One of the sub-districts in the city of Palu which has a high prevalence of stunting is Taipa Sub-District in the Mamboro Health Center area with 24.7% or 108 cases out of 437 toddlers measured. The aim of the research is to analyze the relationship between healthy house factors and environmental sanitation with the incidence of stunting in the Mamboro Health Center working area. The type of research used is quantitative research with a case control research design. The sample size was 102 stunted toddlers in the case group and 102 normal toddlers in the control group. The results of the study showed that the healthy house factor had a significant relationship with the incidence of stunting with a value of p=0.002 (p<0.05). Respondents who own a house that does not meet the healthy requirements have a 2.82 times greater risk of having a stunted child (OR=2.82). Meanwhile, clean water facilities, latrine facilities, waste disposal facilities and waste disposal facilities have no relationship with the incidence of stunting (p<0.05). Conclusion: There is a relationship between healthy homes and the incidence of stunting in the Mamboro Community Health Center area (p=0.002), where respondents who have unhealthy homes are 2.82 times more likely to have stunted children (OR = 2.82).","PeriodicalId":410137,"journal":{"name":"Journal La Medihealtico","volume":"1 ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139245376","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There are many types of plants that are often used in traditional medicine. One of the plants that is often used is white turmeric (Curcuma zedoaria). This study aimed to identify the toxic effects and determine the LD50 value of white turmeric extract. In this study, rats were divided into six groups with per-oral administration of the extract. After the administration of the extract, 24 hours of toxicity symptoms were observed, then the number of dead rats was recorded. On the 15th day, uterine organs were taken for histopathology observation. Based on the results of the tests that have been carried out, no toxic effects were found in rats, with a pseudo-LD50 value of >2000mg/kgBB. This causes an autistic child to prefer to be alone and unable to communicate with other people well. Parental involvement in parenting significantly increases the developmental progress of children with autism, including allocating time for joint activities, frequent interaction, financial assistance, active parenting, and being involved in playing with children. Thus, the role of parents is very much needed. to provide care in the development of autistic children. This research aims to determine the relationship between parental characteristics and social interaction abilities for Autistic Children in SLB in the Sargen area. This research used a cross sectional method involving 60 parents who had autistic children at the Sragen Regency Special School which was conducted in September 2023. Social interaction data was measured using ATEC (Autism Treatment Evaluation Checklist). The data analysis used is the data normality test and continued with the Chisquare test to determine the relationship between variables. There is a weak relationship between age, parental education, employment and family income with the social interaction abilities of autistic children in the Sragen Regional Special School. Red betel leaf (Piper crocatum) can be used as a treatment for diabetic nephropathy, which has antioxidant properties. This study aims to determine the optimal dose of ethanol extract of red betel leaves, the effect of ethanol extract of red betel leaves on blood glucose, improvement of kidney function and kidney histopathology in STZ-NA induced rats. This study used 30 male white rats of the Wistar strain, 5 groups were conditioned to experience hyperglycemia and waited for three weeks after induction of STZ-NA via intra peritoneal 60 mg/kg BW and 120 mg/kg BW. After it was stated that the rats had diabetic nephropathy, they were given an oral test preparation. Parameters measured were blood glucose, BUN, and renal histopathological tests. Data analysis used the ANOVA method followed by the LSD Post Hoc test. The test results of antihyperglycemic activity and improvement of kidney function stated that the ethanol extract of red betel leaves at doses of 125 mg/kg BW and 250 mg/kg BW had a significant difference between the normal group, negative control and positive control, but at a dose of 500 mg/kg BW there was no difference significantly with the positive control where the ethanol extract of red betel leaves has the same effect as the positive control. One of the efforts to control it is to brush your teeth regularly and regularly use mouthwash. Currently, many mouthwashes have been developed with traditional plant ingredients that have antiseptic and antibacterial properties with side effects. One of these traditional plants is Green Tea (Camellia sinensis) and Nutmeg (Myristica fragrans Houtt). The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of gargling with steeping green tea (C. sinensis) and nutmeg (M. fragrans Houtt) on the decline in plaque index of adolescents aged 17-19 years. The type of research used is quasi-experiment research one group pre-post test. This research was conducted in October-December 2022. The subjects of this study were Polytechnic students of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Manado aged 17-19 years and willing to be research subjects. The number of samples obtained in this study was 42 people. The treatment given is gargling with steeping green tea (C. sinensis) and nutmeg flowers (M. fragrans houtt). The variable measured is the plaque index. This research instrument uses diagnostic tools and plaque index assessment format. The data obtained were analyzed using a paired sample t-test statistical test. The results of this study showed that the average plaque index before gargling steeping green tea (C. sinensis) was 2.09 and after that was 1.35, had a difference in decrease of 0.74 points. The average plaque index of steeping nutmeg (M. fragrans houtt) before was 2.03 and after that was 1.03, had a difference of 1.00. Based on analysis using paired sample t-test shows there is a significant difference seen from the value of p = 0.00 (0.00<0.05). This study aims to analyze and obtain information on availability management at the Pharmacy Installation of the South Tapanuli Regional General Hospital. This type of research is qualitative with a descriptive approach using primary data and secondary data using the interview method. The informants interviewed at the pharmaceutical installation were the head of the pharmaceutical installation unit, the coordinator of pharmacy services, the head of the pharmaceutical warehouse/supplies, the coordinator of quality management and administration. Informants of this study were taken by purposive sampling and data analysis using triangulation and data reduction methods. The results of this study obtained that planning for drug needs uses the consumption method by looking at the need for previous use, but it has not been maximized, procurement has not gone well, drug shortages often occur, drug storage systems use the FIFO (First in First Out) and FEFO (First Expired First Out) systems. First Expired First Out). Storage is not up to standard, the waiting time for drug distribution to patients starting from the patient submitting the prescription to the delivery of the drug takes quite a long time for the drug to be finished. The conclusion is that the implementation of drug availability management has not run optimally according to standard operating procedures for services, so it is necessary to increase human resource knowledge through training related to drug planning.","PeriodicalId":410137,"journal":{"name":"Journal La Medihealtico","volume":"1 2","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135113594","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
