The comic discourse campaigns for the importance of tolerance from both religion and fellow human beings. The digital comics were created in a creative digital skills class held by the English Literature study program at UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta. Through digital comic discourse, female students create their ideas with the theme of tolerance. By using Searle’s theory, speech act analysis in the discourse is carried out. Searle gave further categories of illocutionary speech acts into representative, directive, commissive, expressive, and declarative categories. These categories make it easier for researchers to see specifically the intended meaning. The data from this study emphasize the utterances spoken by the main characters of the comics. In addition, images from the data become secondary data from this study because the discourse consists of two units, namely text (verbal) and images (non-verbal). The data is processed and classified into several speech act classifications proposed by Searle. The data is described by the qualitative method. The results of this study indicate that speech acts reflected from digital comics by students of UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta have topics that refer to tolerance and maintaining harmony between religions or friends. In this work, students took three main sub-themes, namely 1) inter-religious harmony, 2) harmony among friends, and 3) harmony among neighbors. Character emphasizes the female character. The stories of the characters also affect the storyline, most of which emphasize caring and caring for each other, especially for women of different religions or different backgrounds. In terms of speech acts, from the 15 data collected, there are Directive, Expressive, and Representative with the directive portion being more dominant. The results show that 46.2 percent of the main characters show directive speech acts. Expressive speech acts show the second dominant speech act with a percentage of 33 percent. While the representative 13.2 percent in representative speech acts. While the declarative percentage shows 6.6 percent. From this percentage, it can be concluded that the use of directive speech acts is the main and most effective reference in conveying the moral message of an invitation, namely an invitation to maintain harmony. While expressive speech acts are used as speech acts that reflect empathy for others. In this case empathy between friends or religion.\u0000 ","PeriodicalId":415761,"journal":{"name":"Proceeding of International Conference on Science, Health, And Technology","volume":"53 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121669786","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Viruses are easily picked up by our hands after touching many surfaces on daily basis. Once it is contaminated, our hands can transfer the virus to our eyes, nose or mouth where the virus can easily enter our body. The aim of this research is to develop a commercialized low-cost wearable called the Cov19-donttouch that alerts people from touching any parts of their face. The device is designed to mimic a choker or a brooch or a detachable device that will be placed near the neck area to sense the hand movement and will vibrate when a person is trying to touch their face. Cov19-donttouch uses low-cost motion detection sensor and vibrating motor as its main components. Through induction, the motion detection sensor detects human body movement (in this project: hand) and sends trigger to the buzzer that is connected to a sensor output pin. The sensor works well under one’s shirt or hijab for hand movement detection. The development of the device is achieved as Cov19-donttouch is a stand-alone wearable device where it does not need smart phones or smart watches to function. The device is equipped with battery as its power supply. All the components are encapsulated in a case produced using the 3D printer. Filament ABS is chosen for its durability and versatility as these are very important aspects since the device will be worn outside. ABS provides strength and higher temperature resistance. The Cov19-donttouch device will be placed on the neck to mimic a choker and it performs its intended function well. \u0000 ","PeriodicalId":415761,"journal":{"name":"Proceeding of International Conference on Science, Health, And Technology","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124039729","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Statistical analysis is done by Cochrane Software Review Manager 5.4. Based on the statistical analysis, the result of the included studies shows that the concentration of bacteria at nurseries and day care centres are significant. In recent studies, the values for indoor concentration ranged from the 510 CFU/m-3 until 52560 CFU/m-3. The most common types of bacteria that were found in the studies are Staphylococcus, Micrococcus, Bacillus, and Pseudomonas. In general, the studies noted that the bacteria were mostly non-pathogenic and do not pose an immediate danger to the children’s health. However, children who are immunodeficient are at a risk of infection and catching a disease and possibly serious health effects.","PeriodicalId":415761,"journal":{"name":"Proceeding of International Conference on Science, Health, And Technology","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115293601","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
