Based on the analysis of demands of blind people and comparing the strong point and shortcoming among the common types of the guiding equipment, the design for novel intelligent guiding equipment based on man-machine interaction and multi-sensor technique was proposed. This method used multiple sense information mainly by infrared sensor and impacted sensor etc to detect obstruction and control the advancing direction of whole guiding equipment through the intellectualized judgment and processing by microprocessor to guide the blind. In addition, the principle and process of detecting method, control function, command definition, program design and debugging improvement of the guiding equipment were introduced. Through controlling the special chip for Ethernet, the system realized the function of TCP/IP protocol. Since the system can be used as an independent system, any computer on the net can control the system or transmit order and data to the system through standard TCP/IP protocol. Equipped the system by digital temperature sensor, it can be used to measure industry field temperature and transmit the results to computer through network, and then get temperature curve. And its measure and control range are all -10~+125degC, the accuracy is plusmn1degC, the resolution reaches 0.1degC. This system have many advantages such as simple structure, better universal, communicating through network, flexible usage, low cost etc. It can be adapted by various intelligent sensors and has better expanding ability. Bone adhesive is one of the most potential methods to solve the problem. However, there are a lot of defects in the present medical adhesives. Some adhesives will produce certain poisonous substance in body which would be harmful to people's health. Some have worse adhesive strength and degrade slowly in body. Therefore, it is necessary to search for the new bone adhesive materials for the use in comminuted fracture. A new bone adhesive material, the guar gum- sodium alginate (GS) complexed bone adhesive was developed in the present paper. In many cases, ECG signals but not respirations are routinely monitored. We describe a signal processing technique which derives respiratory waveforms from ordinary single-lead ECG. First, we transform the original single-lead ECG signal using quadric B-spline wavelet, then extend R waves of supra ventricular beats in the 2nd approximation of wavelet transform. The extended signal is passed through a low-pass filter to reduce sample rate to 5 Hz, then through a band-pass filter. The output of the band-pass filter is the ECG derived respiration (EDR). We compare examples of EDR signals with conventional respiration measurements. The results show the EDR signals bear remarkable resemblance to the measured respiration. In many cases apneas are easily identifiable. As a result of the relaxation iterative cell segmentation, the cell nucleus and cytoplasm were separated from the background clearly, which made a good foundation for the cell boundary tracking. Then a 4-neighbour boundary tracking algorithm was used to get the two-dimensional chain tables of nuclear and cytoplasm, which based on external normal preferential algorithm. Finally, line scan algorithm was used in the scanning of the pixels of cytoplasm parallel so that the cell nucleus in cytoplasm of the same cell was found out, which was innovational and useful for the cell recognition. When we face a problem, we usually look into the problem from different perspective and then find out the solution. The different perspectives are actually different ways of measuring the object from various measurements. To change perspectives over an object is an important ability of our human beings, while it is usually not very easy for us to change perspectives in mathematics or algorithms. Pansystems methodology is a newborn developing interdisciplinary investigation of mathematics, cybernetics, systems theory and methodology from the transfield viewpoint of generalized system-transformations-symmetry. In this paper, based on the research on binary relations on sets using pansystems methodology, we propose a new method of transformation of measurement. We first introduce partial and semi-partial order relations, furthermore we give the transformation between the different order-relations. Thirdly, we reveal the essence of the order relation transformation and propose some possible applications for the relation transformation. {"title":"Effect of Asparagus Polysaccharides on Migration Time of Erythrocytes in Tumor-Bearing Organisms Using High Performance Capillary Electrophoresis","authors":"C. Ji, Yubin Ji, X. A mouse tumor model was developed in which mice were intraperitoneally injected with high, medium, and low dosages of Asparagus polysaccharides for 7 d. The erythrocytes were collected and prepared into suspensions, and the migration time of cells were measured using high performance capillary electrophoresis (HPCE). Experimental conditions included the following: capillaries, 75 mum x 50 cm; buffer for electrophoresis, phosphate solution containing hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose (0.1 mol/L, pH 7.4); injection pressure, 3.448 kPa; injection time, 10 s; separation voltage, 20 kV; column temperature, 25degC. It was found that Asparagus polysaccharides can decrease the migration time of erythrocytes in tumor-bearing organisms, which was 17.20 min for the control group, 14.33 min for the low-dosage group, 11.95 min for the medium-dosage group, 13.03 min for the high-dosage group, and 11.42 min for the normal group. Compared with the negative control group, all three dosage groups were significantly different (P < 0.01).
