The benefits and authority bestowed by the complex social structures, which are dominated by men, impose values, practices, morals, habits, and beliefs that compel women to endure men's aggression. Domestic violence is any violence committed by a large group against women who are involved in personal relationships. In Nepalese society, violence against women is still a very severe and taboo issue. The primary goals of the study was to sketch out the socio-demographic profile of Nepalgunj Ward 12 and to pinpoint the root causes of domestic violence against women as well as to gather suggestions for its prevention and eradication. The households were chosen using a planned sample technique. Descriptive statistics were employed in the analysis of the results, including frequency, percentage, and graph. Physical and psychological abuse accounts for 7.5% and 92.5%, respectively, of all domestic violence cases. Traditional violence as it has historically been connected was not reported by the respondents. Violence exists nowhere in the research location, hence there is no dowry-related violence there. The majority of the abuses, or 47.5%, include aggressive acts committed while intoxicated. The majority of abusers engage in violent behavior on weekends. A small percentage of the women beat their partners when they were expecting, and a few of them required medical attention as a result. The study found that the most effective methods for reducing domestic violence are counseling, income production initiatives, adult literacy and awareness training, and the prohibition of alcohol, gambling, and marijuana.","PeriodicalId":406267,"journal":{"name":"Academia Research Journal","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123358282","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

With the development of Western literature, its influence has increased tremendously along with its entry into world literature. The article is based on Hridaychandra Singh Pradhan's Ek Chihan novel and its narration on women's exploitation at family, society & economic and their resistance as the subject of the study. Marxist feminism is main basis for the analysis of the novel. The library is used for the collection of materials and the novel is analyzed by creating an analysis framework from the collected materials. The novel analyzes the unequal treatment of a husband towards his wife, sexual exploitation of a young woman by enticement and lure and patriachal male mentality.  The novel summarizes the perspective for the women to act against all types of injustices and oppression against them.","PeriodicalId":406267,"journal":{"name":"Academia Research Journal","volume":"43 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124003949","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A number of problems related to the production and marketing of crafts in the Dang District have been identified. The supply of handcraft was found to be less today than ten years ago in terms of quality, quantity, and variation of products. At the same time, it was observed that the commercialization of baskets only few of the traditional basket designs remain. Due to the absence of an overall national promotion scheme, the exports of crafts from the Dang District is said to be unorganized and underdeveloped. It was further noted that activities by the government geared towards craft development and marketing such as craft exhibitions has put more emphasis on basketry at the same time neglecting other crafts in the region especially craftwork. Lastly, it was mentioned that ever since the commercialization of Baskets in the Dang, natural resources have been over-utilized. \u0000 ","PeriodicalId":406267,"journal":{"name":"Academia Research Journal","volume":"39 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132495653","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study employed a descriptive and causal comparative research methodology to examine the employees of Bank of Kathmandu Ltd., established in Banke and Bardiya District, in order to determine the relationship between dependent factors, such as employee performance, and independent variables (i.e. age diversity, gender diversity, ethnic diversity, and level of education). The study is based on first-hand information. The descriptive design aids in determining the employees' basic backgrounds, and the casual comparative research design aids in determining the impact and connections between each independent variable and dependent variable. The research reveals that all independent variables—including age, gender, ethnicity, and educational attainment—have a statistically significant positive connection with the dependent variable (i.e. organization effectiveness). There are increased chances of establishing organizational success there as each group's diversity grows, and vice versa. Similar to how all independent variables have an effect on dependent variables, such as organization effectiveness, are age diversity, gender diversity, ethnic diversity, and degree of education. As a result, the effectiveness of the organization is influenced by each of the independent variables.","PeriodicalId":406267,"journal":{"name":"Academia Research Journal","volume":"115 1-2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133329513","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

They are a group of traditional dancers and cultural performers from the upper caste of Muslims. Muslims from the Dalit community work as wage laborers in agriculture and construction. Despite spending a lot of time in the Terai region of Nepal, they are poor and landless. The primary goal of this study is to examine the socioeconomic situation of the Kingariya community in Kingariyanpurwa, Puraini, in the Banke district. In this study, a descriptive and exploratory research design was used. The socioeconomic situation of the Kingariya people is generally described in chronological sequence in this study design. Both primary and secondary data are used in this investigation. Interviews were used to gather primary data from the field survey, while secondary data came from the Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolitan Office, private agencies, government offices, numerous research publications, and other pertinent literature and websites on the internet. The 26 Dalit Muslim households in this study area make up the study's target population. To determine the socioeconomic status of the dalit Muslim community, a purposeful sample technique was chosen. The small population of Dalit Muslims lives in Puraini, Nepalgunj. In the 56 total households for the household survey, there were 26 Kingariya households, or 50% of all households. The study's conclusion is that Muslims live in a socioeconomically deplorable situation. They are hardworking, straightforward, and illiterate, yet they are also poor. High cast has complete control over them in all aspect of life. The socioeconomic status of the Muslim population has had both positive and negative effects over time.","PeriodicalId":406267,"journal":{"name":"Academia Research Journal","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122366331","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

On the basis of their similarity and difference, the purpose is to solve the possible problems in teaching and learning. This is a qualitative research design based on purposive sampling. The primary participants (A and B) of this study are two native speakers of Doteli who are from the Kailali district, Nepal. The interview was held based on structured questions. Further data was collected from books and other published resources. The collected data were analysed on the basis of similarities and differences between those two languages. It was concluded that there is a possible chance to commit errors Doteli first language speakers to learn Nepali as the second language. It is believed that this study will be useful to those who want to carry out study in grammatical categories.","PeriodicalId":406267,"journal":{"name":"Academia Research Journal","volume":"45 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127279577","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Job satisfaction among teachers reflects their high levels of professional motivation. This study investigated the effect of demographic factors on job satisfaction among secondary mathematics teachers in the Kathmandu Municipality. In quantitative research, a cross-sectional survey research design was used in this study. The data was collected through a validated structural questionnaire, which consisted of ten items on job satisfaction and eight demographic variables. The structural questionnaire was administered to a sample of 136 mathematics teachers over the course of one month (17 August–16 September). Data were entered in SPSS Version 26, and frequency, percentage, and multiple linear regression were used in the analysis of the data. The results of this study revealed that there is no statistically significant effect of demographic variables on the job satisfaction of mathematics teachers. Based on the findings of this study, I contend that demographic variables have no effect on job satisfaction among mathematics teachers. The study's limitations include the fact that demographic variables (gender, age, school type, school area, teaching experiences, educational level, and job position) explained only 6% of the variation in job satisfaction. Future research should be done on a larger scale to increase the number of demographic variables and sample sizes in other parts of Nepal and by other subjects' teachers. Similar studies could be done with basic-level and university-level mathematics teachers in Nepal.","PeriodicalId":406267,"journal":{"name":"Academia Research Journal","volume":"13 3","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120812777","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study uses both primary and secondary data in accordance with its needs. During the field survey, the sampled unit's primary data is chosen using a structured questionnaire and an interview. In this study, both quantitative and qualitative data have been gathered and employed. Secondary information is gathered from the Kohalpur Municipality ward number 10 survey 2078. Judgment/deliberate non-random sampling have been used to choose the research households. There are 950 houses and 5148 people in total among these wards. Only 50 of the total number of households were chosen by me among them. They range in age from 16 to 59, with 25 of them employed and 25 not. The study's conclusion is that the majority of Nepalese women reside in rural areas where their options for employment are confined to agricultural work on farms, many of which are held by their father, spouse, landowners, or siblings. Women in Nepal aren't allowed to own property, so they must work on men's land from dawn till sunset to support themselves and their families.  Therefore, males are responsible for ensuring that women have the means to survive not only in external affairs but also in their own domestic issues, which are an essential component of their life.","PeriodicalId":406267,"journal":{"name":"Academia Research Journal","volume":"92 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128664573","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The major goals of this study were to look at the inflation fluctuations in Nepal, to display the weighted structure of the CPI there, and to investigate the factors that affect inflation. The stationarity of the time series data was examined using the ADF test, and the cointegration between the variables was examined using the Engle-Granger test. The OLS method was used to estimate the long-run model. For the model's short run dynamism, the ECM model was also used. Throughout the research years, the inflation tendency has experienced significant swings. . Inflation peaked at 132.8 million in the fiscal year 1920, and it peaked at 4.1 in the fiscal year 1975. The ADF test result reveals that all variables become stationary only after the first difference, or I (1), for all variables utilized in this investigation. The long run OLS model is free from spurious regression, according to the Engle-Granger cointegration test, which shows that variables are cointegrated. The long-run OLS model demonstrates that government spending and Indian inflation have a positive and considerable impact on Nepalese inflation. For instance, an increase of 1% in the Indian consumer price index, government spending, and the currency rate results in increases of 0.70, 0.12, and 0.16 percent in the NCPI, respectively. According to the results of the ECM model, government spending and the Indian consumer price index have a positive and considerable impact on the consumer price index in Nepal in the short term. When government spending and the Indian consumer price index both grow by 1%, the corresponding increases in Nepal's consumer price index are 0.69 and 0.13 percent, respectively. While in the near term, the exchange rate has little impact on the consumer price index for Nepal. The NCPI and other explanatory variables are convergent into long-run equilibrium, according to the coefficient of ECM (-1), which is negative and significant at the 1% level. \u0000           ","PeriodicalId":406267,"journal":{"name":"Academia Research Journal","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125579998","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In Salman Rushdie's novel Shame, the concept of shame refers to the national shame caused by an attack on democracy. From the standpoint of New Historicism, the work contains several traces and pieces of history relating to the military takeover during Bhutto's government in Pakistan. In Rushdie's Shame, physical details and cruel and horrible acts cover numerous historical truths. Suffiya is a representation of the shame she experienced. She first expresses the shame through her normally ashamed expression. Later, the internal guilt manifests as disease. She keeps feeling more and more ashamed. In this study, a fragment of historical truth about the military coup and the ensuing loss of democracy in Pakistan is indirectly examined beneath the literary specifics of Salman Rushdie's novel Shame. In order to show how Zia's military coup overthrows democracy, the study claims that Rushdie makes many allusions to historical truth that are concealed under fiction and fantasy. The researcher uses the theory of New Historicism, particularly those interpretative tools advanced by Michel Foucault and Stephen Greenblatt, to interpret the text. As part of a qualitative research project, Salman Rushdie’s novel Shame was analyzed using the literary device of new historicism. The study came to the conclusion that Rushdie's Shame uses fiction and fantasy to depict the traces of historical fragments. By fictionalizing official history, it reveals the historical truth that lies behind historical actuality.","PeriodicalId":406267,"journal":{"name":"Academia Research Journal","volume":"65 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127230708","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
