inovacao pode trazer vantagens na integracao da ecoinovacao em seus processos. Em relacao aos direcionadores para adocao da ecoinovacao, a influencia e mais externa, pelas pressoes normativas, cooperacao e tecnologia. O principal desafio e alinhar sustentabilidade a estrategia da empresa. A inovacao e transversalmente integrada nos departamentos, mas isso nao impulsionou estrategias de ecoinovacao. Pesquisas sobre antecedentes da ecoinovacao podem ajudar os formuladores de politicas a orientar e prever o comportamento das empresas e desenvolver mecanismos para estimular uma gestao ambiental. Para ello fueron encuestadas 60 organizaciones de economia popular y solidaria de los sectores de comercio, manufactura y servicios. Los resultados muestran que el analisis financiero, la planificacion estrategica, la lluvia de ideas y el FODA, son las herramientas de gestion mas utilizadas por este tipo de organizaciones. A diferencia de lo encontrado en la literatura, el FODA no ocupa la primera posicion de preferencia y uso. En relacion a los beneficios de implementacion de este tipo de instrumentos, estas organizaciones las usan para la deteccion de nuevas oportunidades de negocio, la solucion de problemas estrategicos y el desarrollo de procesos de mejora continua. Ademas, las dificultades en su implementacion fueron la falta de recursos financieros, falta de tiempo para capacitacion y bajo nivel de conocimientos en areas de tecnologia. ABSTRACT The objective of this research is to determine the types of management tools, their benefits and adoption difficulties. Sixty social and solidarity-based economy organizations of commerce, manufacturing and services were surveyed. The results show that financial analysis, strategic planning, brainstorming and SWOT are the most used. Unlike what is found in the literature, the SWOT does not occupy the first position in preference and use. The benefits of its implementation were the detection of new business opportunities, the solution of strategic problems and the development of continuous improvement processes. In addition, the difficulties in its implementation were the lack of financial resources, lack of time for training and low level of knowledge in technology areas. Keywords: Management tools. Neste contexto, o estudo pretende avancar a compreensao sobre a relacao entre as multiplas helices de inovacao e a ecoinovacao, propondo um Framework na perspectiva do desenvolvimento sustentavel. A metodologia utilizada tratou-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa e exploratoria, por meio de uma revisao teorica. Como resultados, destaca-se um Framework elencando-se a Proposicao 1: As Helices holisticas de inovacao estao positivamente relacionadas a ecoinovacao, assim como a Proposicao 2: As praticas ambientais e acoes sociais estao positivamente relacionadas a ecoinovacao. ABSTRACT The multiple helix of innovation can relate to eco-innovation, constituting themselves as drivers for environmental practices and social actions that impact people, organizations, and the environment. In this context, the study intends to advance the understanding of the relationship between multiple innovation helix and eco-innovation, proposing a Framework for sustainable development. The methodology used was a qualitative and exploratory research, through a theoretical revision. As results, a Framework highlighting Proposition 1 stands out: The holistic helix of innovation are positively related to eco-innovation, as is Proposition 2: Environmental practices and social actions are positively related to eco-innovation. In this context, we present the information of different innovation helix that can be used to foster an innovation that contributes to sustainable development, as well as environmental practices and social actions that aim at the preservation of the environment and a better quality of life. Metodologicamente, utilizou-se de um estudo de caso sob uma abordagem quanti-qualitativa, exploratoria e descritiva, aplicando questionarios com os docentes e discentes do Centro de Ciencias Exatas e Tecnologia da UFS (CCET/UFS). Os resultados apontaram que a insercao das tecnologias digitais na formacao profissional traz contribuicoes quanto a modernizacao dos sistemas de ensino, por meio da adequacao dos curriculos escolares e projetos pedagogicos de curso, e a estruturacao de um espaco que simule o ambiente que os egressos encontrarao no mercado de trabalho, culminando no aprimoramento do processo de formacao. A analise indicou ainda impactos do uso das tecnologias digitais na formacao profissional, revelando que, embora os desafios envolvidos incluam fatores como a falta de investimento para a aquisicao de tecnologias digitais e capacitacao profissional e a falta de estrutura disponivel, as tecnologias digitais podem trazer contribuicoes no que tange a melhoria das condicoes de ensino, atualizacao profissional e desenvolvimento de habilidades e competencias essenciais ao contexto da Industria 4.0. ABSTRACT This article aims to analyze how digital technologies linked to Industry 4.0 can contribute to the improvement of professional training, based on the particularity of engineering education at the Federal University of Sergipe (UFS). Methodologically, we used a case study under a quantitative-qualitative, exploratory and descriptive approach, applying questionnaires with professors and students at the Center for Exact Sciences and Technology at UFS (CCET/UFS). The results showed that the insertion of digital technologies in professional training brings contributions regarding the modernization of teaching systems, through the adaptation of school curricula and pedagogical course projects, and the structuring of a space that simulates the environment that graduates will find in labor market, culminating in the improvement of the training process. The analysis also indicated impacts of the use of digital technologies in professional training, revealing that, although the challenges involved include factors such as the lack of investment for the acquisition of digital technologies and professional training, and the lack of available structure, digital technologies can bring contributions regarding the improvement of teaching conditions, professional updating and development of skills and competencies essential to the context of Industry 4.0. Para atingi-lo, optou-se pela realizacao de um estudo de caso multiplo em dois negocios sociais do setor de educacao e tecnologia que atuam no Brasil, que teve como tecnicas de coleta de dados a pesquisa documental e a entrevista semiestruturada. Os resultados apontaram que nos modelos de negocios sociais analisados estao implicitas as estrategias de criacao de valor compartilhado, pois para atender as necessidades dos mercados em que atuam, os de pessoas de baixa renda e/ou com necessidades especiais, essas organizacoes precisaram oferecer produtos distintos daqueles que sao ofertados em mercados tradicionais. Alem disso, esses negocios sociais necessitaram de uma estrutura de operacoes e competencias que contribuissem para a reducao de custos e geracao de impacto social; e de um ambiente externo que apoiasse suas atividades para que os beneficios sociais e economicos pudessem ser disseminados. ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to analyze how the social business model relates to the shared value creation strategies proposed by Porter and Kramer (2011). Thus, it was conducting a multiple case study in two social businesses of the education and technology sector operating in Brazil, which had as data collection techniques the documentary research and the semi-structured interview. The results pointed out that the social business models analyzed are implicit in shared value creation strategies because to meet the needs of the markets in which they operate, those of low-income and people with special needs, these organizations had to offer different products those provided in traditional markets. Also, these social businesses required a structure of operations and competencies that contributed to cost reduction and social impact generation; and an external environment that supports their activities to disseminate social and economic benefits. Como metodo adotou-se uma pesquisa constituida por uma abordagem qualitativa, realizada por meio de estudo de caso. Para tanto, os instrumentos de coleta de dados foram bibliografias sobre o tema e entrevista face a face. Ja a analise dos dados foi realizada por meio da tecnica de analise de conteudo. Os resultados demonstram que o agente varejista faz uso de formas plurais de governanca (vertical e hibrida), o que e condizente com as especificidades do ativo que comercializa (carne especial). Alem da especificidade do ativo, fatores estrategicos motivaram a integracao vertical como maior controle da qualidade e das operacoes que visam, sobretudo, agregar valor ao produto final, bem como a valorizacao e distribuicao do produto. ABSTRACT Given the uncertainties in the supply of special meat in the Brazilian production chain, the objective of this article was to understand the governance structure adopted by a meat retailer in the city of Presidente Prudente / SP. As method was adopted a research consisting of a qualitative approach, carried out through a case study. For this purpose, the instruments of data collection were bibliographies on the subject and face-to-face interviews. The data analysis was performed using the content analysis technique. The results demonstrate that the retail agent makes use of plural forms of governance (vertical and hybrid), which is consistent with the specificities of the asset it markets (special meat). In addition to asset specificity, strategic factors motivated vertical integration as greater quality control and operations that aim, above all, to add value to the final product, as well as the valorization and distribution of the product. Este estudo procurou estudar a teoria da dominacao nas organizacoes apresentada por meio de metafora por Gareth Morgan, no livro Imagens da Organizacao, propondo uma discussao sobre o entendimento do ponto de vista de outros autores. O objetivo deste estudo e investigar, atraves da uma revisao sistematica, de como a dominacao esta sendo abordada no ponto de vista de autores da atualidade e tracar uma relacao com o autor Morgan em uma forma de figura conceitual. A metodologia e de cunho qualitativo descritivo, e estruturada por meio de mineracao de dados textuais. Conclui-se que a dominacao e a organizacao tem relacao com paradigma do trabalho, e as pessoas que nele estao inseridos continuam subjugadas pelo poder dentro de uma organizacao, permanecendo e se ampliando em diversos campos, como um paradigma humano no plano organizacional. This study was developed by Gareth Morgan, a group of teaching organizations, with a discussion on the topic of the book view of other authors. The objective of this study is to investigate, through a systematic review, a way that is being approached from the point of view of current authors and a relationship with the author Morgan in a conceptual figure form. The methodology is descriptive qualitative, and is structured through the mining of textual data. It is concluded that domination and information have access with the paradigm of work, and how people who are inserted are continuous subjugated by the power within an organization, remaining and expanding in fields, as a human paradigm without organizational plan. Essa pratica visa, alem de promover a diversidade, possibilitar integrar seu corpo academico a comunidade cientifica global, favorecendo, assim, a instalacao de processos de inovacao, competitividade e insercao internacional no pais. Neste contexto, o estudo tem como objetivo compreender as caracteristicas da producao cientifica internacional referente as tematicas internacionalizacao e universidade. Para isso, foi desenvolvida uma pesquisa bibliometrica, de natureza descritiva e abordagem quantitativa, utilizando como periodo de analise os anos de 1989 a 2018. Como principais resultados, destaca-se o crescimento do numero de artigos publicados ao longo dos anos, apresentando maior quantidade no ano de 2017. China, Estados Unidos e Inglaterra, respectivamente, apresentam maior numero de publicacoes. Ainda, identificou-se que research, students, development, globalization, science, markets, culture e intercultural experience sao possiveis hot topics relacionados a internacionalizacao e universidade. Palavras-chave: Internacionalizacao. Universidades. Bibliometria. ABSTRACT The internationalization theme of education is increasingly present in the reality of higher education institutions. This practice aims, besides promoting diversity, to make it possible to integrate its academic body with the global scientific community, thus favoring the installation of innovation, competitiveness and international insertion processes in the country. In this context, the study aims to understand the characteristics of international scientific production regarding the internationalization and university themes. For this, a descriptive bibliometric research and quantitative approach was developed, using as the analysis period the years 1989 to 2018. As main results, we highlight the growth in the number of articles published over the years, presenting a larger amount. in 2017. China, the United States and England, respectively, have the largest number of publications. Moreover, it was identified that research, students, development, globalization, science, markets, culture and intercultural experience are possible hot topics related to internationalization and university. No Brasil, os instrumentos de gestao normatizados pela legislacao societaria sao os demonstrativos contabeis financeiros. Alguns demonstrativos, por sua vez, apresentam significativa relevância no contexto economico social. Verifica-se, portanto, a Demonstracao do Valor Adicionado (DVA) como um demonstrativo financeiro que se adequa a esse tipo de informacao. Nesse contexto, o objetivo principal desta pesquisa e apresentar a geracao e a distribuicao do valor adicionado gerado pelas organizacoes de capital aberto segmentada como seguradoras e listadas na B3 (B3 S.A – Brasil, Bolsa, Balcao), durante o periodo de 2015 a 2017. Para tanto, utilizou-se da pesquisa do tipo documental e descritiva, de natureza qualitativa, atraves de uma analise nas DVA’s das instituicoes pesquisadas. Concluiu-se que o periodo de 2015 a 2017 propiciou uma queda na capacidade de gerar valor para as entidades seguradoras. Dentre as quais, a companhia BB – Seguridade Participacoes S.A demostrou maior capacidade de geracao de riqueza, como tambem foi a que menos destinou o valor adicionado ao seu corpo de funcionarios. Quanto a distribuicao de valor notou-se que a maior parcela foi destinada a formacao de reservas de lucros, sendo tambem uma consideravel quantia destinada aos acionistas. De forma geral, o governo e os funcionarios foram os que menos se beneficiaram do valor adicionado. Palavras-chave: Geracao e distribuicao de riqueza. Demonstracao do Valor Adicionado. Seguradoras da B3. ABSTRACT In general, there is a consensus that institutions need means that they serve as data sources so that they can promote their management with security. In Brazil, the standardized management tools for the corporate legislation, are the financial statements. Some statements, for your time, have significant relevance in the social economic context. Therefore, the Value Added Statement (VAS) is presented as a financial statement that is adequate for this type of information. In this context, the main objective of this research is to present the generation and distribution of the added value generated by publicly traded companies segmented as insurers and listed on the B3 (B3 S.A – Brasil, Bolsa, Balcao), during the period from 2015 to 2017. For this purpose, the documentary and descriptive research of a qualitative nature was used, through an analysis in the VAS’s of the research institutions. It was concluded that the period 2015 to 2017 caused a decrease in the capacity to generate value for the insurance companies. Among them, the company BB – Seguridade Participacoes S.A demonstrated greater capacity for wealth generation, but it was also the one that attributed the least added value to its employees.
