The current study used descriptive approach which involved six students. They are the representative from the low, medium and high ability students. To achieve the objective of this research, the researchers used interview guideline as the instrument to collect the data. The findings showed that from those six strategies, there were only five strategies which are employed by the students; namely social startegy, cognitive strategy, compensation strategy, metacognitive strategy and affective strategy. From the result of this research, it can be concluded that memory strategy is not employed by the students. Students have one month to use the zoom meeting application as medium to implementing read aloud. The design of this study is qualitative method using observation, questionnaire checklist, and interview. The subjects of this study were grade 4 students at Nongekeng school, Thailand. The results from data analysis show that there is positive response from students during the implementation of reading aloud using the zoom virtual meeting. Students can focus more on learning, be active in class, have good attitude, good pronunciation and intonation of reading, and ask questions confidently. However, there are obstacles during the teaching process such as an internet connection. The educational field is one of the aspects that affected. The classroom activities that usually do with the teacher and students together in one room moves to the virtual class in which the teacher and the students are apart. The teachers are charged to be more creative to make an interactive class. There are various applications, educational purpose and non-educational purpose, that can be used in teaching and learning activities. Thus, this study aimed to know the students' perception of the use of learning online applications and the perception of Tumblr.com as social media to teach writing, specifically in teaching hortatory exposition text. This study uses a qualitative research design and an online survey that engaged 15 students of the English Education Department in the 4th Semester at Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa. The result of this study displayed students' improvement in writing and a positive attitude towards the use of Tumblr in the teaching and learning process. Seventh grade students in VII.3 at SMP Negeri B.Srikaton was the subject. Method in this research was survey research design. The researcher used questionnaire of Strategy Inventory for language learning (SILL) by Rebecca L. Oxford and interview. In analyzing the data, researcher used four steps; they were identification, classification, description and conclusion. Based on the result of data analysis, it was found there were 6 kinds English learning strategies used by students. The strategies were memory strategies, cognitive strategies, compensation strategies, metacognitive strategies, affective strategies and social strategies. The most dominant strategy in English learning strategies was metacognitive strategy with the total 9 students. The second 8 students was cognitive strategy. The third, affective strategies 8 students. The next, 7 students was memory strategies. There were 24 second-semester students of the English Language Study Program of a private university who participated in this study. The researchers conducted this study by analyzing the students’ speaking scores and categorizing the students’ speaking achievements into five levels of ability. There were five levels of ability that cover the aspects of speaking skills. Those levels are poor, fair, average, good, and excellent. The finding showed that the excellent level contributed as 42 %, then average and good level have the same percentage as 25 % and the two last levels were fair and poor got 4 % for each of them. The average score of students’ speaking performance in demonstrating the product advertising was at a good level. Subjek penelitian adalah 60 siswa yang dipilih oleh perwakilan data sampling peneliti menggunakan penelitian survei dan data yang dikumpulkan oleh wawancara, kuisioner, observasi. Data dinilai dengan menggunakan skala likert. Hasil penelitian adalah para siswa tertarik untuk mengembangkan kecerdasan ganda mereka. Para peneliti menemukan sejumlah kecerdasan item ini: kecerdasan linguistik (16.56%), kecerdasan logikal-matematika (9.51%), kecerdasan visual spasial (10.7%), kecerdasan kinestetik (13.37%), kecerdasan musikal (12.32%), kecerdasan interpersonal (10.66%), intrapersonal intelligence (11.7%), kecerdasan naturalis (15,18%). Dari 8 beberapa kecerdasan memiliki nilai tertinggi adalah kecerdasan linguistik (16.56%) dan skor terendah adalah kecerdasan interpersonal (9.51%). Peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa siswa tertarik pada kecerdasan linguistik di kecerdasan ganda. The data were collected from the observation, interview and test. The data were analyzed from field notes, interview transcript, the observation sheets and test result. It is concluded that using games involving picture in the class can make some progress to the students. The students can increase their vocabulary mastery and their ability both in writing words and in speaking. The students can pronounce the English words correctly. The strategy applied was pre experimental method with one group pretest-posttest design.. The sample was taken through cluster random sampling. The result was VIII.2 class with the total number of 28 students. The data were collected through test consisted of 25 items of multiple choices. The data were analyzed through four techniques: 1) Students’ Individual Score, 2) Minimum Mastery Criteria, 3) Normality and 4) Paired t-test calculation. The result of this study: (1) The mean students’ score in the pre-test was 64.00, (2) The mean score of post-test was 76.00 and (3) the result of paired t-test was 11.43, which was higher than 1.703 value of the t-table of 27 (28-1) with 95% significant level for one tailed-test. In this research the researcher formulated two hypotheses. They were null hypothesis (Ho) and alternative hypothesis (Ha). Based on the result of the paired t-test calculation showed that the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted.
