In this paper, we propose compressed-sensing recovery of MVS exploiting the model of structural group sparse representation (SGSR) along with a targeted database. SGSR groups similar patches together coupled with learning the adaptive basis from the similar groups, which gets sparser representation and thereby performs better in CS recovery. A targeted database can be easily obtained from the MVS due to their abundant prior information and the database can help us obtain more accurate similar patches, which further improve the performance with SGSR. Considering images as compressible signals rather than sparse signals, we design a filtering to retain the details of images. In several applications, including sensor networks, a combinatorial space is built to reflect the data and their relations about a specific topic to be analyzed. Hence the computation of the homology groups is of prime interest. However, the combinatorial space may vary and the computation of its homology groups becomes more difficult. This paper proposes an adaptive algorithm which updates incrementally the homology groups, and because it uses mostly small local computations, it is inherently well adapted to large-scale network. In the second part of the paper, the algorithm is developed and applied to the sensing coverage problem in a sensor networks. A sufficient condition is first analyzed to guarantee the single-cell sum-rate as a Schur-concave function, which leads to the optimality of solving this problem by using the homogenous feedback threshold (HFT) policy. Then a new multi-cell RBF algorithm is proposed based on the HFT policy, namely HFT-MRBF in this paper, where an optimal HFT is also derived according to the number of expected feedback users. Due to the high spatial fluctuations of the traffic demand, the users are modeled as a Cox process. Conditioning on a fixed distance between a user equipment (UE) and its nearest serving BS, exact calculations of the interference and the outage probability are derived. The per-user capacity and the area spectral efficiency are also analyzed. The results show that the model with intra-tier dependence appears closer to the real deployment than the extreme with the complete randomness (the PPP). Any message in data plan can be sent if and only if the RRC (Radio Resource Control) connection is built. Keep-alive messages are transmitted periodically, which leads to periodic establishment of RRC connections in some cases. High frequency of state transition may induce heavy burden in control channel in both UMTS and LTE network. Besides, it may also induce low efficiency in data channel in UMTS network. This paper presents a novel scheme to deal with these problems. Two new concepts, establishment probability “p” and “Rejected” state, are introduced to reduce the frequency of RRC connection establishment. Hence, the load in channels, especially in control channel, can be reduced to a low level. However, the Quality of Experience (QoE) of IM service users are instable, since the IM service is not served with dedicated channel or guaranteed bandwidth. In this paper, we adopt a Representative Service (RS) based QoE model for IM service, and propose a scheduling algorithm to provide fair QoE to IM service users. In the QoE model, the subservice that a user is currently focusing on is defined as the RS and the quality of RS, Representative Service Quality (RSQ), is considered as the QoE of an IM service user. In our scheduling algorithm, RS is estimated when several subservices are launched simultaneously, and resource allocation is done accordingly to avoid the QoE degradation due to resource insufficiency. The utilization of proper allocation scheme not only reduces the transmission delay of SUs, but also increases the throughput of the system. In this paper, we focus on queuing theory based spectrum allocation schemes in CRN, and discuss two useful queue models. To improve the reception reliability of destinations with poor channel conditions, we first divide destinations in the network into two types. The first type, Type I, refers to the destinations with the capability of successful decoding. They will help other users by first performing SWIPT and then relaying the source messages with the harvested energy. The second type of nodes, Type II, have poor connections to the source and hence compete to obtain help from Type I destinations. In order to maximize the data transmission rate of Type II destinations in a distributed manner, we model the cooperative scenario as a coalitional game and propose two coalition formation approaches with different payoff functions. One payoff function is based on how much help a destination can contribute or receive. The other payoff function considers the targeted data rate and ensures much better fairness among destinations. Finally, we propose a distributed coalition formation algorithm where destinations decide individually which coalition to join. The set of techniques specified in the Recommendation can be used to provide high quality mobile satellite services with efficient spectrum utilization, and the candidate services will include multimedia broadband services to handheld or portable terminals and public protection and disaster relief services. In this study, we cut down the preamble structure without zero-value guard symbol to reduce preamble resource overhead. However, the intrinsic imaginary interference from unknown data symbols around degrades the channel estimation performance. Therefore, we provide three different methods to remove or even utilize the intrinsic interference.
