Abstract

The objective of this research is to investigate the listening strategies employed by the students at the tertiary level in EFL setting. The current study used descriptive approach which involved six students. They are the representative from the low, medium and high ability students. To achieve the objective of this research, the researchers used interview guideline as the instrument to collect the data. 高等院校学生英语听力策略的运用
本研究的目的是探讨高等院校学生在英语环境下的听力策略。目前的研究采用描述性方法,涉及6名学生。他们是低、中、高能力学生的代表。为了达到本研究的目的,研究者使用访谈指南作为收集数据的工具。结果表明,在这六种策略中,只有五种策略被学生使用;即社会策略、认知策略、补偿策略、元认知策略和情感策略。从本研究的结果可以看出,学生没有采用记忆策略。
