Establishing a strong foundation for global engagement is crucial in teacher training as it impacts not only pre-service teachers, but also the students with whom they will work. Teacher education programs can promote internationalization and prepare teachers for global engagement through study abroad programs as well as by incorporating models and frameworks for global education into the curriculum.  Although there are a number of these models and frameworks available, all of which share many of the same indicators of global-mindedness, there is something missing: the dispositions that teachers need in order to participate in global engagement in a meaningful way.  Drawing on research from critical theory, psychology and student development theory, this paper describes five dispositions that are essential for preparing teachers for global engagement. These dispositions include curiosity, tolerance for ambiguity, reflexivity, flexibility and persistence.  These dispositions are not independent of one another and are required in different degrees, depending on the global context being investigated. Today children's rights are protected by laws, regulated in various documents; public educational programmes are being created, institutions are being established not only in Lithuania but also abroad. The objective of this article is to disclose possibilities of implementation of children's rights in a preschool educational institution. Theoretic aspects of implementation of children's rights in a preschool educational institution are discussed, peculiarities of children's rights implementation possibilities in preschool educational institutions are analysed in the article. A research is presented in the article wherein 240 preschool education pedagogues participated. The research results show that possibilities of implementation of the rights of the child in a preschool education institution are maximum: application of proper measures; cooperation of parents whose children attend preschool educational institutions and pedagogues; solution of problems emerged by using the help of children's rights experts. It was discovered that implementation of children's rights in preschool educational institutions is taking place smoothly, no major problems and violations are noticed and the problems emerged are being solved. The present article analyses effectiveness of track and field classes with optimized content and an increased number of such on pupils’ physical fitness performance results. The pedagogical experiment was conducted at Klaipeda “Versme” basic school in Lithuania, introducing the experimental program of optimized track and field classes to 5-6 grades with a total number of 107 pupils making the sample. The experimental group had a higher number of track and field classes and a different distribution of hours for individual practical track and field events. Obtained results allowed to conclude that a developed program for classes with optimized track and field content and an extended duration of its implementation among 5-6 grades improved physical fitness results of pupils, falling into the experimental group. The greatest effect among research participants of the experimental group was noticed on boys’ balance (p<0.001), stamina (p<0.001), explosive power (p<0.001), and static arm strength (p<0.001) results, while for girls – on balance (p<0.001), stamina (p<0.05), explosive power (p<0.05), and static arm strength (p<0.01) results. Physical activity forms an integral daily part of a child’s life, at home and school. Its practice is natural and spontaneous, and it is considered synonymous with good health. Physical activity is necessary to children’s general, staturoponderal, motor, psychological and social development. Increased motor activity observed children with psycho-neurological disorders indicates one of the exhaustion phases. In order to suggest a correct amount and intensity of physical activities, it is required to determine the level of the functional abilities of an organism. The purpose of this research was to evaluate the functional abilities in pupils with psycho-neurological disturbances, aged 13±2, after the individual biofeedback breathing program had been used. We used the method of heart rhythm variability (HRV) analysis. This method is used to analyse and assess the regulatory system of the physiological functions of a human body. The research sample consisted of 104 school learners (gender distribution: 52.9% male and 47.1% female) from the mainstream school of Lithuania (Klaipeda and Kretinga). The present article develops and analyzes results obtained from the boy group of the sample. Research methods: analysis of relevant scientific research, a questionnaire, and statistical analysis. The obtained research results have demonstrated certain differences between the group of physically active and physically inactive male adolescents. Results have shown that physically active male students more so than physically inactive ones tend to resist peers’ influence to disobey the rules and are able to control their behavior, stand up for their beliefs even in cases a competitor plays unfair. However, physically inactive boys as opposed to physically active ones witness occasions of unfair play and noncompliance with the rules less often. Physically inactive boys perceive any behavior of an athlete breaking the rules as unacceptable; they cheat less often and attempt not to harm the competitor in any way. This is because they do not appreciate a victory achieved at any cost and unfair play, which is very often justified among physically active boys. But it is observed, that especially in the period of adolescence activeness of studying in music schools goes away, the unwillingness is growing, the problems of motivation increase. The goal of this research is to examine and analyse peculiarities of learning motivation while studying at music school during the period of adolescence.
