This research aims to identify and analyze risk factors and the influence of ergonomics on musculoskeletal disorders in the work environment. Using qualitative methods based on literature review studies, this research explores various factors that contribute to musculoskeletal disorders through content analysis from various previously published literature sources. The main risk factors contributing to this disorder include unergonomic work postures, lifting heavy loads, and repetitive movements. This research highlights the importance of ergonomic interventions, such as adjusting sitting position, setting up work tools, and ergonomics training for workers, in reducing the risk of musculoskeletal disorders. It is hoped that the results of this research will provide useful insights for occupational health practitioners, human resource managers, and policy makers in designing and implementing effective ergonomics programs in the workplace. By understanding risk factors and effective ergonomic interventions, companies can improve worker health and well-being, reduce the incidence of musculoskeletal disorders, and ultimately increase work productivity and efficiency.","PeriodicalId":410137,"journal":{"name":"Journal La Medihealtico","volume":"6 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-08-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141921377","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Gastritis can be caused by several things, one of which is the use of anti-inflammatory drugs which can damage the gastric mucosal lining which occurs in two ways, namely local and systemic. Local damage is caused by being lipophilic and acidic, while systemic damage is caused by a significant decrease in prostaglandin production. Avocado leaf ethanol extract contains flavonoids and saponins which have anti-inflammatory effects and inhibit histamine secretion. This study aims to analyze the activity of ethanol extract of avocado leaves in reducing gastritis in vivo in rats induced by apirin. Samples of 60 mice weighing 150-200 g were divided into 5 groups, namely negative control group (CMC Na), positive control (Simetidine), ethanol extract of avocado leaves 100, 200, 400 mg/Kg BW. Mice were fasted for 24 hours, induced by aspirin 400 mg/KgBW for 24 hours and mice remained fasted. then given treatment according to group division for 8 days. Every 2 days after treatment, 3 mice were taken from each group to be sacrificed by dislocation, the mice's stomachs were dissected, all gastric fluid was collected and the stomach contents were removed and then washed with 0.9% NaCl solution. Gastric fluid is used to check fluid concentration and pH. Then the rat's stomach was opened by stretching it to count the number of ulcers and the ulcer index that occurred. The results of the study showed that the 400 mg/KgBW avocado leaf ethanol extract group had an anti-inflammatory effect that was almost the same as Cimetidine, this was shown by the results of decreasing gastric fluid concentration, decreasing the number of ulcers, decreasing the ulcer index and increasing gastric pH. Based on the description above, it can be concluded that the ethanol extract of avocado leaves has an anti-inflammatory effect in reducing gastritis.","PeriodicalId":410137,"journal":{"name":"Journal La Medihealtico","volume":"3 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139208878","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Noni fruit, rich in antioxidant compounds like flavonoids and alkaloids, is thought to possess anti-diabetic properties. This study aimed to assess the influence of administering 500 mg/kgBW of noni fruit on the glucose levels of Wistar rats induced with diabetes using 150 mg/kgBW of alloxan. Blood sampling followed a post-test only group method conducted before terminating the mice. The study involved 33 mice divided into three groups: a negative control group, a positive control group induced with diabetes for 3 days, and a treatment group induced with diabetes followed by a 14-day administration of noni fruit extract. The normality test revealed a non-normal distribution with a p value <0.05. Additionally, the Kruskal-Wallis test resulted in a p value <0.05, signifying the impact of noni fruit administration on the blood glucose levels of rats. The Mann-Whitney U test indicated a p value > 0.05 between the positive control group and the treatment group. Despite the absence of a significant difference in glucose levels between the two groups, the study concluded that administering noni fruit at a dose of 500 mg/kgBW could influence the blood glucose levels of mice.","PeriodicalId":410137,"journal":{"name":"Journal La Medihealtico","volume":"416 ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139204043","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
