This research was conducted in August 2022. A total of 158 cows were randomly selected to be examined for ectoparasites at the Payakumbuh Livestock Market. Examination of ectoparasites using the permanent mounting method without staining. This study used a descriptive non-experimental design to obtain data on the incidence of ectoparasitic infestation in cattle at the Payakumbuh Livestock Market. Of the 158 cows examined, 85 of them were positive for ectoparasites on the outside of the body with a prevalence of 53.8%. Type of ectoparasites in the form of ticks Dermacentor sp. (50.63%) and Boophilus sp. (13.92%). This study aimed to analyze the performance of balitnak superior kampong chickens given chicory flour and to find out the best treatment for the addition of chicory flour in feeding the performance of balitnak superior kampong chickens. The design used was a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments and 5 replications so that there were 20 experimental units and each replication consisted of 5 chickens. The parameters observed consisted of feed consumption, body weight gain, and feed conversion. Mukhtar","doi":"10.35900/jjas.v5i1.16988","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.35900/jjas.v5i1.16988","url":null,"abstract":"Apart from being a bioaccumulator, several studies have also proven that water hyacinth has the potential to be an ingredient for animal feed and organic fertilizer because it contains amino acids and other nutritional elements. This research consists of 2 stages. The first stage is the effect of using several probiotics for fermented water hyacinth on nutritional quality and fiber fraction. The 4 types of probiotics used were liquid organic supplements (SOC), burger feed sauce (SBP), microbacter alfaafa 11 (MA-11), and effective microorganisms 4 (EM-4). The use of a liquid dose of each probiotic is 5 ml/1 kg of fresh water hyacinth. The second stage is the effect of the use of probiotic levels of SOC on the nutritional quality and fiber fraction of fermented water hyacinth. The levels of SOC probiotics used were 5 ml, 10 ml and 15 ml for every 1 kg of fresh water hyacinth ingredients.The use of 4 types of probiotics, namely SOC, SBP, MA-11 and EM-4, had a significantly affected in increasing the nutritional content of fresh water hyacinth ingredients, were the percentage of protein, the percentage of crude fat and the percentage of extracts without nitrogen. In this study, the 4 probiotics were able to reduce the fiber fraction, were acid detergent fiber, neutral detergent fiber, hemicellulosa, cellulose and lignin, and also changing the structure of the fiber fraction where the fresh water hyacinth material is a recommendation to be used as an alternative to beef cattle feed. The nutrient content and fiber fraction of the fermented water hyacinth is close to the nutrient content and fiber fraction of natural grasses. The increasing use of probiotic SOC levels will also increase the content of crude protein, crude fat and extracts without nitrogen from 5% to 15% SOC levels. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui persentase karkas ayam kampung super yang diberi tepung usus ayam sebagai substitusi tepung ikan dalam ransum. Penelitian menggunakan metode experimental dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 5 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Seratus ekor ayam kampung super ditempatkan secara acak dalam 20 unit percobaan, masing-masing 5 ekor. Perlakuan yang diberikan adalah P0 (ransum dengan 10% tepung ikan, tanpa tepung usus ayam), P1 (ransum dengan 7,5% tepung ikan + 2,5% tepung usus ayam), P2 (ransum dengan 2,5% tepung ikan + 2,5% tepung usus ayam) P3 (ransum dengan 2,5% tepung ikan + 7,5% tepung usus ayam) P4 (ransum dengan 10% tepung usus ayam, tanpa tepung ikan). Variabel yang diamati adalah berat hidup, berat karkas, persentase karkas, berat dan persentase bagian-bagian karkas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan tidak berpengaruh nyata (P0,05) terhadap berat hidup, persentase karkas dan persentase bagian-bagian karkas, namun berpengaruh nyata (P0,05) meningkatkan berat karkas ayam kampung super. Penelitian ini menggunakan feses ternak babi peranakan duroc dengan umur 1,5 tahun. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan metode eksperimen langsung. Perlakuan yang dicobakan adalah P0: Fermentasi feses ternak babi selama 6 hari; P1: Fermentasi feses ternak babi selama 12 hari; P2: Fermentasi feses ternak babi selama 18 hari; P3: Fermentasi feses ternak babi selama 24 hari. Variabel yang diteliti adalah perhitungan diameter digester, perhitungan volume gas dan uji nyala api. Perlakuan pakan terdiri dari P0: Kulit pisang Goroho (KPG) tanpa fermentasi, P1: KPG fermentasi Rhizopus oligosphorus 0,3% diinkubasi 48 jam. P2: KPG fermentasi Trichoderma viride 0,3% diinkubasi 120 jam. P3: KPG fermentasi Rhizopus oligosphorus 0,15% diinkubasi 48 jam, kemudian dilanjutkan fermentasi dengan Trichoderma viride0,15% diinkubasi 120 jam. P4: KPG fermentasi Trichoderma viride0,15% diinkubasi 120 jam, kemudian dilanjutkan fermentasi dengan Rhizopus oligosphorus0,15% diinkubasi 48 jam. P5: Kulit pisang Goroho difermentasi Rhizopus oligosphorus 0,15% + Trichoderma viride 0,15% diinkubasi 120 jam. Limbah bulu ayam yang digunakan adalah limbah bulu ayam broiler yang berasal dari Pasar Inpres Ruteng, Kabupaten Manggarai Tengah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dan hasil fermentasi tersebut dianalisis di Laboratorium Kimia Pakan Fakultas Peternakan, Kelautan dan Perikanan Universitas Nusa Cendana. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan yang diujikan adalah R0: Tepung bulu ayam (TBA); R1: tepung bulu ayam terfermentasi (TBAT) ragi roti; R2: TBAT ragi tape; R3: TBAT ragi tempe. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perlakuan berpengaruh nyata terhadap penurunan kandungan nutrisi tepung bulu ayam, namun konsentrasi TBAT menjadi lebih baik karena terjadinya penambahan air pada masing-masing perlakuan. Penelitian dilaksanakkan di desa Sibea Kecamatan Lampasio Kabupaten Tolitoli Provinsi Sulawesi Tengah dan dilaksanakkan selama tiga bulan. Jenis rumput yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu rumput Gajah Mini (Pennisetum purpureum cv. Mott). Plot percobaan dalam penelitian di rancang sebanyak 20 plot dimana setiap plot percobaan berukuran 3 x 2 m2. Penelitian ini berfokus pada variabel tinggi tanaman, jumlah anakkan, dan berat segar panen. Seluruh data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis RAL, sedangkan jika data hasil analisis terdapat pengaruh nyata akan dilanjutkan analisis menggunakan analisis uji lanjut Beda Nyata Jujur (BNJ). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan jika penggunaan pupuk organik feses ayam berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap variabel tinggi tanaman, jumlah anakkan, dan berat segar panen rumput gajah mini. The method used in writing this review is to search for published research articles using Google search and Science direct with the keywords African swine fever and Artificial Insemination (AI). The results of this review show that ASF can reduce the population due to the high mortality rate, ASF can be transmitted through the reproductive organs but this can be overcome by utilizing IB reproductive technology. In addition, AI reproductive technology is also one of the reproductive technologies that can be used to increase the livestock population after the ASF outbreak.
