The proposed method consists of three phases; EEG recording, EEG feature extraction and preference detection. In EEG recording, we employ the simple electroencephalograph. The measurement position to record the EEG is left frontal lobe (FP1). The gray association degree is used to extract the EEG feature. The support vector machine is used to detect human preference on sounds listened to. In order to show the effectiveness of the proposed method, we conduct the experiments. In the experimental results, the mean of the accuracy rate of the favorite sound detection was higher than 88%.","PeriodicalId":413646,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Conference on Electronics, Information, and Communication (ICEIC)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125461997","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper presents a reversible watermarking algorithm that embeds message bits by modifying the differential histogram between adjacent pixels. Also, the way to compensate predicted errors is proposed to solve overflow and underflow of pixel values. In comparison with other methods, experimental results shows that the presented algorithm achieves 100% reversibility, high capacity, and high visual quality while maintaining the induced-distortion low.","PeriodicalId":413646,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Conference on Electronics, Information, and Communication (ICEIC)","volume":"133 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115969540","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It receives two pseudo-differential signals from a panel to cancel out common environmental noises. Each pseudo-differential input signal is achieved by using up and down charge-pumps which convert self-capacitances of two adjacent channels into voltages. The dc signal resulted from the proposed capacitance-to-voltage converter is cancelled out by summing the two differential inputs which have opposite polarity dc levels. It enables the use of high gain amplifier which results in enhanced sensitivity.","PeriodicalId":413646,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Conference on Electronics, Information, and Communication (ICEIC)","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132475043","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Assuming the limitations on the computational capability of the microprocessor which will be used to compensate the nonlinearity due to temperature for the two sensors in the real system, the linear regression for temperature compensation is divided into several sections and performed in first order polynomial. The error rate between the curve fitted by the linear regression and the data received from the hall sensor was calculated.
