Suicides before the crisis have several causes and would continue to occur during a crisis. The proportion of such suicides during a crisis is unknown. Calculating these suicides as part of the purported economic crisis-induced suicides may exaggerate the increase in the suicide rate. Inadequate registration of suicides has been changed during the crisis with increased focus on health effects of a recession. Several years may pass before the economic crisis to make people conclude with a wish to and an act of committing suicide. Economic growth periods correlate negatively with mortality. What is the role of environmental need (risk) in determining the level of action? And what is the relationship between objective risk indicators and subjectively perceived ones? Does Collaborative Management (CM) at the local level influence the stringency of local environmental legislation? This paper employs SEM analysis combining survey data from all municipalities in Israel with an analysis of local bylaws to address these questions. Doing so enables us to contribute the following insights to the research literature. First, we add to the thin extant literature on the role of municipalities in addressing environmental problems and construct a model of factors affecting stringent environmental regulation. Second, the study extends the very small number of non- US studies regarding environmental outputs in municipalities. Third, our study answers the call to investigate conditions under which CM enhances environmental achievements. Fourth, the study further contributes to understanding the importance of perceived risk for explaining local environmental policies and how they are influenced by CM. Much as we try to make health care a technological enterprise, we know at heart it is a human endeavour. While robots might prove to be more adept than surgeons (though in the end they probably won’t), it is people that provide us with hope and compassion and help us get through trying times. In our efforts to make health care less expensive, we neglect the outrageous salaries given to hospital and health care CEO’s and their growing administrative minions but cut the hours of hospital environmental workers who keep us safe from infections; we spend hundreds of millions of dollars on unproven technologies like proton beam scanners while refusing to hire enough nurses to adequately provide care to patients; and we watch safety-net hospitals close and be converted to condo’s while paying millions to bankruptcy lawyers and consultants. While the ACA has been a great mechanism for insuring many more Americans, its intent was not to address the health workforce in any direct manner. On reviewing the definition of Public administration it becomes evident that it refers to administration and management of activities undertaken by personnel who are regarded as public officials employed by the state as public servants. As a discipline it is used to study the phenomenon which underpins the activities of public servants who often fall into three bureaucratic tires, senior, middle and junior personnel. Nigeria’s inability to foster a sustainable democratic tradition has negative consequences for the country. The quest for democracy and therefore development in Nigeria has been hindered by the disruptive influences of militarism. The military’s love for power stems partially from a love for wealth and partly from its self-image as the custodian of the independent and corporate existence of the country. Systems-Centered theory and practice are hypothesized to be useful to management of human systems in all contexts. In organizational contexts, the systems-centered approach presents an innovative approach to leadership, organizational structure and teamwork to improve performance. The goal of this paper is to introduce systems-centered theory and practice as well as to review the empirical studies of SCT methods including studies of comparative training group and work group performance and the unique, cardinal SCT method of functional subgrouping. The researcher used the descriptive analytical method to study the relationship of six variables (decision makers, fund, organizational culture and structure, theses, theses rustles and recommendations, and graduates) on organizational development upon MBA theses. This study focused on the Islamic University of Gaza MBA program and the Palestinian Ministries in the Gaza Strip as a case study. The study population was divided into two: decision makers at ministries and on the Islamic University of Gaza MBA program graduates. The researcher used two different research instruments with each population: questionnaires were used with decision makers’ population which consists of (148), and semi-structured interview were used with graduates’ population which consist of (93). (107) questionnaire were recollected and analyzed by (SPSS) and (20) interviews were conducted with graduates and analyzed using thematic analysis method. The results showed that the two populations agreed that there is no organizational development upon MBA program theses based on four variables: (decision makers, fund, organizational culture and structure, graduates). Where, decision makers relatively does not support organizational development upon MBA program theses, and does not providing supportive organizational culture and structure. Also, graduates dose not allowing to apply their theses. As for (theses, theses rustles and recommendations) the two populations have disagreed and blame each other’s for unrealizing organizational development upon MBA theses. Where, the graduates’ population assure that their theses suitable to achieve organizational development. The study recommended decision makers to support scientific research and encourage researchers. Also, the necessity of taking into account institutions needs to theses topics and problems, determine theses variables and objectives from managers point of view, and examine theses applicability degree before prepare it.
