In order to overcome the two drawbacks the LC filter brings, an improved control method for PWM current source rectifier with active damping function is proposed in this paper. The proposed power factor control method is based on the source voltage oriented d-q rotating frame, which is parameters insensitive and can make the rectifier get the maximum achievable power factor. Meanwhile, in order to suppress the LC resonance and to reduce the line current total harmonic distortion (THD) without the physical damping resistor, the active damping technique is adopted, which is realized together with the power factor control, directly through detecting the capacitor voltage. Only three measurement functions-voltage measurement, measurement of the number of pulses, and measurement of the pulse width-are sufficient as the basic functions of the general-purpose remote monitoring system. As determination criteria in the monitoring device four output items are assigned as basic functions. The output items are also transferred to the server of the manufacturer via the Internet. The proposed algorithm is based on the power summation method and takes the power losses into account considering the mutual coupling between three phases. The transformers are modeled by transformer nodal admittance matrix and mathematical formulas concerning to backward/forward sweep calculations of transformers are presented in detail for power summation-based process. This paper presents a dynamic learning model, based on the discrepancy between the expected price of power producers and the price they actually observe, which has a unique steady state, where any subjective demand function coincides with the true demand function. By using reasonable mathematical transform, Space Vector PWM (SVPWM) technique for FSTPI under DC-link voltage imbalance or ripples have been solved, which is based on the establishment of basic space vectors and modulation technique in similarity with six-switch three-phase inverters. This approach has a very important sense to solve hard problems for FSTPI under DC-link voltage imbalance, for example ensuring the required voltage for undermodulation mode and overmodulation mode 1 and 2, extended to six-step mode. Matlab/ Simulink is used for the simulation of the proposed SVPWM algorithm for undermodulation, overmodulation mode 1 and 2. The proposed methodology employs ant system in cooperating with the priority list method to find unit commitment solution as means of mutually combining the advantages of them in that a flexibility of the priority list method is reinforced, while AS algorithm can gain the benefit of using bias information for improving its performance during search process. The simulation results show that the proposed HASP is capable of obtaining satisfactory solution within reasonable computational time. There is also a problem of possible inaccuracy of a found solution. This paper describes a GA performance analysis for a selected vector-based optimization problem that has led to useful GA parameter selection criteria. The paper also describes a new method for increasing the precision of a complementary micro genetic algorithm (μGA) by enforcing gradual contraction of the space of candidate solutions during optimization.
