Članak ukazuje na rodne dimenzije “tranzicije” kroz analizu njezinih materijalizacija u kontekstu popularne kulture. S fokusom na orodnjeno mentalno zdravlje, analiza se oslanja prije svega na rad Sare Ahmed o afektivnosti društvenih normi i ideala kao i na rad Lilijane Burcar koji se bavi odnosom kapitalizma i patrijarhata u postjugoslavenskom prostoru.","PeriodicalId":40979,"journal":{"name":"Etnoloska Tribina","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.3,"publicationDate":"2022-12-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"67288515","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Prije desetak godina pojavio se novi trend koji na temelju neoliberalne ekonomske politike popularizira planinarske aktivnosti izvan postojećih planinarskih klubova, Hrvatskog planinarskog saveza i časopisa Hrvatski planinar, što se pokazalo korisnim za turizam i cjelokupni poslovni sektor. Na temelju etnografskog istraživanja provedenog među entuzijastima outdoora, pustolovnim turističkim vodičima i praktičarima pustolovnih sportova u Hrvatskoj, te analize online sadržaja vezanih uz outdoor aktivnosti i planine, ovaj rad ispituje kakav avanturistički narativ stvaraju komercijalni pustolovni programi u Hrvatskoj te kako ti programi utječu na redefiniranje značenja avanture u vremenu komodifikacije aktivnosti na otvorenom.","PeriodicalId":40979,"journal":{"name":"Etnoloska Tribina","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.3,"publicationDate":"2022-12-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"67288711","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Iscrtavaju politike zaštićenog područja, ali naglasak stavljaju na življenu svakodnevicu uz Jamu. Kombinirajući teorijske postavke antropologije krajolika i antropologije društvenog sjećanja, Jami pristupaju kao mjestu sjećanja, zahvaćajući životne priče pripadnika dviju generacija jedne pazinske obitelji. Pritom utvrđuju koji status Jama igra u pripovijedanju o životu u gradu. Otkrivaju negativne konotacije koje se pripisuju krajoliku kao izvoru opasnosti i prostoru tamnice tijekom Drugog svjetskog rata. Zaključno upućuju na istaknutu ulogu Pazinske jame u procesima stvaranja grada i lokalnog identiteta.","PeriodicalId":40979,"journal":{"name":"Etnoloska Tribina","volume":"50 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.3,"publicationDate":"2022-12-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"67288868","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Prirodna nepogoda se ne razumijeva samo kao katastrofa nego i kao svojevrsna katarza koja je otkrila slojeve političkog zanemarivanja, teške prošlosti i duboke povezanosti čovjeka s prirodom. Autorica interpretira (posredovane i etnografski zabilježene) osobne naracije o prirodnoj nepogodi, ruinizaciji i regeneraciji, solidarnosti i međusobnom razumijevanju kao temelj za oblikovanje novih afektivnih zajednica i pokretanje procesa kojima se razgrađuju nacionalne (i nacionalističke) naracije i postiže osnaživanje zajednice. Metodološki okvir rada obuhvaća participativnu etnografiju, teorije usmenog pripovijedanja (Bausinger 2018 [1958]; Borland 2021; Bošković-Stulli 1984; Ranke 2018 [1967]; Rudan 2020, Shuman 2005), osjetilnu etnografiju (Bendix 2000, 2005) i ekološku spoznaju “duboke međuovisnosti čovjeka i svih stvari koje ga okružuju” (da Silva i Neuman 2018). Autorica zaključuje da seljani, kohabitirajući s prirodom, ali i oviseći o njoj, na jedinstvenom iskustvu nepogode grade smisao tako što uspoređuju ovu katastrofu s drugim primjerima ljudske patnje i oblikuju je u narativni obrazac koji “od alegorijskog čini osobno, od lokalnog kozmičko” iskustvo (Shuman 2005).","PeriodicalId":40979,"journal":{"name":"Etnoloska Tribina","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.3,"publicationDate":"2022-12-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"67288081","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The first part of the paper explores the genealogy of two crucial anthropological approaches to “the life of the senses,” anthropology of the senses, and sensory anthropology, outlines their relationship to so-called walking methodologies, and relates them to the recent upsurge of research in atmospheres. The second part presents selected topics from the described fields in Ljubljana. More specifically, the paper deals with how, during sensobiographic walking through the historical city center, Ljubljančani and Ljubljančanke experienced what “atmospheric transformations” ushered in by Ljubljana’s annual December celebrations/festivities. The authors conclude that concepts and epistemological frameworks produced or implicated in the anthropology of the senses/sensory anthropology, as well as in walking methodologies and atmospheric studies, engender an examination of sensory dimensions of politics and economy in late capitalism but are appropriated in a reified form for purposes of capital accumulation.","PeriodicalId":40979,"journal":{"name":"Etnoloska Tribina","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.3,"publicationDate":"2022-12-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"67288740","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

I hypothesized that efforts to establish sustainable tourism development in Komiža would be influenced by the collective identity of residents. I found that tourism and collective identity act as a feedback loop, with identity influencing community efforts to develop sustainable tourism and vice versa. The findings suggest that in creating sustainable tourism models, we must avoid generalized efforts and instead work with communities to devise strategies that fit their individual needs and characteristics.","PeriodicalId":40979,"journal":{"name":"Etnoloska Tribina","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.3,"publicationDate":"2022-12-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"47129155","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It offers ethnographic insights into the everyday effects of power struggles between popular and official memories and responds to calls to explore affective states brought about by the politicization of the past in particular settings. Without denying the importance of memory in post-war Bosnia-Herzegovina, it nevertheless points to the relevance of exploring uncertainty, doubts, disinterest, and silences for ethnographic research on memorialization processes in post-conflict societies and beyond.","PeriodicalId":40979,"journal":{"name":"Etnoloska Tribina","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.3,"publicationDate":"2022-12-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"47242117","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The initial hypothesis developed here is that toward those forms of violence linked to the most intimate sphere – home – we, as a society, practice spatiotemporal “distancing,” thus allowing for this structural and cultural violence to continue. Istraživanje provedeno kvalitativnom metodologijom pokazuje da su radna i svakodnevna iskustva kod većine kazivačica pretežito zadovoljavajuća, u velikoj mjeri preklapajuća te ukazuju na relativno visok stupanj ekonomske i društvene integracije visokoobrazovanih migrantica u države prijema. Pronalazak posla u struci omogućuje im bolji standard života, a uvjete rada smatraju boljima nego u Hrvatskoj. Svakodnevna iskustva ukazuju na odgovarajuću količinu slobodnog vremena te osjećaj zadovoljstva kvalitetom života. Given that their social world has not yet been studied in much detail, this research aimed to explore the work experiences of tattoo artists. For the purposes of the research, semi-structured interviews with tattoo artists were conducted. The results show that for tattoo artists, tattooing is more than just a job – rather, it is integral to their lifestyle. Tattoo artists give particular importance to family and friends and support and belonging in both tattoo-specific and broader alternative scenes. With regard to cultural capital, a specific type of cultural capital, “alternative cultural capital,” proved to be important.","PeriodicalId":40979,"journal":{"name":"Etnoloska Tribina","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.3,"publicationDate":"2022-12-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"67288620","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
