The fingerprint has unique characteristics called minutiae, which are points where a curve track finishes, intersect or branches off. In this work a method for Fingerprint recognition is considered using a combination of Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) and Gabor Filters for enhancing the image. The proposed method involves combination of Gabor filter and Frequency domain filtering for enhancing the fingerprint. With eight different orientations of Gabor filter, features of the fingerprint extracting are combined. In Frequency domain filtering, the fingerprint image is subdivided into 32*32 small frames. Features are extracted from these frames in frequency domain. Final enhanced fingerprint is obtained with the results of Gabor filter and frequency domain filtering. Binarization and Thinning follows next where the enhanced fingerprint is converted into binary and the ridges are thinned to one pixel width. This helps in extracting the Minutiae parts (ridge bifurcation and ridge endings). The overall recognition rate for the proposed method is 95% which is much better than histogram method where the recognition rate is 64%. This topic has been gaining increasing attention within both academia and industry for making the industry competitive. With the ever increasing demand for reducing carbon foot prints and green house gas emission, there is a need to study the various parameters and drivers of sustainable development, especially in supply chain management. The need for developing the sustainable model including the drivers of sustainability needs to be designed. Methodology: Using resource based theory and value chain analysis; we have developed a model for sustainable strategy. The data was collected and analyzed to find the key drivers of sustainability. The data was analyzed with the help of regression and correlation analysis. Findings: After providing a background discussion on GSCM, we categorize and review recent GSCM literature under three broad categories, with a special emphasis on investigation of adoption, diffusion and outcomes of GSCM practices. Within this review framework, we also identified GSCM research questions that are worthy of investigation. The study suggests that the main drivers of GSCM include the environmental policy and the green human resource management by providing them training for adopting sustainability practices. Besides this, another key driver is the sustainability criteria in supplier selection which was found to be enhancing the outcomes of sustainability. Managerial implications and research implications: The model suggests that we need to have management support for implementing the sustainability strategy in the organization. SCSRRI provides a repository to software developers for component selection according to their requirements. The dataset comprised of 698 tender files obtained from DRDO website. The dataset was processed and fed into Weka toolkit. Experiments were conducted using Naïve Bayes classifier with 10 folds cross validation. The documents were classified with 75.21 percent accuracy by technology area and 68.62 percent by lab's name when the dataset included lab names somewhere in the document. An accuracy result of 74.36 percent and 68.34 percent was attained for the technology area and name of the lab respectively when all occurrences of lab names were removed from the dataset. This experiment is a step to train auto-classification of the tender documents available on Internet for Selective Dissemination of Information to the Concerned Vendors.
