{"title":"Nurullah Ataç’ın Sözcüklerinin Kaynakları","authors":"Sedat Balyemez","doi":"10.21497/SEFAD.944041","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.21497/SEFAD.944041","url":null,"abstract":"Baslangicta oz Turkcecilik hareketine mesafeli duran Nurullah Atac, ozellikle 1940’larin ortalarindan itibaren ozlestirmenin en buyuk savunucularindan biri olmustur. Atac’in yazilarinda kullandigi bazi yeni kelimeler, dil arastirmacilarinin da ilgisini cekmis ve bu kelimeler uzerine cesitli siniflama, derleme calismalari yapilmistir. Atac’in kelimeleri uzerine yapilan bazi calismalarda aslinda Atac tarafindan turetilmeyen birtakim kelimeler icin “Atac tarafindan turetilmistir.” bilgisinin verildigi gorulmustur. Şu durumda Atac’in kullandigi sozcuklerden hangilerinin Atac tarafindan turetilmis oldugu konusunda bir karisiklik vardir ve bu sozcukler uzerinde genis kapsamli yeni bir arastirma yapmak gerekmektedir. Atac’in yazilarinda kullandigi 873 sozcuk, daha once baska bir arastirmaci tarafindan “Atac’in Sozcukleri” adli kitapta bir araya getirilmistir. Eldeki bu calismada Dil Devrimi’nin ilk yillarinda yayimlanan ve hem eski kelimeleri hem de yeni kelimeleri iceren sozlukler taranarak bu 873 sozcugun kaynagi arastirilmistir. Atac’in hangi kelimeyi hangi sozlukten almis olabilecegini, hangi kelimeleri turetmis olabilecegini gosteren listeler olusturulmustur. Nurullah Atac’in turetme ve birlestirme yoluyla 306 yeni sozcuk yaptigi, kullandigi diger kelimeleri ise sozluklerden almis olabilecegi sonucuna varilmistir. Atac’in eski kokler kullanarak turettigi kelimeler bugun unutulmustur. Canli koklerden turettigi 39 sozcuk ise bugun yazi dilinde yasamaktadir. Kadina yonelik dergilerde kadin, toplumsal sorunlar, adalet, esitlik, yoksulluk gibi kavramlar karsisindaki konumu ile degil; ask, para, guzellik gibi kavramlarla sembolize edilen bir konuma indirgenmistir. 1954-1967 arasinda yayimlanan Akis dergisi bir kadin dergisi olmamakla birlikte “Kadinlar Arasinda” bolumuyle donemin kadin kimligine yonelik elestirel bir bakis acisina sahip olmasi onu diger dergilerden ayirmaktadir. Bu calismada Akis dergisinin kadinin toplumsal hayattaki yeri uzerine olan dusunsel perspektifi analiz edilmeye calisilmistir. Bu amacla 15 Mayis-25 Aralik 1954 yillari arasindaki 33 sayi niteliksel icerik analizi yontemiyle incelenmistir. Derginin “Kadinlar Arasinda” bolumu kose yazilari ve haber metinleri olmak uzere iki kategoride degerlendirilmistir. Arastirma sonucunda kose yazilarinda Turk kadinin toplumsal, ekonomik ve siyasal yasamda etkin bir kimlige sahip olmasi gerekliligi uzerinde durulmustur. Ozellikle ekonomik ve siyasal anlamda Amerikan kadininin rol model olarak sunuldugu gorulmektedir. Haber metinlerindeyse kadinin geleneksel rolleri, gunluk yasam pratikleri icerisinde degerlendirilmistir. Cin dilinin zorlugu uzun yillar boyunca dilin surekli olarak hukumet tarafindan sadelestirilmesi calismalarini da beraberinde getirmistir ancak dilin bu sadelestirme hareketi, kirsal kesimlerdeki azinliklar icin durumu daha zor bir hale getirmistir. Bu calismanin amaci; iki dillilik ve bunun olumlu-olumsuz sonuclarini Cin’deki azinliklar uzerinden degerlendirmektir. Calismada, tarihsel surec icerisinde hukumetin egitim-ogretimde aldigi karar ve yasalara basvurulmustur. Hukumetin bu konudaki tutumunun yani sira Cinli bilim insanlarinin iki dilli egitime bakis acilari arastirilip, iki dilli egitim politikalari ve bunlarin Cin azinlik okullarinda uygulanmasi incelenmistir. Another common practice of comparative analysis is to study how Euro-American literary texts inspire nonEuropean ones, and vice versa. Yet, there is a methodological gap concerning the comparative studies that focus on non-European texts with no “direct” intertextual connection. On this basis, arguably, one of the most intriguing and creative ways of comparing two or more non-European works is to spot their common source texts. It is certainly not the only method of comparing non-Western texts, but it is indubitably an efficient method for positivistic intertextual analysis. This article aims to present a “case study” that may serve as a model for comparing non-European literatures. To this end, we focused on two works from Turkish and Japanese literatures that share remarkable resemblances, yet that do not have direct intertextual bonds: Mori Ōgai’s The Dancing Princess and Sabahattin Ali’s Madonna in a Fur Coat. {"title":"A Text in the Communicative Dimension: The Relationship between the Open and Closed Text in the Context of Umberto Eco’s Ideas","authors":"O. The aim of the study is to analyze the specifics of relationship between the open and closed text in the general context of communication between the author and the reader. While supporting mainly U. Eco’s concept in our article, we furnish it with the analysis of four approaches of openness/closedness, which we have singled out. Openness/closedness is conceptualized, firstly: as an ontological perspective of the opposition between the communication parameters: The text-as-process and text-as-outcome; secondly, as interpretation procedures that are common for the articulation of all texts, regardless of their form and contents; thirdly, as the ontological and technological potential of works’ physical unfinishedness that invite the recipient to co-authorship (for example, ‘the work-in-movement’ and hypertext); fourthly, as the ability of a text to provoke multiple or unambiguous interpretations. We also demonstrate that the way of text’s functioning is determined not only by the addressee's attitude to it, but text itself, in return, stimulates this attitude, predisposing to it by its specificity (as informative or artistic, kitsch or art, hypertext or linear text, digital or analog). Bei einem Übersetzungsprozess reicht es jedoch nicht, zwei Sprachen zu beherrschen, da die Übertragung eines Ausgangstextes in die Zielsprache außer Sprachwissen weitere Kompetenzen erfordert. Insbesondere in Übersetzungen von literarischen Texten, in denen der Stil und die Gattung sehr bedeutend sein können, bei Bilingualen häufig Fehler auftreten. Diese Arbeit hat es zum Ziel, eine Fehleranalyse anhand literarischen Übersetzungen zu machen und die von Bilingualen häufig geführten Fehlerarten festzustellen. Dafür werden aus drei verschiedenen Universitäten Studierende ausgewählt und von ihnen erwartet, dass sie Textteile aus Stefan Zweigs verschiedenen Werken übersetzen. Die Studierenden übersetzten insgesamt zehn Sätze, die aus stilistischer, orthographischer, morphologischer und pragmatischer Perspektive bewertet werden. XIV. yuzyilda yasamis olan Hâfiz-i Şirâzi de lirik siirleri ile Fars edebiyatinda onemli bir yere sahiptir. Bu iki sair Turk, Fars ve Bati edebiyatinda onemli izler birakmislardir. Sa‘di ve Hâfiz siirlerinde ele aldiklari konular acisindan birbirlerine benzemelerine ragmen Sa’di somut, Hâfiz ise soyut kavramlar uzerinde yogunlasmistir. Hâfiz’in siirselligi manada Sa‘di’ninki ise lâfizdadir. Sa‘di anlatmak istediklerini sade Hâfiz ise susleyerek dile getirmistir. Bu bakimdan bu iki sairin gazelleri estetik acidan incelendiginde farkliliklar kadar benzerlikler gormek de mumkundur. Calismamizda once “Estetik” terimi ve “Şiirdeki Estetik” hakkinda genel bir bilgi verilmistir sonrasinda Sa‘di ve Hâfiz’in uslubu ve gazellerindeki “Gul” ve “Bulbul” mazmunlarinin benzerlik ve farkliliklari uzerinde durulmustur. Global coursebooks, which are standardized and international, the traditional teaching and learning habits, cultural norms and needs of the country in which they are written. The aim of this research is to determine the criteria to be considered in the local foreign language coursebooks that will be designed for the Turkish students by examining the opinions of foreign language teachers regarding the global and local coursebooks. Qualitative research method was used in this study. In the research conducted with foreign language teachers in the 2018-2019 academic year, data were collected by using an open-ended questionnaire. That data obtained through that questionnaire were analysed by the content analysis method. In accordance with the data obtained from the study, opinions of the foreign language teachers, who participated in the questionnaire, have been identified regarding the global and local coursebooks that are used in foreign language classes in Turkey. With these findings, it was revealed that a great majority of the participants found the current local foreign language coursebooks insufficient, and therefore used global coursebooks.
