We examine the current trends in the evolution of this role and attempt to understand how it may develop over the next two hundred years, as the very nature of human existence may be altered. We are concerned with weaknesses in the AI development and deployment processes, in particular with lapses in the use of AI evaluation methodology and in the tendency of both humans and AI systems to accept unquestioningly the conclusions reached by such systems. We posit the need for a “humble” AI aware of its own limitations and of the limitations of its ambit. Without serious attention to these aspects of AI, it may come to represent an existential threat to our species. We reference examples from popular culture to illustrate these concerns.","PeriodicalId":411709,"journal":{"name":"MOJ Applied Bionics and Biomechanics","volume":"4 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141017002","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research has been structured in three parts, the objectives and methods applied are distributed, the entire training process was observed and surveys were applied to the population of coaches of this sport in the municipality of Santa Clara, to obtain information on teaching and training practice in these categories. A workshop was also held with three other coaches who are intentionally selected for their experience and sports results. For the study we rely on the theories of Karl Hainaut and Moral and Rodríguez to analyze the kinematics of the spike movement and the action of its main muscle planes; fundamental technical movement in this sport. The exercises selected for technical improvement, allow providing a more objective and variable training according to the criteria of the consulted specialists.","PeriodicalId":411709,"journal":{"name":"MOJ Applied Bionics and Biomechanics","volume":"21 5","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140244355","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These rates provide crucial data to international monetary exchange markets. Using a Markov chain model, this study attempts to determine the behaviour of the Libyan (LYD) currency rate against the US Dollar (USD). Three states are observed. The transition probability matrix and starting state vector are calculated. The result shows that, the probability of being in one of three states, namely, increases, remain the same or decreases are 0.3614, 0.3268 and 0.3118, respectively. The expected number of visits and return time are also obtained.","PeriodicalId":411709,"journal":{"name":"MOJ Applied Bionics and Biomechanics","volume":"3 6","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140412481","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As such, it is a crucial problem that affects society's well-being all around the world. Chemotherapy is the most commonly used treatment for cancer. It is a technique that uses drugs to kill cancerous cells or the cancerous organism itself. Chemotherapy has been used to treat metastatic cancer for the past 50 years, with varying degrees of effectiveness. One of the main problems with many chemotherapeutic drugs is that they might damage healthy cells and organs. These drugs frequently have a low therapeutic index, a restricted ability to selectively target cancerous cells, and a high propensity to develop drug resistance after extended use. Furthermore, a rise in the expression of glutathione reductase (GR; EC 1.8.1.7) and glutathione S-transferase (GST; EC 2.5.1.18) can be seen with time. Extensive study on proteins and their functions in the development of cancer cells has been conducted in recent years. Glutathione-S-transferases (GSTs) are a superfamily of enzymes that play a critical role in the detoxification of cells by protecting them against reactive electrophiles such as chemotherapeutic drugs and reactive oxygen species. Glutathione reductase (GR), on the other hand, is an essential antioxidant enzyme that supports cellular protection against oxidative stress. In addition to its antioxidant role, GR has become a target for the synthesis of antimalarial and anticancer medications. In the current investigation, affinity chromatography was used to purificate the GST and GR enzymes from human erythrocytes. Through the calculation of IC50 and KI values for these derivatives, the effects of isoxazole derivatives on these purified enzymes were examined, with an emphasis on identifying the forms of inhibition.","PeriodicalId":411709,"journal":{"name":"MOJ Applied Bionics and Biomechanics","volume":"20 7-8","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140496205","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Based on the need to solve a packaging leak problem in a company producing biological cardiovascular valves, a data survey can be carried out using the Quality Tools Check Sheet, Cause and Effect Diagram, 5W2H, Flowchart and GUT Matrix for identifying causes and failures in processes. Tests were carried out on a set of 93 packaging samples with 3 different moulds, evaluating the manual closure of the lids, based on the pot closure system, as well as analyzes with 2 torquemeters to compare results. The samples were submitted to a vacuum sealing system for visual analysis of the leak. Power BI and Excel software were used to record the data. Regarding the results, an approval rate of 96.73% was observed using the \"torquimeter 1\" for the three packaging models and for the \"torquimeter 2\", an approval of 71% of the packages and in comparison to the nonconformities, the \"torquimeter 1\" presented 4.3% of disapprovals and as for the 2, a value corresponding to 29% of the total of the executed tests.","PeriodicalId":411709,"journal":{"name":"MOJ Applied Bionics and Biomechanics","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133292273","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study monitored the process of arsenic deposition at various discharge stations, where the contaminant was observed depositing different levels of concentration. This implies that the quality of the water in the creek has deposited arsenic as a substance in the environment, and the application of monitoring diffusion rate of arsenic are based on the heterogeneity of the velocity; the study using modeling and simulation were able to express the significant impact of diffusion, because the transport process experienced decrease in concentration with respect to increase in distance for all figures, These conditions imply that velocity in some locations exhibited very low in transport process, which would have resulted in arsenic accumulation in most location, this implies that the rates of concentration would have deposit exponential phase, but diffusion has exhibited higher significant impact compare to dispersion of arsenic. Predicting the Arsenic concentration in Choba Creek has demonstrated the rate of velocity and diffusion impact in the study area; as a result, discharge from some industries has increased the concentration of the contaminant, which this study has monitored the source and the rates of contaminant at different station points. The study is imperative because the contaminant's source has been investigated, the rate of pollution at different point sources has been assessed, and experts will undoubtedly use the transport model as a source for monitoring other creek contaminants, including various heavy metals, in any region of the nation.","PeriodicalId":411709,"journal":{"name":"MOJ Applied Bionics and Biomechanics","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131361011","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
