Every day, we receive milk packets early in the morning from the milkman who delivers them by putting them in a basket that we pre-attach to our doors or simply fix in the door. Sometimes, the packets are stolen by somebody or wasted by dogs/cats or by any other means. Additionally, it can be difficult to remember on which day we or the milkman missed receiving or delivering the milk packet. For this purpose, customers generally mark the dates on calendars, and at the end of the month, the bill is calculated manually. In order to address these issues, we have developed the “Smart Milk Box,” which secures the milk packet and keeps track of how many milk packets are received daily, as well as whether they are received or not. It generates the total bill at the end of each month. The milk delivery person only needs to put the milk packet in the box; after that, the customer can use an app to view the missed delivery dates of the milk packets and see how many milk packets are in the box.","PeriodicalId":407488,"journal":{"name":"2023 2nd International Conference on Vision Towards Emerging Trends in Communication and Networking Technologies (ViTECoN)","volume":"78 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126160686","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Encoding techniques have recently gained attention as a potentially useful strategy for lowering the amount of power that a NoC design requires. These techniques intend to alter the manner in which data is transmitted through the communication stack in order to cut down on the number of transitions in the data and, as a consequence, lower the amount of power that is consumed. This paper presents an overview of data encoding techniques that can be used for NoC and discusses the effectiveness of these techniques in lowering the amount of energy that is consumed. Additionally, the importance of energy efficiency as a design constraint for modern SoCs is emphasised throughout the course of this paper. Based on the findings, it appears that data encoding techniques are a viable option for lowering the level of energy consumption in NoCs and have a significant bearing on the level of energy efficiency achieved by contemporary SoCs.","PeriodicalId":407488,"journal":{"name":"2023 2nd International Conference on Vision Towards Emerging Trends in Communication and Networking Technologies (ViTECoN)","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120900679","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Failure to diagnose it early can result in blindness. If DR is diagnosed and treated early on, the risk of permanent vision loss can be drastically reduced. Unlike computer-aided diagnosis systems, the time, effort, and expense involved in manually diagnosing DR retina fundus images by ophthalmologists is significant. Medical image analysis and classification are two domains where deep learning has recently become widespread. Convolutional neural networks are the preferred deep learning method when it comes to evaluating medical images. In this study, a method for detecting diabetic retinopathy was presented using DiaNet Model (DNM). The Gabor filter is employed in the retinal Image Pre-processing phase for the purpose of improving the visibility of blood vessels as well as for texture analysis, object recognition, feature extraction, and image compression. In Image Augmentation stage, the dataset's input dimensions are reduced using Principal Component Analysis (PCA). The DNM Model can benefit from a reduction in the number of attributes under certain conditions. A mean classification accuracy of 90.02% was observed, which is significantly higher than state-of-the-art methods.","PeriodicalId":407488,"journal":{"name":"2023 2nd International Conference on Vision Towards Emerging Trends in Communication and Networking Technologies (ViTECoN)","volume":"68 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129670746","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For any business, educational institution, or defense force, communication has become a crucial instrument. Data transfer must be done safely and securely. Many cryptographic methods have been suggested and put into use as of late. Based on the quantity of keys employed, those algorithms are divided into asymmetric and symmetric algorithms. Although numerous algorithms are employed to protect data, they occasionally breach its security. At now, the goal is to combine a number of safe methods to create a highly secure data transmission environment. The RSA asymmetric method, the SHA256 hashing technique, and the symmetric cryptographic algorithms AES and Twofish will all be merged. These methods enable us to guarantee the secrecy, authentication, and data integrity of three cryptography fundamentals. For text encryption, a number of security analysts are utilized, including differential analysis, histogram, information entropy, secret key size and key sensitivity. The suggested technique offers a high degree of security, a rise in key size, and a better encryption scheme according to the findings of numerical simulation for text encryption.","PeriodicalId":407488,"journal":{"name":"2023 2nd International Conference on Vision Towards Emerging Trends in Communication and Networking Technologies (ViTECoN)","volume":"130 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127354003","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The area of autonomous mobile robots has recently piqued numerous researchers' interest. Due to the unique requirements of many applications of mobile robot systems, particularly in the area of localisation, robot mapping and line following have become the backbone of directing robots in an unfamiliar environment. A theoretical basis for SLAM and occupancy grids, which are employed in this work to build maps, is provided in this paper. The E-Puck robot is utilised in this project, and the simulation is done in the Webots program using Python. The E-Puck robot was successfully programmed and controlled in this experiment to locate and map an unknownarea. To cope with the uncertainty of robot posture in SLAM and self-localisation during navigation, we employ the ExtendedKalman filter (EKF). The mapping (occupancy grid) has been completed, and the robot may now travel through the surroundings using it. Using simulation results, we demonstratethat the robot system can find itself, construct an environment map, and navigate (teleoperation) in the environments.","PeriodicalId":407488,"journal":{"name":"2023 2nd International Conference on Vision Towards Emerging Trends in Communication and Networking Technologies (ViTECoN)","volume":"62 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124056324","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The emergence of various logics like modified GDI circuit, pass transistor logic and transmission gate logic have led to the development of various mixed logic circuits to improve performance. The fundamental difference between these logics is the providing of input signal to the gate and source terminals in the transistor. This work tries to come up with a mixed logic aiming for power and delay reduction which could be used for decoder design and the same have been compared in terms of metrics. The basic circuit of decoder has been simulated and analyzed using Cadence Virtuoso. Reduction of power and delay has been observed while using mixed logic design. The designed decoder circuit has been used as the base to design the full adder and significant performance improvement is noticed. The paper looks into the existing circuit used to realize the decoder and proposes a circuit using mixed logic style for achieving better performance.","PeriodicalId":407488,"journal":{"name":"2023 2nd International Conference on Vision Towards Emerging Trends in Communication and Networking Technologies (ViTECoN)","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121376298","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this case, the patient is obliged to visit a diagnostic centre persistently to get their reports and after consultation investing time and currency on it will be inconvenient. Because of these reasons, outcomes may be severe if unnoticed. An increase in machine learning approaches solves this crucial disadvantage. The objective of this study is to create a method that helps to achieve an early prediction of diabetics with higher precision using random forest algorithm. The degree of precision is higher than other algorithms, with random forest we achieved an accuracy of 85.6% and found to be better algorithm for diabetic prediction comparing with other algorithms such as logistic regression, Naive Bayes, Gradient boosting classifier, KNN and SVM. Random forest yields effective outcomes for predicting diabetics and the result showed that the predictive method can predict the diabetics.","PeriodicalId":407488,"journal":{"name":"2023 2nd International Conference on Vision Towards Emerging Trends in Communication and Networking Technologies (ViTECoN)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129289111","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The IRS modifies the phase shifts of passive reflecting components to manage the propagation of incoming electromagnetic waves in a programmable way. In this paper, we aim to study joint active and passive beamforming in an multiple-input single-output (MISO) downlink single user scenario in a generalized fading model. To optimize the user's received signal power, joint active and passive i.e., transmit and reflect beamforming is employed. By considering the CSI is present at the IRS, the technique semidefinite relaxation (SDR) is used. Owing to the importance of generalized fading models, in this work we considered $kappa-mu$ fading channel to capture its effect on joint active-passive beamforming. A thorough analysis indicates that the received signal-to-noise ratio is largely influenced by the characteristics of signal fading. The obtained results will be helpful in analysing the augumented performance of IRS-aided communication system in a generalized manner over the traditional setup without IRS.","PeriodicalId":407488,"journal":{"name":"2023 2nd International Conference on Vision Towards Emerging Trends in Communication and Networking Technologies (ViTECoN)","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129171521","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The Internet of Things (IoT) plays an important role in resolving the landslide problem. It poses a serious threat to humans and harms the world's various forms of poverty and surface environment. As we all know, landslides occur naturally, so we don't know when they occur. It is critical to obtain a precise location in order to rescue the people. We can get information from satellites and the different sensors that are embedded in them. It makes it simple to create landslide databases, locate landslide-prone areas, and create a safe environment for people and nature. We can avoid several environmental damages if we can detect or predict landslides. As a result, we must devise a solution that allows us to obtain information quickly and accurately. Landslides mainly occur due to climate change in the environment. The primary goal of this proposed work is to solve and avoid naturally occurring catastrophes or calamities by providing information as early as possible by computing the machine learning algorithm in the supplied data set. There are numerous reasons for establishing such an environment for disaster reduction, in which the sensor detects the element and immediately sends the data, and different learning algorithms are utilized to provide information to the people about the catastrophe. It is low-cost and simple to install, and it may be utilized by a semi-skilled individual. The algorithm is fed with various parameters and processed to gain its respective output.
