Furthermore, the lower reaches appeared the most dramatic fluctuation, followed by the upper reaches and the slightest fluctuation in the middle of river.Thirdly,the seasonal variations of surface dry/wet conditions were very different.The mean annual humid index was the largest in summer,followed by the autumn and the less in winter and spring.The overall changing trends of four seasons were all increasing,but the wetting trend was more significant in autumn and winter than that in spring and summer.Correlation analysis shows the correlation coefficients between summer, autumn,winter,spring and the mean annual were 0.665,0.591,0.397 and 0.334 respectively,which were all accepted for the 1% significance level,indicating the humid index increasing in the four seasons,especially for the two fomers, made greater contribution to the annual humid index changing.Finally,the mutation threshold of annual humid index occurred in the year around 1983,while the mutation years for the winter,spring and autunm were 1984,1981 and 1999 respectively and the unconspicuous mutation in summer.","PeriodicalId":412601,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Multimedia Technology","volume":"41 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-11-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122759900","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Based on the principle of data independent DEM interpretation analysis method, this paper quantitatively studies the error spatial distribution of slope length which is extracted from grid-based Digital Elevation Model. The result shows that the error of the direct calculation algorithm, which is widely used, is distributed mainly within valley area, and in the catchment area, the result of this algorithm is relatively satisfied.","PeriodicalId":412601,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Multimedia Technology","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-11-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122915003","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To get the signature based on region, the crucial step is image segmentation, and reliable image segmentation is also critical to get the image shape description. Unfortunately, it has been demonstrated that accurate image segmentation is still an open problem. So some strategies for dealing with this problem is to reduce dependence on accurate image segmentation for a practical image retrieval system. Due to the semantic gap, there are still many shortcomings for image retrieval system only with the low level visual features. It is desirable for the relevance feedback based on the user participation in image retrieval system. Through the user's feedback, the corresponding high-level semantic will be obtained based on machine learning theory. Based on ``things cognition'' instead of ``things partition'', the high dimension biomimetic information geometry theory have made good results in many research fields. Based on this theory, to ``cognition'' the whole image characteristic through image segmented into main region and margin region, a prototype image retrieval system was made using the extracted features of color and texture. Combined the retrieval results with relevance feedback technology, image feature dimensional reduction was made using the linear discriminant analysis. It reduces semantic gap and the storage of image signatures, as well as improves the retrieval efficiency and performance. Experimental results on a subset of the COREL database showed the effectiveness of our proposed method.","PeriodicalId":412601,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Multimedia Technology","volume":"493 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-11-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114175140","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Many factors result in airborne SAR positioning accuracy, but main of them are slant range measurement error and time delay, if they couldn't be corrected precisely, the positioning accuracy won't be satisfactory. So this paper calculates the errors through some control points with P-band airborne SAR image of 2.5 meters resolution in mountain area of china(Xian,ShanXi), then we select eleven check points to make statistics. As a result, the horizontal accuracy is 12.6 meters, so the new algorithm on airborne SAR presented in this paper is efficient and practicable for airborne SAR Direct Geocoding in mountain area.","PeriodicalId":412601,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Multimedia Technology","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-11-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114478668","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To reduce the influence of clutter, the paper firstly attempts to use FastICA algorithm by separating the target signal and clutter to suppress the strong clutter. The pretreatment of increasing the dimension and dividing the frequency is used before Fast ICA algorithm because of the special radar complex signals. In the same matched filter conditions, Fast ICA algorithm is proved effectively through the increased peak side lobe ratio (PSLR) and signal clutter ratio (SCR).","PeriodicalId":412601,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Multimedia Technology","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-11-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122155963","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The approximation subband of the original digital image in the wavelet domain was decomposed into blocks and classified first by considering human visual masking characteristics. Then, the blocks with best abundant texture information were selected adaptively according to the size of binary character watermark, and the watermark embedding was carried out by adjusting these selected block coefficients based on the discrete operation. A scheme is also developed for watermark extraction from the distorted image based on the discrete operation. As the watermark embedding and extraction are based on the binary discrete operation, the embedded digital watermark with the proposed algorithm is robust enough against the commonly used image processing such as additive noise, filtering, JPEG compression, and geometric cropping.","PeriodicalId":412601,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Multimedia Technology","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-11-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129881823","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
