To achieve this goal, 10 participants who had experienced problematic gambling in South Korea were selected, and the data were collected through 1 on 1 interview. The collected data were analyzed with deducted content analysis proposed by Elo and Kyngäs(2008). A categorization matrix was constructed based on the prior studies on the motivational traits in online gambling, and the matrix was utilized during the analysis. As result, 8 categories including 'accessibility,' 'convenience,' digitalization (unreality),' 'anonymity,' 'diversity,' 'attraction strategies,' 'management strategies,' and 'unrestrictedness' and 19 traits in online gambling in South Korea were discovered. Since there had been rare attempts to identify the motivational factors in online gambling in South Korea, this study demonstrated the new approach to separate online and offline gambling. Also, this study reflected the unique traits of Korea where most gambling behaviors are illegal. Finally, this study proposed several practical and political implications to regulate online gambling and recover from problematic online gambling. \u0000

For this purpose, this study conducted frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and structural equation model mediating effect analysis, using the data of 3,570 elderly women in the 7th wave of the 'Korean Longitudinal Study of Aging' data. The results are summarized as follows: First, it was found that the higher the subjective health in middle and old aged women, the higher their life satisfaction. Second, the effect of subjective health in middle and old aged women on their life satisfaction was found to be partially mediated by depression. Based on these findings, policy implications for improving the life satisfaction of middle and old aged women were suggested. \u0000

We used the data of 250 adolescents, who participated in the Adolescent School Dropouts Panel Survey, between 2014 and 2017. Data were analyzed using SPSS 25.0 and Amos 23.0 for computing descriptive statistics and a potential growth model for career barriers and suicidal ideation, respectively, among adolescent school dropouts. The analysis demonstrated a change in adolescent school dropouts’ perceptions of career barriers and suicidal ideation. Furthermore, adolescent school dropouts’ career barriers had a significant effect on suicidal ideation. These findings emphasize the need for an integrated approach to implement career support interventions for exploration and experience, alongside preventive measures to reduce the risk of suicide among adolescent school dropouts. Thus, the current study results prompt a discussion on the need to establish a social support system for adolescent school dropouts and their healthy integration into the society and provide future research recommendations. \u0000

The life of a civilization captured by tools, technology, money, organization (system), and writing causes the person to lose self as life. Instead, it leads to a mechanical life, leading to a lack of life sensibility such as various deficiencies, anxiety, obsession, and indulgence. Such vital susceptibility deficiency symptoms are also pointed out as the cause of addiction. Therefore, this study investigated the relationship between life and addiction, civilization and society, addiction society, and life susceptibility as a response to the addiction society, and suggested the necessity and method of improving the sensitivity of life. In addition, it was intended to propose an understanding of addiction from the perspective of life in our society where studies and policies to manage addiction as a disease are dominant. \u0000

As a result of examining the structural relationship model, it was confirmed that irrational beliefs of middle school students increased self-harm behavior, but the effects of dysfunctional anger expression and suicide accidents on self-harm behaviors could be affected by adaptive, maladaptive and cognitive emotional control. Adaptive cognitive emotion control increases self-harm behavior by increasing the positive effects on dysfunctional anger and suicidal thoughts, and adaptive cognitive emotional control positively affects dysfunctional anger expression, suicidal thoughts and self-harm Negative effects on behavior lower suicidal thoughts and reduce self-harm behavior. In-depth interviews and focus group interviews were conducted with twenty participants which were composed of service users and experts in the service area for children, youth, single parents, the elderly, the disabled, community services. It is found that service users attempted to obtain social service information in a number of ways such as the access to public organization and searching in the internet by themselves. However, they experienced difficulties in acquiring the information since the contents and format of it was not provided in a proper way given the particular difficulties and needs of the users. Moreover, the systematic supports was not provided in the processes of using information. The study strongly emphasizes that the right of access to information should be understood as ‘social rights’ and suggests some policy measures, such as the provision of customized information service and the preemptive provision of information through case finding. \u0000
