Applying Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method is to find the best online shopping platform to begin e-commerce. Traditional retail market is usually the purchase store that is to buy food and daily necessities place of the Taiwan people. However, according to the consumers lifestyle change, the fresh supermarkets and e-commerce development, there are to cause loss the customers of traditional markets. In Taiwan, according to Market Intelligence & Consulting institute (MIC) research online shopping market is grow NT$71,700 million in 2008, it is more than global growth rate. Thus, online shopping market is important. First, the study follows literature review to find six important factors (shop fee, annual fee, publication costs, transaction costs, shop constraints and security) by shopping platform vendors, merchants and customers; Secondly, applying expert questionnaires method that according to six factors to choice the six shopping platform (yahoo auction, ruten auction, rakuten ichiba, ihergo, PChome online shopping mall and yahoo super mall) in Taiwan. Finally, the best choice is ihergo online shopping platform through AHP method. More generally, the work carried out in this paper is an example of illustration of how AHP can be used as a decision-support tool. The study will promote the AHP method in decision-making management application.","PeriodicalId":409538,"journal":{"name":"2010 7th International Conference on Service Systems and Service Management","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-06-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114130441","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A series of simulating experiments are employed to examine the characteristics of this model. The simulating results reveal the complex influence of capacity constraint on the supply chain system. For one-echelon systems, complex behaviors can be simplified by the constraint. However, for two-echelon systems, when the upstream firm is constrained by production capacity, chaotic ordering behaviors may occur. In this paper, Lyapunov exponent and bifurcation diagrams show their strong abilities for measuring the system complexity level. The findings of this research suggest that if supply chain members are subject to production capacity, they should adopt effective measures to avoid operating complexity and make use of beneficial effects induced by production capacity.","PeriodicalId":409538,"journal":{"name":"2010 7th International Conference on Service Systems and Service Management","volume":"211 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-06-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122805969","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper studies the service quality of wireless broadband internet applications from the consumer's viewpoint by conducted a questionnaire survey and statistical analysis. The design of questionnaire is based on Gronroos quality model. The attributes of wireless broadband internet service are categorized into various applications and survey the importance and satisfaction degree by sampling users from public places and private business respectively. There are 51 items were factor analyzed and six constructs emerged and the gap between expectation and satisfaction is further tested. The result reveals that most consumers had higher expectation for wireless broadband internet applications but perceived lower satisfaction after operation. The implications of finding are further discussed in this paper.","PeriodicalId":409538,"journal":{"name":"2010 7th International Conference on Service Systems and Service Management","volume":"45 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-06-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131371841","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, overseas oil imports exists such as piracy attacks, line accident and other risk during transportation, so a reasonable choice of transportation paths can control cost, reduce risk. A multi-objective transportation problem which considering distance and risk in the supply of oil import is presented. Then a mathematic model of this transportation problem is established. Based on a fuzzy programming algorithm distributing in the partial big-scale parabola, and then solving the model by a distance-risk matrix for a optimal compromise solution, finally with the actual data about China's crude oil imports in 2006 for the model verification, in order to provide policy suggest for china to choosing reasonable transportation paths.","PeriodicalId":409538,"journal":{"name":"2010 7th International Conference on Service Systems and Service Management","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-06-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130193526","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To choose a proper indicator, besides the characteristics of the disease, some social cultural factors have to be taken into consideration. According to the specialty of elective cesarean section and Chinese social and cultural characteristics, the measurement of \"patient satisfaction\" was chosen as the suitable indicator to judge the effect of CP. And a controlled trial of CP of elective cesarean section was conducted in a Chinese hospital. A total of 232 satisfaction survey results were collected. Usually, the survey data collected from CP group and control group are regarded as in the same quality level so they are directly compared with each other to demonstrate the effectiveness of CP. However, in this paper, the quality difference between the two sets of trial data is explored. And a data process (RVAM) method is proposed and tested with the practical data. This paper demonstrates that CP can improve the survey data quality through stimulating interactions between patients and the medical staff. RVAM can be employed to improve the survey data quality further. In addition, some meaningful service quality improvement strategies are obtained with better data.","PeriodicalId":409538,"journal":{"name":"2010 7th International Conference on Service Systems and Service Management","volume":"255 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-06-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134405406","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
