However, once information is transmitted through the Internet media, it becomes a passive entity of only being consumed by receivers. Aiming to fully utilize such capabilities of the Internet and to exploit media functionality of information, we put forward Rhizomic-link as a mecha-nism for self-organizing of information, which autonomously intermediates and networks information. In this paper, we introduce the concept of the Rhizomic-link as a mechanism for self-organizing of information. In addition, we describe a prototype system to implement the mechanism and the expected effects.","PeriodicalId":405766,"journal":{"name":"Annual Conference of the Society of Instrument and Control Engineers of Japan","volume":"83 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-07-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132203773","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Through these previous works, neural activities in specific brain regions such as premotor, primary motor areas and intraparietal sulcus related to the embodied cognition has been identified, however dynamical relationship among them has not been well understood. In this study, we investigated the characteristic of functional connectivity among those brain areas under RHI by using near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS). We recognized functional connectivity using Granger causality on activating brain areas. Moreover, the result suggests that the direction of exchanging visuo-tactile information among brain areas changes according to feeling the illusion. Functional connectivity would reflect embodied cognition.","PeriodicalId":405766,"journal":{"name":"Annual Conference of the Society of Instrument and Control Engineers of Japan","volume":"128 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-07-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130987921","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the limited conditions such as solar cell efficiency or sunray radiant quantities, an efficient operation is required to achieve continuous flight. In order to improve endurance flight capability of solar powered UAV, this study tried to optimize flight path through the use of gravitational potential energy by controlling flight altitude and through aircraft attitude control. The energy model includes the solar position, aircraft attitude, and aerodynamics characteristics, and the influence of air density and atmospheric transmittance was considered according to flight altitude change. Through a case study, energy optimization was performed for endurance flight. As a result of simulation, compared to level flight, energy acquisition increased and battery use decreased, which indicates that flight path optimization is effective for improvement of endurance flight capability.","PeriodicalId":405766,"journal":{"name":"Annual Conference of the Society of Instrument and Control Engineers of Japan","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-07-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128800154","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Focusing on rejecting the load disturbance during idling operation, an adaptive speed controller for throttle, combined with a delay compensation by spark advance (SA), is designed based on the nonlinear mean-value engine model. To deal with the performance interaction of the air-fuel ratio to the idle speed, a novel fuel injection control strategy is integrated with the speed control loop. The robustness of the idle speed control is demonstrated by numerical simulation first. Experimental testing on an engine test bench demonstrates the effectiveness of the control strategy.","PeriodicalId":405766,"journal":{"name":"Annual Conference of the Society of Instrument and Control Engineers of Japan","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-07-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125154948","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
