Photovoltaic is the process of converting the light source into electrical since they produce a nonlinear output. These solar panels are high cost but low efficient during change in ambient conditions. Hence by using LABVIEW as software the maximum power point of a solar panel is tracked by using a simple and fast perturb and observation (P&O) algorithm also varying duty cycle to boost converter for rapidly variation in input voltage according to ambient conditions to deliver a regulated and maximum voltage towards the load or battery efficiently.","PeriodicalId":403563,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Conference on Science Engineering and Management Research (ICSEMR)","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131170376","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Each person can be identified by his/her appearance and clothing types. But appearance and clothing of a person may vary in different views and in many scenarios. In this paper, a new model has been proposed to identify a person by unique triat (i.e., walking style) through static and dynamic features of gait. Initially, body part model has been build with eleven joints. The static and dynamic features of the gait has been extracted from each person and feature vector has been derived. Stride length, hip to knee distance, knee to ankle distance has been considered as Static Parameters. The joint angles from hip and knee, joint angular velocity and acceleration has been considered as Dynamic parameters. The Euclidean distance measurement has been done. The novelty of this paper lies in feature extraction and codebook generation for each and every person in order to identify the person reliably. Person has been identified in different situations and the results obtained through this method seems to be promising.","PeriodicalId":403563,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Conference on Science Engineering and Management Research (ICSEMR)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134338451","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

First, this paper derives fundamental qualitative properties of the new chaotic system such as dissipativity, symmetry, invariance, Lyapunov exponents and Lyapunov dimension. The phase portraits of the novel chaotic system are shown using MATLAB. Next, this paper uses adaptive control theory and Lyapunov stability theory to derive an adaptive feedback control law for globally stabilizing the novel chaotic system for all initial conditions. The main result is proved with the help of Lyapunov stability theory. Adaptive control results are validated by MATLAB simulations.","PeriodicalId":403563,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Conference on Science Engineering and Management Research (ICSEMR)","volume":"56 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131634219","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is a fundamental and initial level task which plays a major work in detecting and identifying an object. It generates background model from the video sequence to detect foreground object in many computer vision applications such as traffic security, human machine interaction and recognition of objects. In this paperwe propose a system to detect and track the object of interest i.e foreground object from the background video and generate sequence of frames through optical flow algorithm. This helps us to model the background from illumination changes and sudden occlusion etc. The proposed work also calculatesthe distance travelled by the car in pixel/sec unit. The system keeps track of the vehicle whether the vehicles are balanced on the road by calculating the centriod.","PeriodicalId":403563,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Conference on Science Engineering and Management Research (ICSEMR)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131147770","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Based on its input voltage the proposed EVLS can able to perform level up shift or level down shift. EVLS means, the circuit monitors its input voltage and performs level up shift, when its input voltage is low and level down shift when its input voltage is high. This novel level shifter consistently performs level up shift from 0.6V to 1.2V and level down shift from 1.2V to 0.6V. A new design of level up and down shifter for low power application has been presented. The circuit has been designed and simulated with 90nm process technology. In analysis of power and delay, the new proposed EVLS shifter has level up and level down average power dissipation of 24.7145nW and with a delay of 2.053ns has achieved.","PeriodicalId":403563,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Conference on Science Engineering and Management Research (ICSEMR)","volume":"193 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124290273","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Sybil attack is one of the harmful attacks against sensor Grid where a number of appropriate individualities and forged individualities are used to get an inappropriate entry into the network. Essentially a Sybil attack means a system which pretends its individuality like further nodes. In this scenario a system can trust the reclose system and it start sharing its data. Due to this activity a node's safety is affected and data is lost. In this paper, a survey is done on Sybil attack and projected a mutual RAI - Relate and Identify Tactic and LVT Location Verification technique to avoid these attacks.","PeriodicalId":403563,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Conference on Science Engineering and Management Research (ICSEMR)","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125932623","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
