Digital watermarks are highly dependent on the installation platform and OS, and cannot be applied universally, although their components are often used by various developers. In addition, with the recent diversification in the functions available via Web applications and mobile applications, the scope of development has increased considerably, becoming a real and substantive problem. In particular, cryptographic technology and DRM technology including digital watermarking, which require high performance and place a high load on systems due to their complex operation processing, are considered to be relatively difficult to implement. In this study, we aim to develop object-oriented solutions for these uncertain problems, focusing in particular on architecture and implementation.","PeriodicalId":409538,"journal":{"name":"2010 7th International Conference on Service Systems and Service Management","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-06-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128407326","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper investigates two inventory-decision models of a two-echelon dual-channel distribution system consists of a manufacturer with an Internet-enabled channel at the top echelon and a retailer store at the bottom echelon. Firstly, the joint production and pricing decisions are made with a centralized view, and then under the decentralized system, the manufacturer only operates an E-channel while the retailer operates a traditional channel, their own production/ordering and pricing are made to maximize their own expected profits with a Stackelberg game. Finally, some inferences are developed by comparisons between two decisions models, and a critical conclusion is that, a franchise outlet/two part tariff contract, designed by the manufacturer, as the Stackelberg game leader, can not ensure the coordination of dual-channel system under price-dependent demand and the condition that the retailer has pricing power for traditional channel.","PeriodicalId":409538,"journal":{"name":"2010 7th International Conference on Service Systems and Service Management","volume":"62 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-06-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134204118","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It consists of not only a company's business goal and products but also those of customers and those of customers of customers. The resultant whole is supply chain of service. This formulation of the mode of service system will help us to understand the systemic nature that the functions of service supply chain can be realized by many ways and there is no strict relation among functions and their realization. Also, this formulation reveals that service innovation is nothing but change of mode of service systems. We apply the framework to the development of containerized ocean transportation service.","PeriodicalId":409538,"journal":{"name":"2010 7th International Conference on Service Systems and Service Management","volume":"416 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-06-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134418346","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Current methods of customer lifecycle prediction are built on complete database. While the transaction volume, number of transactions and other numerical information are missing, those methods do not work. Here we try to predict telecom customer lifecycle based on the database of off-net customer which has only the information of demographics, then extract the demographics of the determinants of the classification of customer lifecycle by CART tree, finally gain the lifecycle of in-net customer. This model is applied for telecom operator in some province in China and good accuracy is achieved.","PeriodicalId":409538,"journal":{"name":"2010 7th International Conference on Service Systems and Service Management","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-06-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133060629","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The customer satisfaction is to keep their machine good condition and the customer can utilize machine whenever they want to utilize it. On the other hands our benefit is not only profit through our sales of machine itself, parts and service but also information from machine related to their performance, durability and utilization data. In order to implement both tasks we have developed several IT systems such as Komtrax (Komatsu Trucking system) for general construction machine and VHMS (Vehicle Health Monitoring system) for mining equipment through satellite communication or mobile network. We can obtain several data, for example, machine position, operating hours, error codes, fuel consumption and trend health data of each component. We can access the machinery positively without customer call and offer several services to keep machine good condition. In this paper I would like to mention more details about Komtrax and VHMS including the outline of our service operation.","PeriodicalId":409538,"journal":{"name":"2010 7th International Conference on Service Systems and Service Management","volume":"72 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-06-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130277089","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Most previous studies require the specification of a minimum similarity threshold to perform cosine similarity search. However, it is usually difficult for users to provide an appropriate threshold in practice. Instead, in this paper, we propose to search top-K strongly related pairs of objects as measured by the cosine similarity. Specifically, we first define the cosine similarity measure from the association analysis point of view and identify the monotone property of an upper bound of the cosine measure, then exploit a Max-First traversal strategy for developing the TOP-MATA algorithm. Compared with previous TOP-DATA method, TOP-MATA has the advantage of saving the computations for false-positive item pairs. Finally, experimental results demonstrate the computational efficiency of the algorithm.","PeriodicalId":409538,"journal":{"name":"2010 7th International Conference on Service Systems and Service Management","volume":"69 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-06-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129273142","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
