Data from the Medan Deli Health Center shows that in 2019 the K1 coverage is only (87%) and K4 only (66%), while the target of K1 and K4 coverage is 100% respectively. Many factors are thought to be the cause of not achieving coverage of antenatal care (ANC) implementation. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors that influence the implementation of ANC in pregnant women. This type of research is a mix method with quantitative and qualitative approaches. The study population was 195 people, with the Slovin formula taken a sample of 66 people. Quantitative analysis was univariate, bivariate using chi-square and multivariate using multiple logistic regression at the 95% confidence level ( = 0.05). The qualitative analysis was analyzed by means of reduction, data display and verification. The results showed the variables that influenced the implementation of antenatal care (ANC) in pregnant women in the work area of the Medan Deli Public Health Center in 2020, namely knowledge p = 0.032, attitude p = 0.018, parity p = 0.008, health services p = 0.016, husband support p = 0.026 and support for health workers p = 0.041. The unrelated variable was job status p = 0.269. The most dominant variable was the health service variable which had a value of Exp (B) = 12.048, meaning that respondents who received health services had 12 times the chance of implementing antenatal care compared to respondents who did not get health services. The conclusion of this research is that the implementation of antenatal care in pregnant women is influenced by knowledge, attitudes, parity, health services, husband support and support from health workers. It is hoped that health workers, especially midwives, will provide good IEC about the implementation of antenatal care to every pregnant woman and carry out more frequent home visit activities and provide advice to the puskesmas to re-attach the standby husband and cooperate with local regional leaders","PeriodicalId":410137,"journal":{"name":"Journal La Medihealtico","volume":"53 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-08-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127975654","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study aims to establish the reference interval of the complete hemogram amongst healthy Sudanese children in Elobied city, Sudan. A descriptive cross-sectional study  included 354 healthy children, aged between 3 to 17 years, who were categorized into three groups according to age. A questionnaire was fulfilled, EDTA anti-coagulated venous blood sample was collected from each child then the complete hemogram was performed automated hematological analyzer (Sysmex Xp 300), Finally, Data was analyzed by a software program (SPSS version 21). The hematological reference intervals for healthy children [Hb g/dl, HCT%, RBCs count x106μL, MCV/fL ,MCH /pg., MCHC g/dl ,WBCs count x10³/μL, Neutrophil count%, Eosinophil count %, Basophile count %, lymphocyte count ,Monocytes count%, RDW CV and PLTs count×10³/μL] are [(12.4±1.2),(37±4),(5.0 ±0.4), (82±5.0), (26±3.0), (32±3.0) ,(7.0±2.0) (47±10), (1±0.1) ,(0±0),(45± 10),(7 ± 4), (13±1.8) &(227±91)] respectively. The hematological RI for healthy children in Elobied was established in this study to be representative of this population, there was a significant gender-based difference in all the evaluated hematological parameters, they were found to be higher in males than in females except for basophil (%). Finally, the results of this study would shed a light on the importance of establishing RI for the children population in Elobied.","PeriodicalId":410137,"journal":{"name":"Journal La Medihealtico","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-08-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129166385","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The main indicator of the standard of a health facility and is a measure of the quality of service, low customer satisfaction will have an impact on the number of visits that will affect the profitability of health facilities. This study aims to determine the effect of quality and the dominant variables that affect service on patient satisfaction at the Haji-Medan Hospital in 2020. The quantitative research was conducted through an analytical survey research approach with a cross sectional study approach. Testing through logistic regression on the independent variables, namely; Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, Empathy and Tangible from the respondents' questionnaire data as many as 80 samples. The results showed that service quality had a significant effect on patient satisfaction from four variables, namely; reliability p value 0.020 (p < 0.05), responsiveness p value 0.038 (p < 0.05), empathy p value 0.000 (p < 0.05), p value tangible 0.001 (p < 0.05). Assurance variable, the quality of health services has no effect on patient satisfaction with a p value of 0.332 (p> 0.05). A total of 951 methadone patients were screened; 60 (16%) met the inclusion criteria and of those 51 (85%) completed 16 weeks of study procedures. Most of the participants were ATS users with moderate or higher risk of dependence. Compared to the non-intervention group, the intervention group showed a significant reduction in positive urine tests for methamphetamine (a decrease from 100% to 11% vs. a decrease from 100% to 98% for the non-intervention group, p<0.001) and for opiates (a decrease from 36.7% to 3.7% vs. a decrease from 43.3% to 29.2% for the non-intervention group). In the intervention group, the quality of life increased from 76.74 points to 85.5, the proportion of depression decreased from 43.3% to 18.5%, anxiety decreased from 30% to 11.1%, and stress decreased from 76.7% to 29.6%. In the non-intervention group, quality of life decreased from 75.2 points to 74.5 points, the proportion of depression decreased slightly from 40% to 36%, anxiety decreased from 33.3% to 24%, and stress decreased from 76.7% to 76.0%. The intervention group was significantly more likely to adhere to methadone treatment (p<0.001). The proportions of participants in the intervention group and non-intervention group who discontinued treatment were 10% and 20%, respectively. The study results suggested that the MATRIX model could help reduce ATS and opiate use and improve mental health as well as treatment adherence.","PeriodicalId":410137,"journal":{"name":"Journal La Medihealtico","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131764697","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
