Abdominal cramps are one of the most common problems experienced by teenage girls during menstruation. Abdominal cramps occur due to the pulling of smooth muscles in the uterus which is usually followed by migraines, abdominal pain, weakness and excruciating pain. The average incidence of menstrual pain or dysmenorrhea in the world shows that more than 50% percent of women experience primary dysmenorrhea in Indonesia reaching 64. 25% with the category of 89% primary dysmenorrhea and 9.36% secondary dysmenorrhea. The purpose of this study is to examine scientific articles which discusses the reduction of menstrual pain in adolescents. Methods: The method used in this study is a literature review with data collection techniques using the Google Scholar, Pubmed, and e-resources database based on inclusion criteria, among others, the intervention in the form of giving sour turmeric stew, using the quasi experiment or pre experimental design or literature review method, using indonesian and english, published within 10 years (2011-2021). Respondents are teenagers who experience dysmenorrhea. Journals are accessible to the public. Results: The results showed that based on the study conducted, it can be seen that turmeric acid drink can reduce menstrual pain levels in adolescent girls because sour turmeric drinks contain curcumin and anthocyanins which are analgesics and antipyretics that function as pain relievers. Conclusions: So it is expected that young women consume traditional drinks, namely sour turmeric drinks when experiencing menstrual pain to reduce the pain they feel.","PeriodicalId":406973,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Vocational Nursing","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130230204","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The most effective therapy for chronic kidney failure is the prevention of risk factors, one of which is the habit of consuming coffee that contains high caffeine. Caffeine in coffee can increase renin resulting in increased blood flow and decreased glomerular filtration rate. The aim of this research is to analyzed the pattern of coffee consumption as a risk factor for chronic kidney failure in Dr. Soeroto Ngawi Hospital. Methods: This research method is correlation with case control approach. The sample in this study consisted of: 34 respondents in the case group, 34 in the control group (sick), and 34 respondents in the control group (healthy). The sampling technique was purposive sampling. Univariate data analysis using descriptive statistics and bivariate analysis using chi square test. Methods: This study uses a quantitative descriptive method using a quasi-experimental research design. Sampling in this study used a time series design, by comparing the post-test and pre-test scores with the number of respondents 30 school-age children who were in the Sindang Panon residence. Results: The results in the pre-test and post-test control groups obtained an average value of 102.07 with a standard deviation (pre-test) of 10.215 and (post-test) of 9.903. In the experimental group, the pre-test got an average value of 67.47 with a standard deviation of 9.862, the post-test got a value of 97.73 with a standard deviation of 13,541. In this study, a p value of 0.000 was obtained which can be concluded that there is an influence between learning concentration before and after being given murotal Qur'an therapy. PGK is currently it is one of the many diseases that have become a concern in the world including in Indonesia. One phenomenon that often occurs is an increase in fluid volume between two times of dialysis. The purpose of this study was to find out the long relationship between hemodialysis and excess fluid volume status in patients with chronic renal failure in the Hemodialysis room at Ibnu Sina Gresik Hospital. This was an analytical study with a correlative analytic design. Data were collected by using the contingency coefficient. The result of this study shows that older respondents underwent <1 year of hemodialysis with excess fluid status >2,5 BB post HD as much 81,2%, which is more dominant than patients who undergo > 1-year hemodialysis with excess fluid status >2,5 BB post HD as much 58% of the total resulting in p-value 0,103 where p>0,05 so it can be concluded that there is no long relationship to undergo hemodialysis with excess fluid volume status in patients with chronic kidney disease. Hyperbilirubinemia can cause various complications and death if not treated properly and immediately. The knowledge and ability of nurses in providing nursing care for neonatal jaundice still need to be improved. This study aims to describe nursing care for neonatal jaundice in hyperbilirubinemia infants. Methods: This study uses a case study approach design through the nursing process with a sample of a hyperbilirubinemia baby with neonatal jaundice nursing problems. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observations, physical examinations and documentation studies. Data analysis in this study uses narrative analysis. Results: The case report found jaundice on the skin, sclera, and mucosa. The nursing diagnosis in this study was neonatal jaundice associated with less than 7 days of age. In the world and in Indonesia, they are experiencing environmental challenges due to the 3 burdens of malnutrition which may worsen due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Children can face various kinds of malnutrition due to poor eating patterns, parenting applications that are not optimal. The government has determined stunting as one of the priority programs. Preschool-aged children are included in the nutritionally vulnerable group of people, namely the group of people who are most susceptible to nutritional disorders, while at this time they are experiencing a relatively rapid growth process. One of the significant aspects that affect the nutritional status of children is the aspect of mother's knowledge about nutrition in children. Objective : This study aims to determine the level of knowledge of the relationship between the level of knowledge and motivation of mothers about balanced nutrition with nutritional status in preschool children aged 3-6 years. Methods: This research is quantitative in nature using correlational descriptive techniques with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study was 100 people and the number of samples taken using the Slovin formula was 80 people using purposive sampling technique. This study uses univariate and bivariate analysis with Chi Square test. Results: based on univariate analysis of 80 people the majority with a high level of knowledge as many as 61 people (76.3%), sufficient motivation as many as 62 people (77.5%) and nutritional status normal children as many as 37 children (46.3%). The results of the bivariate analysis with the chi square test were obtained for the level of knowledge with nutritional status p-value 0.026, and the results of the bivariate analysis of mother's motivation with nutritional status p-value 0.006, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between the level of knowledge and motivation of mothers about balanced nutrition with the nutritional status of children aged preschool 3-6 years.
