Firstly, MATLAB engine method was chosen by comparing a variety of mixed programming methods of MATLAB and Visual C++ (VC). Secondly, two experiments were studied by using two tracked robots. The first experiment was performed in static environment and the second experiment was performed in dynamic environment. The experimental results show that the dynamic path planning method in [1] is not only suitable for the dynamic environment but also suitable for the static environment. The proposed method in this paper is feasible, and it can save programming time and improve efficiency of algorithm verification.","PeriodicalId":404630,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of 2013 2nd International Conference on Measurement, Information and Control","volume":"17 3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123030242","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The number and locations of change points produce significant influence on software reliability estimation, but now there is no effective way to estimate accurately. Therefore, this paper proposes a new method of change points estimation. According to the control chart of software failure data and the proposed judgment criteria of change points, it estimates the number and locations of change points initially. Then, it proposes a progressive adjustment method to calculate locations of change points accurately. The feasibility and effectiveness of the new method are examined by using two public software failure data sets. The results show that the proposed model with new change points fits the failure data better and can predict two sets of data more accurately.","PeriodicalId":404630,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of 2013 2nd International Conference on Measurement, Information and Control","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126387566","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It consists of two algorithms: a GPU-based internal sorting algorithm and a CPU-based multi-way merging algorithm. The algorithm divided the large-scale data into multiple chunks to fit GPU global memory. Then copy the chunks to the GPU's global memory one by one, and sort them by GPU quicksort algorithm. Then we merge these sub-sequences to one sorted sequence by CPU. We use the loser tree algorithm to reduce the number of comparisons when merging. Finally, this algorithm is tested using a variety of data distribution. The experimental results show that our algorithm improves the efficiency of large-scale data sorting effectively.","PeriodicalId":404630,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of 2013 2nd International Conference on Measurement, Information and Control","volume":"90 2","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114103947","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The gasifier temperature control is general realized by fuzzy controller in traditional method, however, the temperature control effect is not very good because the performance of fuzzy controller is affected by many factors. Considering that particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm has simple operation and fast convergence, the coding of fuzzy rules are completed by defining an equivalent probability matrix, the appropriate objective function is selected as particle fitness function. Particles with higher fitness degree are obtained by iterative optimization, as the fuzzy control rule, which is applied to the gasifier temperature control. The results of application show the optimized control effect is much better than the original fuzzy controller in the rapidity despite the loss in the stability, to achieve optimal control.","PeriodicalId":404630,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of 2013 2nd International Conference on Measurement, Information and Control","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114156406","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Different types of partial discharge existed in power apparatus, which will lead to breakdown of insulation. The purpose of the research work presented in this paper constitutes the issue of effective and efficient recognition of different types of partial discharges. First, partial discharge activity under AC is studied using acoustic emission technique. The wavelet technology is used to analyze acoustic signal caused by PD. Then a hybrid model which combined wavelet transform with wavelet network is proposed to classify and characteristic different types of signals. By using this method the surface, plane-plane, pin-plane, and floating discharge signal is classified effectively. Finally, to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed classified method, this study investigates its identification ability using 150 sets of acoustic signals generated by the PD model in insulation oil. The experiment results show that the proposed method is efficient and reliable.","PeriodicalId":404630,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of 2013 2nd International Conference on Measurement, Information and Control","volume":" 24","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"113947272","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

With actual consumption data, these three models can be used to predict the monthly social total electricity demand of a year for the particular area respectively. Through comparing the actual load value with the prediction results obtained by different models, predicted value, the actual value graphical trend and relative error of the prediction results obtained in the three models are analyzed. The feasibility of three load forecasting models, which are applicable to 'small samples' object is discussed. In MATLAB simulation, using actual load data to predict, it's borne out that the outcome of the variable weight combination forecasting is better than the gray prediction method and RBF neural network prediction method and it is suitable for the selected region of the actual situation in the text.","PeriodicalId":404630,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of 2013 2nd International Conference on Measurement, Information and Control","volume":"36 7-8","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131450890","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
